Hints and tips showing how to pass level 9797 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 9797 is an order level, you have to collect cherries and rainbow rapids to complete the level. To begin with try to collect the keys in as few moves as possible to unlock the sides of the board. Once the board is unlocked you need to clear all the caramels to allow the cherries to drop down to the exits. The rapids will be collected as you work on collecting the cherries.
Wrapped candies and stripe/wrap combos are good for clearing the caramels, also you can use colourbomb combos. Anything that will clear caramels will help to complete the level.

There is a substantial difference between the Johnny Crush version of the game as linked to above and that which is currently provided by the developers. It is difficult to make a meaningful comparison except to note that as usual Johnny Crush has been privileged to play a much easier version.
By the way. One of many differences from the Johnny Crush version is the presence of caramel along the bottom line of the board. All that caramel has to cleared to allow the last rainbow rapid to flow. If you are inclined to use a booster, a coconut wheel is probably your best bet.
