Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8979 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8979 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a jelly level and there is jelly over the whole board so everything has to be cleared to complete the level.
You need to work in the middle section to begin with and you need to look for chances to make combos, especially colourbomb combos. You will get special candies dropping from the top dispensers and if you are lucky you will get some colourbombs dropping. The bubblegum unlocks licorice shells and gives you more colourbombs which can be helpful. There is quite a bit of luck involved in passing this level but you also need to think carefully about your moves. Switching aimlessly and waiting for the lucky board won't work.

I agree with Cookie, you need to play carefully, but 6ou also need a LUCK BOARD....still waiting after 40 tries 😒
What's up with 3 hard levels in a row? People get frustrated when levels get boring because you can't pass them without getting lucky candies or using lots of boosters.

Oh yes! definitely need a lucky, lucky board for this one!
forgot to mention, this super hard level has a pop up every time you lose a game, it offers boosters for sale to help you through!

Used to get 50 levels in one week. The past several levels are hopeless. No idea how to strategize with the boards and crummy drops. Boring.
