You need to clear the spawner in the middle as quickly as possible and using combos will be better than simply trying to make matches beside it. Combos will help clear the jelly and bombs at the same time. It can be an advantage if the board shuffles near the start of the game as this can bring the bombs out of the corners and you can clear them more easily.
As with all jelly levels the best way to clear the jelly is by using combos, especially colourbomb combos, and blast away at everything.
