Candy Crush Saga Level 1212

Hints and tips for level 1212 Candy Crush Saga
This is a fun level, the first for quite a while!
All the wrapped candies you need are on the board at the start, switch two together on the right of the row of wraps, this will uncover some of the colour bombs.
Then use the colour bombs one by one, on whatever candy falls to fill the space. You should get more colour bombs forming in the middle, just keep switching them with a single candy or a wrapped candy if you have one.
Before you have used up the colour bombs you will have all the purple candies you need and will have completed the level. Keep two colour bombs side by side in case you are running out of moves and you can switch them together to hopefully finish the level.

just burst the 2 wrapped candies nearest to locked color bomb. Color bomb will be unlocked. The rest is easy.

There's no frog (I thought there would be given the layout with the frog under the chocolate). However, the way to beat the level is explode the wraps on the top row, and then when a plain candy drops into the right conveyor, detonate two wraps. This reveals the bottom row of colour bombs, which can then be swapped. This leaves four colour bombs left. Then work to make the last needed colour bomb on the main part of the board. Once it is in place, clear the board with a pair of colour bombs. This normally would take care of the purple candies, but if not, there might be enough moves left to get the needed purple candies. If this doesn't work and there are two moves left and still no colour bomb in the main part of the board, set off the remaining colour bombs and hope for the best. I got this level three tries using this approach.

Same here, no frog, only 10 moves, and almost impossible to make another colourbomb.

Thanks for the first post. Worked perfectly, 3 stars with lots of moves left. I didn't need to grow the frog at all.

Third try, four moves left, three stars. No frog on Android.
Lucky, lucky board. Got two chocolate sprinkles right away and they dropped side by side. Set them off, then two more together and after that the remaining purple were easy to get.

No frog on my Apple computer. When I match two wraps together it leaves licorice between the two sprinkle balls. I'm trying to follow advice here, but no luck. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

30 moves? How did you get 30 moves? I get only 10 moves and no frog? I hope King fixes this. I got as far as getting the purple candies and the wraps, but was short by one sprinkle ball.

No frog and only 10 moves on iPad. Also Ended up with the licorice between the colour bombs on the first try and not nearly enough purple candies. Second try, I used a hand switch with the licorice and the colour bomb so I was able to smack them together. Had to make one colour bomb which was no problem, but just squeaked by with the purple candies. 2 stars only, but I'm happy to be done with this. Good luck everyone!

Thanks for winning tip in 1st comment. No frog..must be another Version of this level

So no frog and only 10 moves. I got lucky and the ninth sprinkle ball (they provide eight) created itself and I was able to get through this ridiculous level by adding moves. King, please fix this level.

Doable. First try, with no frog and ten moves. Did it in 8 moves....maybe just lucky?

The Wiki page says this level has been buffed to make it harder. :(

This level is in "beta". Some people have 30 moves and a frog, most people have 10 moves and no frog. It appears to be in transition, as the Wikipedia page defines

Well isn't this just special!!! Seems there are a few varieties of this level out there. Mine is the 10 moves with no frog... Just what does one have to do to get the board with 30 moves... I'll take it with or without the frog... ribbit...ribbit....

Aaaaarrrghhh

Did this on my 2nd try. I had to use a switch hand as there was licorice in between two sprinkles, but once they were matched the level just worked out. How nice to have an easy one after the hellish previous level!

completed on 3rd try, you don;t need no damn frog just break the color combs with wrapped candies.then use the color bombs to eliminate colors to make your additional color bomb!

Thanks for the tip about the hand switch to get two balls together. Didn't realize that you could switch with licorice.

First attempt not sure how. Quite enjoyable.

This was almost too easy... at first I worried about needing an extra color bomb and about only ten moves but with the cascading two color bombs appeared so I had one extra.
