Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1977 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect the 6 yellow candies which you will get from the 6 lucky candies locked in the bottom part of the board.
The best way to unlock and change the lucky candies is with colour bombs, plus there are stripes in the bottom part of the board to help you.
Vertical stripes and stripe/wrap combos will also be helpful both for hitting the lucky candies and also growing the popcorns into colour bombs.
Wrapped candies will grow the popcorns too.
Once you have the yellow candies you are unlikely to be able to collect them with colour bombs unless you are very lucky, so stripes and stripe/wrap combos should do the job.
Use the conveyor to get the specials and combos into position ti hit where you need them.
Look carefully at the board before every move as things change with the conveyor and even if you have the next move planned the conveyor may bring a better combination together.

You have to clear the jelly to complete level 1976, which means all the blockers and popcorns have to be cleared as the jelly is under everything.
Make wraps whenever possible for the best clearance, they will be best for clearing the popcorn. 
Once you begin to clear the popcorn on the right you will get mystery candies falling which can be really helpful, or not, depending on what the turn into.
Level 1976 can be a fun level to play as there are only 4 colours so making combos is quite easy once the board opens up a little.

First get rid of the spawner in the middle of the board, but while you are making matches next to the spawner you can be looking for the stripes and wraps you need to clear the blockers on the left side of the board.
Stripe/wrap combos are the best, these will clear the jelly at the same time as clearing the jelly.
I have tried colour bomb/stripe combos several times and have found them to be a total waste of the colour bomb as the stripes rarely hit the blockers on the left. Better to use the colour bomb on one colour to give you a chance to make more.
A double colour bomb combo is probably the best combo of all.
If you are struggling either a coconut wheel booster of jelly fish booster are helpful
