Hints and tips showing how to pass level 5017 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 5017 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a jelly level and most of the board has jelly, although not all of it.
First use stripes to clear the licorice shells on the left, if you wait a couple of moves you will get wrapped candies dropping, hit the wraps to hit the licorice shells twice. Once the shells are cleared the colourbombs and sunsequent wraps will drop down into the bottom right and can be hit using stripes to collect the keys. Once the keys are cleared you can look for combos to clear the remaining jelly. There is no jelly under the licorice in the bottom right so don't try to clear it.
Use the given stripes and wraps to complete this level.

Achieved on 3rd attempt. I used the tick booster, as the popcorn layers are normally less thick than the other popcorn.

Need some help please!
It's not too difficult when you work it out. Basically IGNORE the sides and concentrate on the centre section. Clear the liquorice as quickly as possible and then try to make stripe/wrap combos or, at least, side stripes to clear the cakes. It took me 5 or 6 goes, but eventually I got the cakes with 10 moves left to make a vertical stripe in the middle to get the last popcorn. Finished with moves left. If you work in the side sections then you'll never get past the endless liquorice.
Another holy cannoli level with not enough moves....I come here for tips I will concentrate in the center!

Turning into another level that it's going to take a while to get past...hoping for that lucky board.

Posting for luck again. Did the same for 5016, and beat the level the very next time. Or, also could have been because I had played that level at least 100x’s, and finally got the lucky board.
King is so disrespectful to the players by controlling the boards. I'm disgusted by having to beg for a lucky board after playing days on end. I feel I am in an abused relationship and that is not acceptable.

I followed the tip to concentrate on the bottom center of the board, and made it through using one hammer. Thanks for the tip.
Not enough moves so guess it's time to wait for a lucky board. Boring, should have quit at 5000.

This is the second board that has changed since I reached 5000. Praying fir a lucky board with some double colorbombs. I have no idea how to make this one work. And it is classified as easy now.

I only visit CC once a day to collect the free boosters😂. Playing is no option, they change the rules all the time. So I take a sprint to the other games I play with more fun than cc can ever bring. A game must be joy, not annoying and irritating feeling!
Completely different board for the billionth time and can’t even come even a little close to hitting a cake or to open up the two colorbombs at top. Then out comes a plethora of licorice which blocks every stripe if you get lucky enough to get any stripes. Wrapped candies are completely worthless on this board. They don’t touch a thing. This whole board is a mess and not to mention barely any moves. When you start to get more pissed at a game rather than enjoy it, it is definitely time to move on. Now it’s just doing the “moving on” part. Just hate how so much time and money has been invested into this. Ugh! Stupid CC!

Very poorly designed level. This one may have done it for me. I'm tired of losing life after life due to these awful designs.

They really changed this board. It's NOTHING like what you posted Cookie. I've gotten so close so many times. And it's always the same corner. At least change the algorithm a bit so it isn't so blatant. I use to LOVE this game. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. But then King became super greedy. And I no longer play or enjoy it as much. Anyways, only getting through this one with lucky board. Posting for LUCK 🍀!!

Different board, not enough moves too much licorice to clear before hitting the cakes. Will only pass this level with Kings help by giving me an algorithm board!! Very soon please!
