Hints and tips showing how to pass level 7689 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie

I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 7689 is a dual task level, you have to collect the cherries and clear the jelly to complete the level. The hardest part of this level is unlocking the cherries, sometimes the keys don't drop in time if you take too long to clear the sides below the key dispensers. For this reason you need to make it a priority to get the keys dropping. Even if you do this you will only have one or two moves to get the cherries to the exits once they are unlocked. Once you get the board opened up it gets much easier to make colourbombs and get cascades going, so you should be able to collect the cherries in the final couple of moves once they are unlocked.

I had the sides totally open with about 10 moves left. Keys never dropped until 2 moves left. Level failed
Something is wrong ! The keys did not fall until really late making this impossible! Help!
Hard to understand.. Keys do not drop. I was very lucky gaining extra moves with the wheel. Not easy. Good luck everyone 🍀

After many tries managed a CB/CB combo that got me thru, good luck!
First time I played the keys dropped with 2 moves left but second time they dropped with 6 moves left. Strange but lucky me I guess.

Glad I came here first. Used a CB and stripe/wrap booster to start and managed to make some extra CB combos through the game.

How can I pass this level when my last key never falls. This is crazy

The solution is to get the keys in the beginning otherwise you can't get a chance and no keys anymore. Good tip Cookie!!!! It took me 3 temps to beat this level without boosters. Good luck!!
Only had 2 moves left when last key fell. Got it on that move. Thinking I was going to fail, but suddenly cascades started and got it all done for me.
You need 5 keys and it seems that you need 4 moves under the dispensers between keys dropping. I got first key with 19 moves, second with 15 moves, third key with 11 moves, fourth with 7 moves and fifth with 3 moves, but I had sorta left a mess on that bottom row so didn't pass because I still needed one crystal cleared and one cherry to drop. At one point I had three keys on the board at the same time, so you do not need to clear keys to get the next one, just keep those side columns cleared and moving so keys keep dropping every four moves is priority, but must look every where on board to make sure you are clearning jelly or crystal and making chocolate bombs or other boosters if possible to better clear keys and jelly. Be methodical, if you got this far, you can clear this without a "lucky board".
Started with pkt/stripe combo which helped getting the sides started. Yep every 5 moves a key will drop but you must keep working on the sides. I had 3 moves to finish off the jelly and get the fruit down but had lots of cascades.

so here we are mid November and still problems with keys failing to fall. Need a lucky board I suppose
Here we have the latest level of criminal sadism that the Kings idlers have invented to steal more money from people. The keys do not drop, or rather, the last appears when there is only one move left. It follows, from this, that any attempt is doomed to fail without buying extra moves. Poor Kings! I would recommend them a good collective psychiatric session and then I would kick them until their asses turn purple, because after having stolen billions from CC players, they still want money, money and more money. As for me, I'm done, I'm disgusted by this madness of these parasites of society. The fact that I got this far without paying a dollar makes me happy, but at the same time I feel an infinite disgust for the inventors of this beautiful game, because they have reduced it to a stupid method of stealing, stealing, stealing!
Four times in a row the last key dropped with only one move left but on the last go there was a major cascade which took all the cherries down. Try get a Colourbomb / Wrap as early as possible to get the board open.

King you are nothing but a common thief. Feb. Is more than half over and the last key falls on tne 2nd to last move. It still takes 4 hits to get rid of the last 2 jellies. Guess what? I am easier to get the hell out of here than it is to get the last 2 jellies.

QUESTION…do I have to clear each side completely from top to bottom b4 a key will drop? I don’t understand why some bloggers say make 4 moves before a key drops…I’ve made several and nothing happens!! Please just let me pass this level!!
Well after posting above and several tries I just kept going from side to side, and eventually I collected the keys - somehow they went straight out the bottom…
Maybe King changed the level but I finished with more than 10 moves left.🍀
P.S. I had a full bot to start but used no in-game boosters.
