Hints and tips showing how to pass level 5238 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 5238 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you are likely to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a multi task level, you have to collect waffles, clear the two cakes and clear all the jelly to complete the level.
I'm not sure if this level is possible to pass without boosters and you will need a lot of luck if you try, plus even more patience. Try to start the level with either a double colourbomb combo or a colourbomb/wrap combo. This will give you a good start to clearing some of the crystal candies and unlocking some of the licorice. The combo might also grow the frog and he can be used to clear part of one of the cakes at the bottom of the board.
You need to look for combos the whole time as you will not be able to clear the board unless you can make some powerful combos, especially colourbomb combos. The frog can be useful and I would suggest you use it to clear cake sections and waffles in the corners where they are hard to get to.
Once the cakes are cleared it will become much easier to make the combos to clear the remaining jelly. For this reason you should concentrate on clearing the cakes as much as possible.
At the time of writing there are no videos made without boosters and the one below was made using a colourbomb, stripe/wrap and fish boosters.

Where is everybody?? I'm getting nowhere and used all my boosters. HELP! Really need a lucky board
This was the toughest for me in this episode, finally with the help of full "build-a-bot" I was able to start with CB/wrap combo, perhaps a lucky board as well, good luck!

Started with a double CB (and must admit, went back to 606 for getting full bot (after some attempts then led to less than nowhere and after reading the comments here). After this, is was fairly easy to destroy the first cake, even easier to destroy the second and getting the last 17 jellies no problem.
I also have no boosters; therefore, since it is impossible to win this level without them, what are you supposed to do?....I have officially declared this level IMPOSSIBLE...
I feel I have played long enough to know when a level just can't be done without help....I have no weapons and having to hit candies, that are protected, a multitude of times is hard enough and when you don't have enough moves to do it....well!!! Please help me here or tell Crush to increase the amount of moves to give me a fighting chance....

Lucky people! If you're able to go back to an old level...ANY old level, like 606 or 1055 and earn a full bot, go right now and buy a lottery ticket, you are super lucky. In my game, for many months, the only way to win and stack boosters is by playing NEW levels.
Choc bombs together at the start. Used other choc bombs to fatten the frog and put a wrap next to a fish once or twice. All of that worked and I achieved it on the first attempt!
Another tedious level play/lose/repeat for days. Frustration at the highest.

Stuck her for weeks now, I have no boosters, I dont get the Bot, I dont get sugar drops. I havent even been able to clear 1 cake as nothing I do makes any impact on them (unless I grow the frog and then I open 1/4 only. I have to say, I love this level. Unfortunately I have no boosters so I am stuck here for a while. I have got close and I seem to do best when I can get double wraps, particularly nearer the bottom of the board. I haven’t found frog to be that useful. How do people get full bots by going to 606? I can do 606 30 times and get nothing, am I doing something wrong?

They took away the ability to win boosters from completing 606 earlier this year along with free reset. They want you to buy boosters. Sooner or later CC will allow you to pass 😉

Just completed with no boosters. Took 3 days of trying though!
Well, at least CC increased moves from 25 to 27. I was thinking more like 50. 🤣 Was looking for help like “use the frog to clear one cake and with the cake blast it will cleat blockers from ither cake.” Alas, no such luck. Back to the game. 🍀🍀🍀
So the frog does nothing to the ice covering so that’s a waste.......
This level is a joke! The stupid frog does nothing so don’t waste moves to build it. You have to hit stupid ice covering directly to clear it and u can’t get near it until you directly hit the blockers twice and then clear the other blockers. 😡
Passed first time with only stripe and wrap but not together. Must have had lucky board. Frog was useful if placed near the cake.
So not fun anymore when you have to come here during every single level and post for some luck!!

I don’t know what level your playing but there are no double colourbomb combos as King is controlling the board. This is definitely a fixed game and I think all players are becoming aware of this as they reach higher levels. One cannot relax playing this game for sure. Time for all players to quit this con game.

thanks for the tips & video COOKIE, CC King developers have really f'ed up the players with this impossible level. Totally discouraged when the expert had to use 3 different types of boosters.. I have NO Boosters or money to BUY BUY BUY boosters-----rotten SOB KING is stingy greed pig.

It should not be necessary to use boosters to win a level this is underhand and dirty King no wonder people are leaving in their 1000’s
I would consider this almost impossible to pass without boosters. Unless you want to pay your way through, be patient. Start out without boosters. You need to rely on getting a lucky board to start this game or there is no chance to win and you will have wasted your boosters. I found success by first clearing out as many spaces on the top of the board as possible. Second creating and activating as many stripes, solids, combos, and super-bombs as possible. Use the frog asap next to the cakes to blast off as much icing and squares as possible, as it is activated. Once there is space to actually make voluntary moves, take your time in making the most combos possible. Work to get the cakes out of the way--that is the hardest task. Once the cakes are gone, carefully assess the board to eliminate remaining gel squares. This is the time to use those boosters during those last critical moves to your best advantage in clearing the board.

What's happened to Sweet Cinema and watch 3 videos for 5 extra moves? Last time I saw sweet cinema was last week. As for 5 extra moves, cant remember last one I had. All I see now are gold bars to use. No wonder we can't get through these games quickly!

Well, seems I am the only player, well till now. I also give up on this boring level/game like all players. Kingsize doesn’t understand it, CC doesn’t understand it. Seems they only focus on new players. I came to 5000 levels, enough for me. Enough time for me for the other games which has nothing to do with kingsize. Worst game ever.
My level 5238 is entirely different. No cakes, etc., but clear jelly/waffles - it's a "black" level, and is hard to pass. Help!
I’m completely stuck…I only have 20 moves which makes this absolutely impossible. My only hope is a lucky board, or it seems that I will have to throw in the towel and quit this game.
Sending a note once again: It is mathematically impossible to clear 224 items with 20 moves…it would mean clearing 11 items with every single move….not technically possible. I believe my board is faulty and ask you to please fix it or send a winning board as soon as possible. This is very frustrating to have a board that is actually designed to fail every time.
