You have to get 40,000 points in only 18 moves and the board is tied up pretty tightly to begin with.
The Evil Spawners are locked to begin with, so they can't spawn until you unlock them, but this is unavoidable as there are stripes in the middle of the board and you will need to use combos to get the score you need, which will unlock the spawners.
Once unlocked you really need to destroy as many of the spawners as you can because once they begin spawning the chocolate it will very quickly take over the board and leave you without moves.
Getting the score shouldn't be too much of a problem, the tricky part is keeping the game going until all the moves are used up without the chocolate taking over.

Level 1831 is classified as a hard level and you can expect to lose quite a few lives before you pass it unless you are very lucky.
First of all stop and look carefully at the board before you make a single move. Your aim in the first few moves has to be to open up the board in any way possible.
A colour bomb/stripe combo will do a good job and will also hit some of the blockers you need too.
Wrapped candies are very easy to make on this level, but apart from opening up the board at the start they are not much good to you unless switched with a stripe to clear some of the blockers.
Colour bomb/stripe combos are the secret to passing level 1831. You will need several of these to clear the blockers.
Once you have some candies in the bottom you can try a colour bomb with a wrap, or even alone if you have enough moves left. Just keep looking for those colour bombs with every move, nothing else will do the job as well.
Stripe/wrap combos can be really helpful if you can get them down into the middle column, which I managed to do a couple of times in the video below.
You could try a double colour bomb combo if you get one, although I have not found that particular combo to be the winning move.

Get 175,000 points in 30 moves!
The first priority is to open up the board and clear the bombs before they count down to zero.
Work your way down to the bottom of the board to give yourself a better chance of making colour bombs and other special candies. Think carefully before you use the any colour bombs, which colour will do the most good by clearing bombs, or giving more chances to make more colour bombs.
