Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4999 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4999 Candy Crush Saga is yet another level that is classified as a hard level so you will expect to lose some lives before you manage to pass it without boosters. This is a multi task level, you have to collect yellow and red candies and clear the jelly to complete the level. The red and yellow candies will be provided by the lucky candies around the outside of the board.
There are two dispensers at the bottom of the board which will give you extra lucky candies which has made the level slightly easier but it is still hard to complete without boosters.
Collecting the red and yellow candies is not the hardest task, clearing the jelly is the trickiest part of the level as there are squares that can only be cleared using combos.
You should be able to make colourbombs and other special candies fairly easily and you will need to switch them together to change the lucky candies and clear the jelly. The more combos you can make the better chance you have of completing the level. As with all jelly levels you need to make as many powerful combos as possible and blast everything on the board, this will clear the jelly and also collect the red and yellow candies.
At the time of writing I have not been able to pass this level without boosters even though it has been made very slightly easier by the addition of the lucky candy dispensers.

I passed this level before viewing the blog, on my first attempt, with a full booster bot. I did have to use a few switch hands and hammers, much like the supporting video. This level seems to require them, unless you can make at least three color bomb + wrapped, color bomb + color bomb, or color bomb + striped combinations. I think that I was able to make only one or two. Good luck everyone, thank you for the tips, and happy crushing!

I haven't tried this one yet, but based on Cookies advice, and the comments, I may be here for a while as I don't have an arsenal of boosters.
Even if I go back to a lower level and play for Booster Bot it won't give me any Hammers or Switch Hands.
I'm really looking forward to getting to level 5000 (preferably in this lifetime).
Starting to feel that level 5000 is an impossible dream.
Actually looked to Cookie's site for 5000 to see if anyone had passed (and they did)

I'm guessing she works for Candy Crush. It's impossible to beat some of these levels without boosters and be this far ahead!!
It seems like the longer these levels take me to pass the less I play. Maybe it will break my addiction finally

OMG -What am I to do--just a so-so player when Cookie & Johnnie Crush need 4 hand switches & 3 lollipop hammers to win? Discouraged before I begin. Wonder if C C King developers actually play the levels or just spew out evil creations? LOL I lack boosters so I will be on this level until "the cows come home" Thickened the Jelly now 114 compared to 61 making it impossible for old eyes to see. The devil has nice HOT seats for all of them/
