You don't need to remove the Evil Spawner from the middle of the board and sometimes it's best if you don't.
The only time I managed to get it to explode, the fruit went down into the space it left and got stuck.
What you do need to do is keep the fruit moving. The fruit will slip out diagonally when you make matches under the left or right sides of the middle section.
Once the fruit is out of the middle section the sooner you get it off the board the better as the next fruit will fall down as soon as one leaves the exits.
You will need to keep making stripes and stripe/wrap combos and get them on the conveyor so you can fire them into the top part and keep it from getting blocked by the cream blockers from the spawner.
If you know that the spawner is ready to self destruct, ie. you have hit it 4 times and are about to hit it again, make sure you have a fruit in the bottom part of the board so a new one doesn't fall down and get stuck in the space left by the spawner.
