Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3418 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You need a fair amount of luck as well as very careful planning to complete level 3418 Candy Crush Saga. There is a lot of jelly to clear but this isn't the biggest problem. The big problem is getting past the bombs. The bombs have a 12 move countdown and are all locked in Marmalade to begin with so they have to be unlocked and cleared within the first 12 moves. To make matters even harder the bombs are trapped inside candy cane fences so they can't be matched, they have to be hit with combos.
This level can only be passed using colourbomb combos, from the start you need to be looking for chances to make colourbombs and when you get one don't be tempted to switch it too early, try to get a stripe or a wrap beside it if you can. A second colourbomb is also good, but to begin with this will only unlock the bombs that are in the marmalade, it won't clear them so it is better to use a stripe or wrap with a colourbomb to begin with. Once the bombs are free of the marmalade you can use a double colourbomb combo to clear the bombs.
Clearing the first lot of bombs is not the end of them, more will drop so you will have to keep an eye on them as the bombs are more likely to kill your game than running out of moves.
Keep making colourbombs and you should be able to clear the jelly. The video below was completed in 23 moves so if the moves are reduced in the future it should still be helpful.
