Hints and tips showing how to pass level 5538 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Since the developers are releasing 45 or more levels each week I will not be able to write tips for every level. By now you should be expert at most challenges. I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 5538 is classified as a nightmarishly hard level so you may lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a jelly level and there is jelly over the whole board so everything has to be cleared to complete the level. Concentrate on clearing the cakes in the bottom section of the board. This will help clear a lot of the jelly and also grow the two licorice shells/popcorns. The fish from the two floats will help a lot as they usually target the cakes and later the bombs. Try to hit the floats with combos when you can to get more fish. The stripes from the dispensers can be switched to gether to hit the floats. You won't get candies dropping into the bottom section apart from bombs, but these will still be helpful for clearing the jelly if you can make a colourbomb combo.

A very frustrating level I keep getting one left and I have no hammers.
If you can start with double color bombs, it will definitely help clearing the cakes. But don’t rely on the fish to get the bombs....in my games they would hit everything else but the bobs. Even when I only had a single bomb left, the fish would hit empty spaces..and just leave the bomb to explode. I don’t have boosters, but if I did I would have smacked that darn bomb with a hammer.
3 days and counting! Cant even get close with full space dash! Ok king show Granma the way

Is this level even possible any more? I don't have the gumball machine at the top that releases eggs and down below, where the popcorn would be, are black squares with a swirl (same concept so not as concerned by this). I can sometimes get the cakes to clear, but it's the jelly underneath I can't get in the amount of time. Fish only go after the licorice. This is the same on the app and on my PC (through FB)
How do the jelly on the bottom get cleared? There aren’t any colors to match.

PFL, insanely boring and frustrating
I have come very close to finishing, but refuse to spend any more $$$ at the moment to complete.
HOWEVER - has anyone else noticed this issue with the pies: This has happened TWICE to me now on this level. When the fish go to bite the pie, they actually put pieces of pie BACK on the pie. In other words, I had a pie with a piece gone, the fish came over, and when it bit, I had a whole pie again. What is up with that? So rude!
Anyway, I'll get it. The best luck is for 2 colorbombs, but even with that, I've come very close, but no luck.

I've been on this game for 8 days now, several times a day using pc, laptop, and phone, and I can't get anywhere near clearing the board. I keep waiting for the lucky board, but it doesn't come. So frustrating.

This game is completely different to the one you are showing. Nevertheless, important to pass with only 15 moves. Another impossible game I have been stuck on for 9days. LUCKY BOARD PLEASE, LUCKY BOARD PLEASE. I cannot see how to get through this game without a LUCKY BOARD.

Completely different board now. Only 15 moves and only one cake in the top part. No conveyor. Have to use stripes to get the jellies in the bottom section. Ridiculous with the limited amount of moves.

This is the most ridiculous board it's nightmarishly but only 15 moves, lol are you having a big laugh, this game is getting worse every day I play, please give me some more moves. I get loads of moves sometimes for an easy level but this level is rubbish time to quit

Seriously? Even if you manage to clear the cake (which seems impossible) you will not get through the two layers of jelly at the bottom of the board...and 15 moves? come on!
The lucky board didn’t come. With 15 moves simply not enough can be done without purchasing gold bars for extra moves, so ok king you won, i don’t want to ‘cheat’ by purchasing so i’m outta here, sad to go but it’s bye not buy 🤷🏻♀️😞.
Go on CC with levels nightmare with a few moves. You won’t win this cause it’s your strategy to force players to buy. Not my strategy. Strange to notice that most players say goodbye CC.

Not enough moves to clear this level and the seven levels next. Buying is not an option. Took me years, not an option to get on playing.
Seems that I never get this level. 14 moves is impossible and I can’t BUY. Only option is to play other games.
CC is the only game which force players to buy. They make levels impossible with a few moves to destroy 70 or hundred jelly.
As long as cc has all strategy in all difficult levels, there will no any room for players to get this or any levels afterwards to get it. For cc count one thing. Buy, buy.buy! NO THANKS! I don’t have money to spent. That’s why I am focus on other games.

Seems to pass 7 nightmare levels you have to buy a lot of extra boosters or moves. How about players who can’t buy???? Seems they look for another, not king, game.
