Hints and tips showing how to pass level 5028 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 5028 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. This is a jelly level and most of the jelly is covered by waffles at the start of the game. I am not sure if this level is actually possible to pass without boosters at the time of writing so it may be a good idea to make sure you have some boosters to play with before you start.
The left side of the board is the "bottom" of the board, so making moves on the left will bring down candies from the right side, so if you want to keep combos in position for a couple of moves make your moves in the right side to avoid making cascades and losing your combos.
The candy curls are blocking the portals to begin with, stopping the candies from dropping through. For this reason it may be better not to clear the candy curls too early, although if you make the combos you need they are likely to be clear fairly quickly anyway.
You'll need to think carefully about your moves to get the combos together on this complicated board.
As with all jelly levels you are going to need as many powerful combos as possible to blast away at everything on the board.

The way I found was to make horizontal stripes in the left side to destroy the jellies between curles. Not easy. Good luck

Can anyone tell me what the round striped bonus at the bottom right under the game, and the exploding cone next to it do? I got them for passing 5000. I've tried Googling it, but I don't know what they are called so I can't get it. Thanks!

Yep I believe this is going to be the level that I’m finally going to walk away entirely too much going on not enough moves it’s nothing but a cluster crap on top of cluster crap ..... same BS different day and I am so totally over it

Well, for just about the first time ever I can't work out any kind of strategy. I have no clue how to beat this. There's generally only one move available, usually a useless one in the middle of the right hand side. Absolute rubbish. Come on King, is this really the best you can do?

Today marks a week I have been on this level and 3 days of making comments - it is impossible without boosters of which I have none. So realizing I will never get this level I am going to play Words and Sudoku!

Can someone tell me how thick the waffles and jelly are? I have been burned several times when using my last hammer to finish what I thought was the last jelly layer. Surprise! Thanks to everyone who takes the time to come back and post their tips.
I tried something different. I don't know if it helped but I did get down to one jelly with one move left using no boosters. I would have finished but it was a jelly with no candy alone on a conveyor and, alas, I have no hammers. What I did was to turn off the auto rotate on my phone so I was able to change the orientation of the board. It was still a confusing board but worth a try. Good luck everyone.
I'm done playing this level until I have at least one hammer. Three times in a row I was down to one jelly left with one move. It is always on a conveyor and has no candy in it. Hmmm...Maybe I better have two hammers just in case.

A few comments in 2022. Beside that, all my boasters were dissapear. Is this the fraud game of CC? I really think so! Time to warn players in the future! This game is not goosjer. Its all fraud.
To honest, I don’t believe in the kingsize game, cc is part of this fraud game, I am sure about that. Do I play it often? Hell no! So fed up with fraud, so fed up that cc took all boosters away. If candy crush stopped tomorrow I will have a big party! Most gamers are fed up by this game!
