Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8788 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8788 is classified as a hard level so you may lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is an orders level, you have to collect waffles to complete the level.
Concentrate on destroying the spawners at the bottom of the board and by the time this is done you will have collected most of the waffles you need. When the spawners are out of the way you will be able to get combos down to the bottom and use them to fire into the sides to clear the waffles there. The licorice can be a bit tricky when it gets in the way, but once you have destroyed the spawners you can keep it under control a bit more.

Very hard destroying the spawners!! Absolutely, could use more moves!
7 moves less than the video and the board now covered in sugar coats..finding this impossable so far

Adding the check mark booster helped here, as well as, getting to those nasty spawners, good luck
Very hard,not sure why we need the licorice on top of all the other blockers, hard enough without it. Even with double ball not getting close with the limited moves. Good luck.

I come here to find help from Cookie or the comments. But sometimes the comments are so discouraging! Coming back to help: just passed the level without boosters (because I don't have any). After many, many attempts. But I did pass, so it is doable and this level is not as hard as many other levels in the recent past. The strategy is clear: focus on the dispenser in the middle and try to get explosions going to clear the board. Try to get the wraps down, close to the spawners to delete them. Then, focus on those last waffles. The last ones fall on the conveyor belt and appear on top, where it is easy to get them. Good luck!

This is my second day on this level. Still not getting close BORING!!!!! End the contest. I concede, I came in last. Just let me move on.

Posting for luck - not classified as hard on my computer. I keep starting in the middle but haven't had any luck yet!
Not gotten through yet and reluctant to use the so scarce check mark booster - but Zoe your tip of focusing on the middle column is definitely getting me closer, so thank you.
Used a color ball and a tick booster and the game was over with 8 moves left. Everything was blown over with two pairs of wrapped candies and tick boosters turning into waffles. So, even when there were many waffles left in side columns, the game was completed.
Thank you BK Arora for sharing a useful tip that also worked for me. It makes a refreshing change to find someone posting a useful tip rather than just having a moan.

7 fewer moves now and it's a regular level now. First try after posting I was able to watch ads for 6 extra moves and passed! Focused only on the middle and it worked!!! 🥳🎉🥳
