Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8674 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8674 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose quite a few lives before you manage to pass it. In fact at the time of witing I believe that this level is not passable without boosters. I found that I came closest to clearing it by working mostly in the bottom left section.
Stripe/wrap combos can be most useful if you can make them, but colourbomb combos will also help a lot. To clear the candy curls in the bottom right section a stripe/wrap combo from the left usually works well. You can also use stripes from above but you need to break through a lot of licorice to do it this way. The cherries will drop through to the exits once the way below is cleared of licorice and candy curls.

Been on this level most of the day and havnt got close,,.its now offering me 20 extra moves for 10 gold bars but I till dont think I’d pass with all those moves with the boards I’ve had,,..20 extra moves and a couple of ufos might just do the trick here...ridiculous level
The only strategy left to me is to win the Space Race and have 6 hours of color bombs and striped/wrapped to start with. Re the first posted comment, I am being offered 35 extra moves for 10 gold bars. I don't think that is enough moves even if I had the bars on hand. Can anyone comment on the movement of the candies on the conveyor belt and any strategy to get the cherries out?
There sometimes isn’t enough licorice being released and other times the bombs get me it’s just so frustrating, not enough moves
Finally passed but had to use 10 gold bars for 35 extra moves..I still needed 10 licorice so used the extra moves to get them..your going to need an extremely favourable board to get this one done
Finally passed after 2 days, here's how I got it, added 1 of each free booster (CB, stripe/wrap & check mark), worked mainly from left side, got several CB/stripe combos, check booster helped with licorice, 1 hammer on last blocker on conveyor, 1 hand to switch out last cherry, breaking candy curls so cherries can drop on conveyor was the hardest part, few boosters left but worth using, perhaps a lucky board as well, good luck, you'll need it!

Passed it with 2 UFOs and 10 extra gold bars. For curiosity played it 4 more times as I had free boosters for 1 hour added the tick booster and was lucky enough to get a double CB combo, managed to pass it with no extra anything after that.
Done on my first try using all the initial boosters, a switch and a hammer. Very hard. Good luck everyone 🍀
To Pinlock, how do you get 35 moves for 10 gold bars, most I've seen is 5 or 10? Thanks
sunny...when i play the same level 20 times or could be 25 times not to sure but each time i fail after that it adds a life each time you play ontop of the 5 lives you could allready buy ..i played it that much i got to 30 extra lives and i think thats the maximum it goes up to..maybe you never play the same level that much so youve never encountered it but i think most get it if they play the same level over and over..hope that explains it a bit

I passed it by working on the top right until the cherries were as far down as possible. Then, I cleared the licorice and keys by working on the left side,

So, if I don't have 25, 30 or 35 extra gold bars and a ton of boosters I won't pass this ridiculous level?
I’m with you Twins mom. I’m going to be here DAYS at this rate. I have never been offered 25 or 30 extra moves and I’ve played same level for a couple of days over and over again. I get offered 5 moves for 10 bars. I’m not going to BUY any so I’ll be here until I get that lucky board. Only have a few boosters so it’s not worth using them either cause I really don’t think it would make a difference. What I need is the lucky board.

Been at this all day.
Used the boosters Sunny suggested and not even close.
Then I bought 10 gold bars and last cherry left. Did not have a hammer to use. I am tied of buying gold bars to buy boosters.

These levels are just too difficult anymore and I've had it! Paid 9.99 for 12 hours of lives and specials cuz the weather going to stink today and so far I've only managed to pass like 2 levels!! That's ridiculous and i won't spend another dime!! Think I'm over CC!
Still here..guess they want me buy extra moves too!! Not going to happen..I've gotten the cherries 3 times but there are never enough licorice which is bull!!!t

Started with CB/stripe combo. Had the lucky board. Had to use UFO booster cuz I had two blocks remaining on bottom right. The UFO hit both. So happy to have this behind me

I don’t mind hard games, but I do mind greatly when the game is obviously set up to make people pay or give up. I used to buy the pink once a month. I considered it my user fee. But now that they’ve dropped the amount of gold bars you get from buying the pig from 60 to 30 I am no longer going to be buying the pig. I think that probably was the worst move that they have made. Perhaps they should start thinking about having people join Candy Crush instead of frustrating them and conning them into paying.
Ridiculous….if it wasn’t so boring it might not be so bad.

I finally get all the cherries with 5 left. But the liquroice wouldn’t drop.🤬
It must be my lucky day. I am not sure what happened. It didn't seem to be a particularly great board. I had CB and stripe/wrap starting boosters and used two hammers to clear bombs that were down to one. I focused on making horizontal stripes on the right side to fire into rows of licorice and/or blockers on the right. Good luck everyone!

However, I'm SMH to see the makers of the help vids STILL using the 'hints' option in CCS and to actually use the hints it's suggesting MORE than I see when I watch the vid than just what i call 'using your brain'.
