Hints and tips showing how to pass level 7640 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 7640 is classified as a hard level so you may lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is an orders level, you have to destroy the two spawners to complete the level.
The spawners are locked in the bottom of the board and you need to collect the keys to unlock them, try to clear as many blockers as you can while you are collecting the keys so that you can pop the bubblegum once it is unlocked. The bubblegum is the secret to passing level 7640 because hitting the spawners with combos from above is not an option. The spawners can only be hit from the side because of the licorice fences above them. Wrapped candies are the best candies to use, switch with a colourbomb if you can, but even a wrapped candy on it's own will be helpful. Make as many wraps as you can and keep switching them with every move.

Como acabaram as fases, fui jogar a Série do Telefone, mas só pode estar com defeito a fase 2, como concluir essa fase com apenas 9 movimentos? Ou é palhaçada ou estão querendo acabar com nossos boosters. Deixo aqui minha indignação com isso. Não tem como passar isso

The rapidly expanding bubblegum is a sadistic joke. You can only pass with a very very lucky board that gives you mega-cascades when you're fighting the gum.
But it can be beaten without boosters; be patient, take your time to study each move carefully and pick the best one. Good luck.

Horrible level..by the time you get the keys theres nowhere near enough moves left to get the spawners....pfl as I definitely need it on this one
Hate bomb games. Very frustrating level.
The bombs plus the quickly expanding bubblegum plus the licorice fence and that is after you finally get the keys...IWB..impossible without boosters.. after about 8 or 10 tries finally got almost to the end...opted out with the flying saucer to finally end this nightmare... the bombs should be removed
Very very tough level. Concentration and lots of wraps is the solution. The best is to combine a CB with a wrap but it is not easy to do so. Good luck everyone. See you next wednesday 🍀
It doesn’t matter what I do I can’t get the spawners...worst level for me ever I think,,just can’t get close to passing,,getting so frustrated now
Agreed! Luis is right again, CB/wrap combo is the only tip I can offer though difficult to create with the gum "mutating", after many tries used 1 hammer on the last spawner, hoping it only needed 1 more hit just to end the madness! Eventually passed and I managed to get rid of one spawner and did the same as sunny but I needed 3 hammers to get the other one..I’m 60 attempts I only cleared the left hand spawner 3 times and never did get the right one..worst level for a very long time..
Thank goodness for the space race returning this week! Managed to pass with the extra boosters PLUS bot and still needed a hammer!! Good luck everyone.

Yup, boosters are, few and far between these days!!
I passed this on my 3rd try. Clear all the blockers first before you collect the keys. Once the keys are collected, the spawners are activated and will start filling the board with bumblegum, so it's a race between destroying and creating bubblegum with the spawners. The wraps will be very helpful in destroying the bubblegum, so if there are wraps on the board, prioritize in blowing it before they are converted to bubblegum by the spawners.

Same complaints for every level from EVERYONE Waiting on lucky board. Its obvious the designers don’t care what anyone says.
All they want is for you to use all your boosters, then spend spend spend. Greedy greedy company. Take all the fun away from the players but make sure you empty their wallets as well if they want to keep playing. DISGUSTING
This level is playing different to what I’ve got. I’m not getting any cascades as in the video and the way the video passes this level at the end is beyond believable with one move left. There’s no way in the world ANY PLAYER will get a board like that. Fix this level ASAP

The board was generous and the first spawner was hit enough to ger blasted. But the second needed at least two more hits so I tried the coconut wheel. No luck, it sent wraps far from the spawner 😫😫😫 So don't waste your coconut wheel.
With three moves left, I just got lucky and finished the level.

Hi everyone. I have been playing CC for 8 years. I recently had a connection issue on both my iPad and iPhone which lasted for 3 months!! I was told that the tech ppl were working on the issue. I did not reinstall the game for fear of losing all my hard earned lives, boosters etc. A CC King player relations rep told me to reinstall the game and he would give me back everything if lost. All was lost and now I am told he made a mistake telling me that. I have written several times about this and I believe I am blocked and have no recourse. It is very frustrating and so unfair. Just had to share this story.

Got it on next try. Stacked up a few wraps near the bottom then got to mix a CB + wrap.
Too much of the countdown bombs and white background covers up the colors of the candies making it difficult to see combos! Why can’t they just put the number on the bomb instead of the number on the white circular background?!! Ridiculous waste of time for each move because of this, probably the game ends for me here :-(

SunnyinBuffalo: You don't have to guess how many more hits are needed to clear the spawners. In each corner of the spawner there is a gold hinge. Every time you hit it, one gold hinge disappears. When all four are gone, one more hit and it's cleared. That's a total of 5 hits. Hope this helps.

Now i knew that i only had to hit the last spawner only one more time with a lollypop to finish this horror level.

That is despicable! Did they do anything at all for you? Well obviously not if they've blocked you. Wow they should let you play and fire that guy. It's not like it's costing them anything real LMAO you know what I mean wow I'm horrified by that unfortunately I've had pretty good interaction with anyone on customer support there but wow I feel sorry for you and I hope something good comes of it for you. Don't let up just keep on them.

This is horrid. Made it to the bottom three times then bam bubblegum covers it. Ridiculous. They let you win when they want you to win
The only way I could get that was to wait for a double candy bomb. Which of course appeared out of nowhere. Thanks CC
