Level 1870 can be a very frustrating level and you need some luck at the start to get going.
You get three matches to begin with and often there are no further moves, even after the shuffle, so it's game over before you even get started.
However once you do manage to get moving it gets easier and it is not a hard level to complete.
You have to collect 8 cherries as well as clearing the jelly so you need to keep the cherries moving. You won't get new cherries until you get some off the board.
Once the licorice is cleared you will get some dropping from the dispensers at the sides, but not enough to cause too many problems. 
Level 1870 can be quite a fun level once you get started.

Level 1869 is classified as a hard level, so you can expect to lose a few lives before you pass it. It is also a timed level, but don't panic if you are no good at timed levels, I'm not and I did it so you can too.
You need to make either vertical stripes or colour bombs, the stripes are the easiest to make if you struggle with timed levels so go for those. The conveyor is actually helpful, although it does waste a bit of time while you wait for it to move it also gives you time to look for your next move so use the time to check for stripe and colour bomb patterns. 
If you can get part of the pattern on the conveyor eg. 2 together, then a gap and another 2 together, the conveyor may bring them to the fifth candy to make the colour bomb.
Or 2 together, a gap, then one the same colour and wait for the forth candy to make the stripe.
This sounds simple but while you are waiting for the patterns to come together you still have to keep scoring points and your patterns could be destroyed, but keep trying and eventually it will work.
The stripes will grow the popcorn, which in turn will release the extra time candies onto the board and a colour bomb can be used to collect some of the extra time candies.
Remember though, DON'T collect more time candies than you need, the timer will never go over a minute, so any that take you over that will be wasted.

You have to clear all the blockers to get your orders and the licorice will drop down from the dispensers on the right side of the board once the blockers are removed.
The stripes shouldn't cause you a problem as you only need 6. One colour bomb/stripe combo will give more than enough and it will also clear some of the blockers.
The hardest blocker to hit will be the top right, a stripe fired from the top of the conveyor will get it, even if there is licorice blocking the way it should be above the licorice.
It is easier to get those top blockers first, before you release the rest of the licorice so it doesn't block your moves too much.
