Hints and tips showing how to pass level 7278 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 7278 is a jelly level and all the jelly is in the bottom row of the board. You can't clear the jelly using combos as the licorice along the bottom of the main board will block these. You can hit the jelly row using a double colourbomb combo, but this is unlikely to be enough to clear the row completely. The answer to this level is to use fish. There are plenty of fishing floats on the board and hitting them with combos once they are uncovered will give loads of fish which will target the bottom row. You can use the frog once the crystal candies are cleared from the jelly, but don't waste moves on growing it, much better to just make as many combos as possible to hit the floats.

Very difficult. Place the frog close to the floats and combine ccombos whenever possible. Tough level. Good luck everyone 🍀
Can't come close...I have a hard time with games that have so much icing, and have to rely on King for hints. Ugh....PFL
One thing to note about putting the frog on the bottom is that if there is any jelly under it the fish won’t touch it, so best just to use the frog by the floats instead
It shuffled the board with 1 move left. That's when you know the level is flawed in design. Another stupid level to contend with

Thanks for the tips, placing the frog next to the floats was the key, also using combos to get more fish, good luck to all!

Agree, don’t put the frog on the bottom line. You will need a CB to grow it. Put frog near the floats. PFL!
You know what stinks, I had one jelly left at the bottom with 2 moves. I was able to make a move to set off the fish. None of the fish hit the jelly on the bottom. I had to use my last hammer.

after about 50 atempts and 2 days. its a gamme about a lucky board. i finaly passed it with 16 moves left. GOOD LUCK. candy crushers. xxx

Nowadays levels are not checking our playing skills. Instead, it is designed to irritate the players. Pfl.

I don’t understand how anyone can possibly win this game. Even with boosters it’s impossible. No matter how many fish I get it. They don’t even put a dent on clearing the covered blocks.

I dont get any fish except when I hit the floats and those usually only eat useless candies. The frog is also useless because you have to waste so many moves to grow it. After being stuck on level 7272 for three days I was hoping I could get through a few levels without getting another impossible one.

As of mid-morning on December 2nd, 2020, I had a different version on my phone, Kindle, and laptop. Instead of mystery candies, it has a variety of Stripes Under The single licorice X. The Frog seems to grow with less moves, and there are double licorice where the key holes are. The fish will eat at those bottom licorice, as well as the bottom jellies, and help you clear the way for any stripes on the main board to also hit the jellies, once the licorice is cleared. I still have that version on my Kindle and laptop, but not my phone. It seems a bit easier to beat than the one shown, although I'm having trouble with both! LOL!
P.S. Is it a U.S. versus Europe thing? Or just a Midwest thing?... But we call the fishing floats "Bobbers". Lol, again!

they literally changed the game while I was playing it...now they have all stripped candy in the cages instead of "?" candies....
I tried to build the frog, and did a couple of times. However, the fish were the real game changers on this level.
