Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8390 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8390 is classified as a nightmarishly hard level so you are likely to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a dual task level, you have to collect the cherries and clear the jelly to complete the level. You will need to make some powerful combos to complete this level, colourbomb combos are best, but stripe/wrap combos will also be helpful. The spawners make the level tricky as they will spawn sugar coats which will slow down the clearing of the jelly. You need to destroy the spawners but your combos will do this as you work your way down the board. Try to work close to the bottom of the board if you can as this will create mini cascades and help to keep the spawners under control as you are working on destroying them. This is an extremely hard level and I have not been able to complete it without boosters. The video below is completed using one lolly hammer.

Really? 62 comments, and no one....not even Cookie.... has any suggestions about how to beat this level. Just a blatant money grab. The test of whether or not you are willing to wait for a lucky board... or pay, pay, pay. Where is the strategy? So impossible and hopeless I’m not even tempted to buy any boosters. Sad.

It says above that you can’t destroy the spawners so you will have to work around them. However, there are jellies under the spawners so you have to destroy them to get the jellies. I can destroy the spawners but not all of them because I don’t have enough moves, but nothing a lucky board couldn’t fix!

I am one who will buy moves if l see there is a possibility that the few extra will get me out of a level. This is one of those boards where it won’t matter how many extra moves you have. Again, these guys are expert in making incredibly boring levels. You would think they would be smart enough to get the player ‘close’. But that is not the case here.

I am totally freaked out to even try this highly dastardly level where long-time players have had enough...and to get this during the cup challenge. Who needs this kind of welcome? This is most trickery level. Most unapologetically unfair gamesmanship from King. Terribly cruel.😱

I promise, this level isn’t as impossible as you may think! I read these comments looking for advice, (got none) and my next try was the lucky board. I’ve only been playing 8390 for 30 minutes probably. I did manage a lot of combos to help clear those nasty spawners, and finally finished off the game with that frisbee thing and a hammer! Done. You can do it, keep trying! Maybe try it on another device, that helps me often, switching from the iPhone to the iPad!
I'm getting really fed up with this game, spend over a week getting through these difficult games and when you come to the end of the group you put in the most HORRENDOUS game stopping you from getting in to the next group. Why do you keep doing this, you have literally taken the fun out if the game. I finally passed this level by using a party bomb thing toward the end. (It was the only boosters had.) Definitely work from the bottom of the board when possible. You need a lucky board, work from the bottom and use a booster if you have one. I think that's the only way to beat this ridiculous level. Gofod luck!
This level is absolutely ridiculous. Every time you get close to getting anywhere the spawners still spawn those rainbow twists. It’s 2 steps forward and 10 steps backwards. King must fix this level
Not possible without a purchase. That is their whole plan. I have enough gold bars to purchase extra moves - and they offer me 255 moves if I just spend those gold bars. Lol. Proves that they require a purchase. Those gold bars should be mine to use as I see fit. I shouldn't be forced to use them. I try to play every level like I don't have boosters. I want to see if the levels can be passed without help. Not possible on this one. So...I will play when I have time. But guess what King - I can be as stubborn as you are. Your games are fun when they are not stupid.
