Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8960 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie

Level 8960 Candy Crush Saga is a rainbow rapids level, you have to clear the way for the rapids to complete the level.
First have a good look at the board and you will see there are colour locks in the bottom half and you will open them in order to unlock the remaining rows at the bottom of the board. The first locks will be opened by collecting red candies, then move to the left side and collect yellow candies. Then you'll need to collect waffles and licorice which drop from the top of the board to unlock the next rows.
All the time you are working on the colour locks you should be looking for chances to make stripes and wraps to unlock the final rows. You will get some stripes and wraps dropping from the top of the board but there are unlikely to be enough to open up the bottom rows of the board.
As you are opening the locks you will need to clear all the blockers so that the rapids can find their way to the exits.
