Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8974 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8974 is a jelly level and there is jelly over the main board and the column down the middle. The first job is to grow the frog, once it is grown place it near the top of the licorice filled column to prevent more licorice from dropping. This will stop the licorice from covering the jelly down the middle column. You will be able to clear some of the jelly in the middle column using combos, but the fish from the floats will clear most of it. The coconut wheels bottom right can be used to hit the floats and get fish to clear the jelly.

When I played this level, Cookie's tip was not yet available. I got dismayed by the licorice constantly dropping and covering the jellies in the middle column. On my second try, I grew the frog and place it on top of the middle column to block the licorice (as per Cookie's tip here). At the same time, after placing the frog in the middle column, it releases the coconut wheels on the bottom right which you can roll to the left to hit the bobbers which will release the fish that will clear the jellies. So I passed it on my second try.
