Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1290 Candy Crush Saga without boosters.You will need to use the frog which is hiding in the chocolate, so first you need sideways stripes or stripe/wrap combos to release him from the chocolate so you can feed him.
The frog will be used to clear the jelly on the top left squares as you can't get to it any other way.
A colour bomb switched with the frog colour will grow him fastest, and a colour bomb/stripe combo will clear a fair amount of chocolate as long as there are enough candies the same colour as the stripe on the board.

This level is all about clearing licorice. That is all you have to do. Easy! Not!
You will have to start on the right and make every move count, hit some licorice! As soon as you can make moves on the left go there and start clearing licorice, make combos whenever possible. Wrapped candies are especially good for clearing licorice and if you can switch 2 together better still.
Once you have candies in the right side start working there to get the fruit down, any combo will do or simply matches of 3 if nothing better is available. Keep checking the whole board in case the stripe you need is there and you don't want to miss it.

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1288 Candy Crush Saga without boosters.
Try to get to the mystery candies as quickly as possible and with luck they will give you the combos you will need to unlock and clear the chocolate at the bottom.
Once the chocolate is gone it won't come back so you can concentrate on clearing the jelly.
The combos will also grow the popcorn in the middle to give you a colour bomb.
This can be quite a fun level once you get to the mystery candies with lots of cascades and colour bombs appearing.

This level has been made harder and here is the latest video from YT with 12 moves made without boosters.
