Hints and tips showing how to pass level 7940 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
The best way to clear the middle part of the board to collect the cherries is to use stripe/wrap combos if you can make them. Don't worry about too much about the rainbow twists, they will be cleared as you work on the rest of the board.

Tips: Level 7940 is a dual task level, you have to collect the cherries and clear the jelly to complete the level. The cherries drop from the dispensers in the bottom left section of the board when there is space for them to drop out. This means you need to use combos to clear the crystal candies and open up the bottom part of the board. The stripes and fish dropping from the top of the board can be switched to give 3 stripes each time. Any other combo will be useful but it is vital that you get candies into the bottom section of the board quickly so that you can get it cleared and get the cherries onto the board.

Reduced to 24 moves. Proving to be very difficult
Another level reduced number of moves and I am stuck waiting for a lucky board because it is impossible without boosters!
Wow! I got down to needed 23 clear spaces and some are still covered in chocolate. I would probably need twice as many moves than provided!
Eventually got the lucky board needed. Color bomb wrap combo worked. Wait till you get to 7945. Save your boosters and lucky posts for that one you’re gonna need them
Difficult. A CB with a wrap in the bottom part of the board makes the job but it’s not easy to get that combination. Good luck everyone. See you in the next episode.

Making fish/stripe combos in top left helped, also managed a CB/wrap late, perhaps a lucky board as well, good luck in the 3rd everyone!
That was difficult even with boosters. The fish/stripe combos help but other combos needed to get past this.
Classified as a Hard Level on my devices.
Does this happen to anyone else....I get down to needing to clear say less than 10 and not offered a free spin. But on the very next try when I still need 30 + I get offed a chance to get extra moves. Next try down to clear maybe 7 and not offered a try at extra moves. So it's another level I need to POST FOR LUCK as I have no extra boosters except one saucer and I won't use that yet.

I said in the previous level... and I repeat here: impossible!!! Ridiculous!!! Crap!!! What do these kings want? I told them in every language I can speak that I SHALL NEEEEEVEEEER PAY!!!!! We are here at the top of stupidity, and they also reduce the number of moves!!!!!!!!! Idiots...

Well this was bulls×$@..i had to use 2 ufo!! Only needed 3 cleared to win and only put 1 of the wraps where i needed it!! They just don't want you to win without paying..i didn't pay but my boosters are wiped out!
Before Activision bought them out King would put exactly where you needed them!!

I really don’t want to agree with Ian but this is really starting to get boring.
Using any booster is a complete waste of time since they are covered and you likely won't get to use them. Extra moves are definitely required for this level. Unfortunately moves have been reduced yet again which is a huge disadvantage for players who do not get the same moves as those players who have previously passed this level.

Com os movimentos agora disponíveis se não fizer dois ou três CB em, no máximo, 8 movimentos pode desistir porque não terá resultado algum. Este nível foi projetado para retirar suas vidas e reforços. Não comprem reforços ou movimentos extras eles não serão úteis.
O nível foi totalmente modificado, as "dicas" deste blog e todos os vídeos postados agora são completamente inúteis. Na verdade este "novo formato" do nível não tem nenhuma possibilidade de ser concluído. A intenção é reter os jogadores com o objetivo de realizar vendas, resumo: tudo agora aqui é DINHEIRO!!$$$$ Uma verdadeira farsa.

That video is not my game. Useless. Not making a dent. Poorly thought out episode. Dislike. Disadvantages for us versus the people before w the different game that passed. Frustrating. Lucky board please Boosters do not help. Maybe UFO if you have any.

This is the first level I have been on that cannot be passed without spending money. The game no longer offers extra moves, free spins, etc. interestingly, when I switched to playing on my iPad instead of my iPhone, the first game I played had 36 moves, (I still didn't pass the level), then switched back to 23 moves. It had been 3 weeks now and I can't even come close. Perhaps it is time to finally quit Candy Crush.
The level is very different now than it was originally. I’ve been stuck on it for days and only once did I get remotely close. Now after a few hours away, the level is called “Legendary Level” with flames and Tiffi dressed as a firefighter. Does King think I’m going to enjoy spending the rest of my life on this level knowing if I do manage to pass it I’m “legendary”?!?
I’ve tried on multiple devices and it’s basically impossible.
