Hints and tips showing how to pass level 5398 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Since the developers are releasing 45 or more levels each week I will not be able to write tips for every level. By now you should be expert at most challenges. I will post videos and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tip: A double colourbomb combo will give you lots of fish as well as clearing a lot of jelly, so it is worth using a few moves to make this combos.

I was unable to get two color bombs together in the beginning as Cookie suggested. However with only 3 moves left I had two color bombs close enough that I was able to switch a couple times to move them together. That did the trick. I can’t think of any other way you can get enough fish. The fish booster does very little

I’ve been at this level for a week, used up all boosters. Will not buy into this, so I played when I’m bored. And I’m done with this, going to read books
This weeks levels are hard and boring. Only lucky boards help. And 60 levels this week??? Too much :(

Another tedious level depending only of luck. Jelly is not a matter. But fish, on the corner is very difficult to hit. I tried with 2 CB together, but this gives only 12 fish. You must be very lucky for having furtherstrong combos on the edges in order to get the rest. Really, such levels make no fun. King, upgrade it, please. In the meanwhile, posting for a luck board.
I managed to manouvre 2 colour bombs next to each other twice, using hammers and hand switches. This sent the fishes into frenzy. I think that this is the only way to do this nasty level.

Horrible level cannot come close to collecting all the fish need help please. Been working on this for 2 straight days.
Another level that makes no sense ! Why is King putting out so many levels when we are being held hostage on the ones released weeks ago?
I know not everyone has bot but, for those of that do start with the CB combo ..when you grow the frog place it as close as you can to the floater.. that sends out fish..Keep growing the frog and place it as close to the floats as possible. The fish take care of everything.. It's about the fish...I finished with 15 leftover moves... I hope this helps someone!

Without the ability to earn boosters (hand switches to get 2 colorbombs together) impossible level. Has become such a boring game. Time to go back to tv.

I'm finding this level impossible I've tried double cb's plus using the frog whenever possible but still no good need a lucky board and soon getting so fed up with cc lately 😡😡

Impossible to get enough fish! Not even close! Would be nice to get double color bomb! Need lots of luck!

Passed in first try. Double color bomb and frog in the corners were good advice.

There has to be a way to beat this level but no tips are working. Not the fun game it used to be.
Came back to see if there are any new comments on how to beat this level. Using the daily lives to just mark time. The fish will not come out! This is getting so frustrating.
Two CBs is great, but if you don’t have that option, it’s still do able.
- Don’t worry about the jelly
- spend time making stripes and wraps
- try to get them to very bottom or at least the row w/3 spaces next to bottom
- stripe + wrap are best but stripe + stripe (if one is in bottom space) will hit floats
- the combos generate enough fish to take care of jelly and fish requirement
- if you happen to make CB, mix w/same color as frog to set him off
- whenever frog is ready, put him in upper left and upper right spaces (will set off 1 fish and hit 2 hard jelly spots)
- remember to breathe
Forgot to mention, fish booster will give you credit against requirement. However, it’s counted as 1 fish even if it spawns 3 fish...
Another horrible level from CC....I was using all of my boosters thinking it would help....nope...unable to collect all the fish

Please, this level has me defeated---I have tried every boost there is with no luck --getting the fish is impossible for me. I don't see how I can pass this one so I'm posting for help----please, please, please!! I've wasted so much time and $$!

I've cleared the jelly multiple times but always have 12 to 15 fish left used up all boosters HELP!!!
Use the frog when grown first to block the licorice from the center. Then later on use the grown frog to create room te form a cb whith some luck to will succeed. Succes.
I've tried both placing frog in top corners and in spaces to block licorice,but can't come close to enough fish. Lost count of the lives used. Definitely need a lucky board
Actually too bored to even count how many tries I've had at this level but its going into its second day now. For some reason you now can't reset your game at the beginning without losing a life which is also tedious. I need a lucky board please king.

Seriously, this is the worst level for a long time. Not coming close, booster don't seem to help. Even failed after getting double colour bomb. Need luck

Forget about the frog, he only gets one fish each time, not worth the effort. Instead, aim to get stripe/wrap combo at the bottom of the board, that will get you 6 fish if you hit both of the fishing floats.
Also, a UFO will give you 9, so use that if you have it.

This is the worst level. I can't hit the floats. The frog only gets 1 fish. Color bombs are hard to make and very
seldom can get two next to each other. Getting so bored. Please give me a good bored so I can enjo this again.

This level is ridiculously hard and should be Nightmare ➕ ➕ ➕. How the hell anyone can finish it is beyond me!!!!

the lucky board finally came along . . . .but . . . I still needed one fish and only had one move left, which would not hit a float. In desperation I tried to use a Hammer on a float . . . and it worked . . .I got a fish!!!!
What a boring level. And no chance to collect sugardrops any more. Too many of CC levels, are too boring to play. Because the point here is to wait for å lucky board and that makes us feeling stupid.

I found the best way was to get wrapped candies down near the fish floats, two together if possible - hope this tip helps!

My strategy: I made stripe/wrap combo at every opportunity near the bottom corners. This gave me the fish needed.
Hate it..Hate it..Hate it. This level impossible for me. Tried every strategy from tips. Tried using full bot still can't pass. What joy is there in playing level over and over again for days.CC has become the pits.

The only way to beat this level is to explode wrapped candies near the fish. Putting the frog near the lure only releases one fish. So use the frog if you have to to clear the jellies. Make as many wrapped as you can. I haven’t passed but i have gotten closer. Just need a couple more well placed wrapped. 🍀🍀🍀WTF CC PFL!!

A cada nível os desenvolvedores do CC se superam em imbecilidade. Outro nível impossível. As dicas são desnecessárias porque nada resolve neste nível. Como já virou praxe, todos os níveis agora só dependem de sorte, usar ou comprar reforços. Este jogo está decadente e acabado. Perdeu a razão de existir. Meu conselho para este nível é não usar e não comprar reforços, é isto que eles querem que você faça, melhor opção é deletar o CC.
