Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8407 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8407 is an ingredients level, you have to collect one cherry to complete the level. All you really need to do is keep the bombs under control until the keys have travelled around to match with each other and unlock the exits in the bottom left. You can clear some of the blockers on the left as you are waiting for the keys to be collected. You can use a double colourbomb combo, but there's no need unless you are losing control of the bombs.
UPDATE: The moves have been reduced to 23 and the only way to collect the keys now to release the cherry is to make a double colourbomb combo and use it once the sugar coats are cleared from the bottom keys.

There is a bug. Moves reduced to 28. These are not enough for the keys to reach each other. One move too less. Posting for help.

With only 28 moves, the only way to win is to use a double color bomb to remove one of the coats on the keys.
Glitch is still not fixed. Ridiculous!!
I got very lucky here, and got 2 chocolate balls next to each other. this cleared it, but i 100% agree. a bug is there, and it was very frustrating.
You have to buy extra moves.

After reading the above I focused on getting two color balls side by side. There are no blockers so it’s easier than you’d think. Once I had them I waited for the second yellow triple before switching the color balls.

The secret to this level is to switch 2 x colourbombs. A couple of tries & you will do it.

Wow! Thank you so much for the color bomb tip: I had to use the hand switch to get them together, than a hammer on my last move to free the cherry. Without your tip, I never would have figured it out.

Unfair level. I finally got it by luckily getting 2 colorbombs together. That got the keys. Then I had to use 2 hammers to break 2 blockers so the cherry could drop.

No Bug in this level. You need to combine two colour bombs and that clears the board. I did two x two colour bombs and passed the level with 6 moves left

I started this level with 23 moves, I need 2 colour bomb matches to complete it. I finished with 2 moves left. My recommendation is to ignore everything on the board and just try to make two colour bombs next to eachother. Once i went in with that as my strategy, I finished on my second attempt. Good luck!

All the comments to get 2 colour bombs.. it didn't work. 2 of the keys are locked in so apparently you need 4 colour bombs.

I managed to complete this quite quickly with just the one double colour bomb combo. Lots of horizontal boosters too. But, if you thought this was difficult and was considering giving up on Candy Crush, wait til you see the very next level, 8408.

I know we're in the 8000s so can't expect easy levels to be really easy, but this was a frightful level! I ended up using two hand switches and 10 gold bars for extra moves - ugh! Colourbombs the only way to get through.

Read all the comments and there are definitely not enough moves. Need CB/CB combo obviously but its way too hard on the eyes to get them together. Need lots of luck and patience on this one.

Reducing the moves from 45 in the video to 23 is unfair.
Eventually managed to get two colour bombs together and waited for the second key to come down and clear the last sugar coat. Then I used the coconut wheel but that didn't clear all the blockers so I had to use two hammers to get the cherry off.

As noted above, keep the bombs under control while you work to make CB/CB combos twice. By reducing the moves, it is no longer possible to get the 3 keys together. Shame on you, King.

Another "wait for a lucky board" level, you need 2 if not 3 double colour bombs to get this level cleared, finally got the keys and then used the coconut wheel but still wasn't enough to get the cherry, classic tactic from CC to get you to spend money on extra moves

I just got on this level last night. I rarely look to the internet for help on this game but it sucks. Good luck to everyone else. I'll keep playing until I get that double color bomb cuz that looks like the only way to beat this.

Absolutely ridiculous level
I made a double color bomb fairly early in the game and used it right away. Then kept working on the sugar blockers on the side with stripes and the coconut wheel. It was not difficult if you get that double color bomb. Hammers would have been useful, but I had used all my gold bars and hammers in the first several tries before I just worked on the pair of color bombs. Not that getting them is easy, but it is doable.

Makes no sense. I clear the jellies and can’t get to the keys. Need a miracle board. I’ve watched the video and can’t figure how to get to the keys.
Cleared everything a few times and can nothing. So I read here. So now you just wait for a Board where you can get a double candy. That’s so stupid and so rigged and king wants your money. Worst level and I am starting to really really hate this game. It’s def not strategy based or skill based anymore. It is written so you can’t pass until they say so. Creepy
Oh and let’s add in that I won my levels so had full boosters for 20 min a level that absolutely doesn’t require them. That’s bullshit

Impossible level, you cannot get two colour bombs together, tried extra colour bombs and boosters, no chance wasted so many extra lives and boosters, waiting for King to give algorithm board to pass and move me on!!!!!!
Unbelievable my first attempt after posting the above I passed with no effort from myself, King passed it for me! Goes to show this game is a fix!
