Hints and tips showing how to pass level 9409 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 9409 is an ingredients level, you have to collect all the cherries to complete the level. The cherries need to drop down to the bottom of the outer columns, through the portals to the top section and then down to the exits in the top section of the board.
Use the frog to help clear the licorice curls between the cherries, you can place it on the caramels in the top section of the board to clear the licorice curls between the top cherries. To regrow the frog quickly make a match beside the colourbomb bonbons using the same colour candies as the frog, this will regrow the frog in one move. You may not be able to control the colourbomb bonbons every time, but the more you can control them the better chance you will have to use the frog where you need it.

horrible level, I'm surprised at so few comments, I do need that lucky board please!
I don’t even understand how you’re supposed to break all those candy curls ( with the amount of moves we have) with the frog you lose a turn every single time otherwise they just don’t break without the frog! Just another time wasting level, waiting until king dictates when you win or not.
Had free boosters from a competition I won and still can't complete. Lucky board required I think.

The frog clears the curls and the caramel, but then getting the cherries to drop in to the top area, and down there to the exits is very difficult. The frog ends up blocking the way if you're not careful to place it in just the right spot. I'm being offered 26 extra moves now, and I'm resisting but the whole thing is very frustrating.

Classified as a Nightmarishly Hard Level on my devices
I was lucky to be able to use a hand switch to put 2 CB's together. That took care of the licorice curls in the first move. I found the coconut wheel very useful, especially when trying to get the cherries down the exits. As for the frog, I placed it right under the stripes dispenser(s) near the exits ... waiting for the right moment for the cherries to be in the right position so that they will exit. I never used the frog in the upper level except when trying to get the caramels earlier in the game. Good luck!

There seems to be a little secret in this game. On the board at top, next to second cherry down, the Carmel thing next to to, use a frog to get rid of it, and the same on the other side of board. Does wonders for the game. Good luck.

After 5 days and huge frustration I found the secret! Feed the frog as soon as you can. Then place it top left 2squares in, 2 squares down. That releases top gummies. Feed again and repeat right. Feed again repeat by bottom gummy left then right. Feed again, repeat by higher gummies left and right. Now all can flow down both columns into top centre where you can target and release. Phew what a nightmare level
