Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8609 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8609 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a normal jelly level and there is jelly over the whole board so everything has to be cleared to complete the level, including the spawners.
First concentrate on clearing the cakes and also hitting the fishing floats, the fish will target the cakes and help to clear them. Stripe/wrap combos and colourbomb combos will all be helpful and you really need them. You need a bit of luck to get a good start, but once you do get started it will get easier to make the combos needed. The fish will be the most valuable candies, especially at the start until the cakes are cleared.
Don't worry if it seems to be impossible to start with, I played several games where I didn't even manage to clear the first cake, then I got a good start and cleared the level easily. This took 12 attempts.
