Hints and tips showing how to pass level 9104 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 9104 is an order level, you have to collect licorice and caramel squares to complete the level. You will get stripes and wraps dropping from the top of the board and these can be used to unlock and clear the licorice and caramel. Colourbomb combos are also good if you can make them. This is the only strategy to passing this level, combos, combos and more combos.
The level has changed slightly since it was released but it is still possible without boosters, I came within one move of clearing the level in the time I allowed myself so I know it is possible given more time and patience.

Now tried over 100 times and best was 20 items left to clear. Still trying to get me to buy extra moves. Looks like I maxed out at 35 extra moves. Not going to buy.
Lynn K I, too have tried for 2 days on this level and have the gold bars saved, but they are not offering me any additional moves to continue. I am playing on 3 devices - :(
I seriously think this the longest I have spent on a level. I cannot even get close to winning...give it up?....it is certainly getting close to that...
Day 2 playing this stupid level and it's really getting frustrating 😒
The boosters only get one licorice at a time, so there a just not enough moves to get everything.

Who the hell wants to keep playing the same level over and over and over again....? I can see a lot of loyal followers of Crush just hanging it up....and I could possibly be one of them....this is ridiculous!
Totally waste of time! Got down to just 7 liquorice twice and not even 7 left on the board! Getting so frustrated with this level. Only ever get free moves when impossible to pass level. Ready to give up. Never paid for extra moves but even if I did consider buying any,I still don't believe this level could be passed!!!

Have tried level 9104 for 3+ days. Cannot get close to passing. Used up boosters, read and watched everything I could find. No help. My level has WAY more obstacles than those in videos I've watched. I enjoy being challenged but this is not fun anymore.
Every one I Know has now quit this game! Way to go King!

Here is what worked for me. Attacking down the middle with striped and wrapped combos seems obvious, but mathematically cannot work.
1. You need to make color bomb - wrapped candy combos. Striped candies just slow you down, you need wrapped.
2. It is a lot easier to make color bomb - wrapped candy combos if you ignore what seems to be the correct strategy, attacking down the middle, and clear out the sides (especially if you can use wrapped candies to clear out the sides).
3. By clearing out the sides, you have more room for wrapped candies and color bombs to form or be formed.
4. And you need some luck.
I've passed it!!!! Don't ask me how as I didn't do anything different to what I have been doing over the last couple of days. Must have decided to give me a lucky board at last. Good luck everyone, you certainly need it with this one! Still cannot believe it. I was ready to give up.
Moves reduced,no luck whatever, very boring. as someone already said that the liquorice only goes down one at a time, so must have changed since I started it a million years ago as in the past all the liquorice went and I thought I had lost it all, but more came back. So how that happened and why I can't do it again is a mystery so it is obviously different and a very lucky board needed to pass this awful level
It's NOT easy to make wrapped candies or colorbombs, much less put them together!!
I have NEVER, EVER, played a level this long, with or without boosters, without eventually getting a lucky board, I'm thinking this one may be the first 🤔
Just about done wasn't anymore time on this stupid game!
Day 3 and over 200 attempts on 3 different devices. Just got close. 8 licorice and 4 squares. Of course no free wheel for extra moves unless there is no chance of making it. I’ve never spent more than a day on a level and this one isn’t even classified as hard. Getting ready to delete candy crush and go to one of my other games.

I can't remember a level took me this long! About 5 days and 100+ attempts. Just keep playing and you will be lucky... one day. Did use boosters at the start, not in the game. I have noticed that if you play 5 times a level, at your last life you have the most chances to get through. So start the last one with boosters. Got one combi colorbomb, and made a lot of striped/wrapped combies in the first center rows. You got this far, don't give up. This will pass too. Good luck!
So, how many more levels, like this ridiculous/ unbelievable hard, unable to complete, will eliminate faithful players??? Four,or five days is UNACCEPTABLE!
Now 85 Carmel needed, 35 licorice and 35 moves and most of the Carmel is locked in licorice. Closest I have come is to need 10 more licorice. Why oh why does King do this?
When so many comments, I know, it's going to be hard, very hard. I spent the whole day, dozens of tries, and not even close. This whole episode is pure pain with almost every level required repeated attempts. So tired of this game.

Spent 3 days on this level, down to 7, so used my only UFO to finish. Resulting candies didn’t come close to the remaining 7. I’m calling shenanigans on King!

I’m pretty sure that Dennis Doverspike’s tip (4/11 above) is the way to go. He suggests doing something counter-intuitive. Instead of hitting combos down the middle, work on clearing the sides. I won on my 11th try using his method. Maybe I finally had a very lucky board too. But I consistently got better results even before passing with his tip. Thanks Dennis! Good luck all.

Trouble is that there are relatively few players who are above level 9000. From King's point of view, the cost of alienating players who are unwilling to buy substantial numbers of boosters is outweighed by those who are determined to move on whatever the cost. This is King's current business model. I expect that this model is on its last legs. When King decides that it cannot at least break even on the cost of designing new levels, then the long story of Candy Crush Saga will come to an end.

Moves are reduced from 40 to 32 based on expert players
Caramel or waffles are increased from 35 to 66
And licorice curls are increased
The stripe and wrap spawners are dispensing stripes and wraps every 3 moves in the video posted
On mobile iOS I am lucky to get maybe 2 each round of play
