Hints and tips showing how to pass level 6229 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: I'm not sure that this level is possible without boosters as it has been made much harder since it was launched by the addition of fast growing chocolate.
As with all jelly levels you are going to need some powerful combos to have any chance of clearing the level. I would suggest using free boosters from the bot if you have it, or at least a fish booster if you can. The video below is made using boosters and is the only one available at the time of writing.

You're absolutely right. it's impossible without boosters!
This level should be labeled RIDICULOUS HARD, even with booster! Very limited moves, with chocolate taking over INSTANTLY!
This level is impossible! I have started off numerous times with a dbl cb as well as fish booster and I haven’t even gotten close. You just have to take the moves given to you and after just a fe moves the chocolate takes over - every thing is down hill from then! If at all possible I need help!

Played a few old levels to fill the spaceship (or whatever it is now), and used a hand switch plus two lollipops to finish. Finally!

Yes, the chocolate is fast growing and it’s hard to hit the fish in the corners. I need more boosters. I need luck. I need a miracle.
Well, I got my miracle. Started with 2 fish, a color bomb, and striped & wrap. First move was a color bomb on a stripe. This opened up the board enough to actually play and keep the chocolate under control. I also think the two fish were an amazing help. Glad to pass this level which was harder than some nightmarishly hard levels. Happy crushing.

Well the bot went away so I’m hoping that it means they will reset it back to the way it used to be, buildable via old levels, to keep everyone actually enjoying and playing the game. Til that happens, I won’t be passing this level. I will have to quit if they don’t fix it.
There are so many angry ppl commenting on facebook, and they haven’t posted since Feb 27....they know they need to do SOMETHING. People dislike F5 as well. I don’t mind it so much as my current teammates seem to be pretty helpful.
Started with color bomb wrap combo and a fish booster and it cleared all the chocolate. Once it was gone it didn’t spawn any more. Finished in 10 moves
After a zillion try’s the lucky board appeared and bam...done. Still shocked. Happy. Moving on.

This level is so stupid AGAIN you need lucky board not skill and the demo doesn’t have chocolate. Such crap.

Here is the strategy that worked for me: The key is to get rid of the chocolate. As you start, concentrate on hitting one side, then the other, as much as possible. Left, right, left, right... You will force reshuffling as much as possible, which helps. And release as many fish as possible. Once the chocolate is destroyed, the rest is much easier.

This is weird. This is the level that shows up when playing 6228, not 6229. It is ridiculously hard, probably impossible without King's assistance...

I’m finally so disgusted with King that I am considering quitting for good. There is absolutely no skill involved. Usually there is only one move to make each time and even then the move is not beneficial. I liked the game much better when you could win on skill and not boosters! King just wants our money!

What an awful game! As if shape of the board wasn’t enough, there’s relentless chocolate and Liquorice preventing you from clearing anything. I’ve been stuck for days and do you know what? I’ve got to the point that it doesn’t even bother me so perhaps I can finally be cured of my pitiful addiction.

I did this with no boosters believe it or not. It's a beast level for sure. However I did use a hand switch. I created one color bomb and was able to use it with a wrapped candy. Took me about 30 tries. Good luck.

Can't stand playing this with the stupid Kardashian face showing up. Think I'll just keep playing on my old machine that doesn't get the updates so i don't have to put up with such juvenile nonsense.

Movimentos reduzidos e dificuldade aumentada, isto é justo??? A cada nível os desenvolvedores do CC se superam em imbecilidade. Meu conselho para este nível é não usar e não comprar reforços, é isto que eles querem que você faça, melhor opção é deletar o CC. Adeus, sorte para quem fica.
De todos os níveis que já joguei este é o mais idiota. Queria saber quem foi o imbecil que projetou este nível. É um débil. Só tem uma opção de movimento e inútil. Depois embaralha, e assim vai até que terminam os movimentos. Isto não é um jogo, é uma farsa. Quadrilha de estelionatários.
Este jogo é muito idiota. O jogador não pode fazer nada, apenas o que o programa permite. Isto é pior que um cassino. Não vou desperdiçar mais meu tempo aqui. Existem jogos melhores, inteligentes e honestos.

This game is totally un doable, I have used countless boosters and still not getting any where near finishing. Every time I get near to getting some kind of rewards I lose them due to not being able to pass ridiculous games. I think king wants you to buy your way through these hard ridiculous games, I cant see how that would help any way as I have used every type of booster This game is not fun any more as it takes days and days to pass some of these games.
