Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4040 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4040 is an ingredients level, you have to collect three cherries to complete the level.
The exits are at the bottom of the board so this is where the way needs to be cleared, all the other things such as the popcorns and bombs on the right, are distractions. Obviously you have to make sure the bombs are cleared before the count down unless you can collect the ingredients before this.
Wrapped candies are the best way to clear the locked licorice and if you can switch two of them together better still. Use the conveyor to get the wrapped candies into the best position to do the most damage to the locked candies and popcorns.
Colourbombs can be used to clear the bombs and switch with a wrapped candy if you can. Stripes can be useful, but they are blocked by licorice so are less helpful than wraps when there is licorice in the way.
