Candy Crush Saga Level 1602

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1602 Candy Crush Saga without boosters.
From the first move you need to look for a vertical stripe or colour bomb to unlock the extra time candies in the top part of the board. Once the extra time candies begin to fall you can start to match them to keep the game moving.
You will also get bombs dropping from the top, these will give you lots of points so match them whenever possible to get your score up.
Although level 1602 is not a hard level as timed levels go, you might want to read our page on beating timed levels.

Whatever you do, don't use a color bomb/stripe combo in the beginning. Once the time candies are gone, that's it. No more fall down.

No idea how I beat the level leave some timers to explode at the end is my best quess.

Just passed it. (After a lot of tries.) Nothing special, it just kept giving me the "+5s" when I needed them, and a chocolate ball appeared right near the end, with a ton of the same color on the board. Still barely passed, during the end when the stripes and wrapped explode by themselves.

Gotta say, if it wasn't for your blog, I'd still be on level 347! Thank you

I have been on this level for at least a week. Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to get more than 140,000 points. And I only got that once.

I posted that last comment & just passed it! It pays to complain on the this blog!!

The closest I've come is 153,000. Its over so quickly, and takes forever to build the lives up again.

Can't seem to get enough points

I just kept trying, not really getting close until I got a great board. Not even sure what I did, but the +5s kept raining down, and before I knew the game was over and I had 269,000 points! Yay!! Do not like the timed levels, but have learned to be more relaxed about them, as the good board will come along. JS

Reckon I'm too old for timed levels, stresses me out. Still, got through after a dozen tries, just and no more, 180,116 points. Thanks for the advice.

Blew my lucky board early when I got lots of combos, knocked out lots of bombs and got to 320,000 points, but I was not keeping my eye on the timer or that bomb in the corner about to go off. At 320,000 points, I should have simply stopped and let the timer run out when that bomb was at one tick, but I wasn't paying attention and lost those points when the bomb hit zero. It took many more tries of not even being close before I had more luck. As time ran out and the special candies detonated, the resulting cascade created a colour bomb that when it did go off, that put me over 180,000 points finally and got me past this level.
I hate timed levels.

Needed to pay attention to bombs more. Kept getting me until I focused on them. Used hammer to finish last one.

Good luck old timer!!

Managed to get 3 stars on about the 6th try. Just kept trying to make stripes and get the 5+ candies as they fell. Didn't watch the timer. I find it distracts me. Was very lucky. Near the end got a chocolate bomb/stripe combo which helped. Good luck everyone. Your lucky board will come. It always does!

Seems impossible to me. I can't even get 10000.

Not another time level King. Think you want to get rid of some players. Thank goodness for Cookie Jam. Would advise anyone to change to this game. I started this game about 1500 levels behind Candy and now have gone ahead. It is my saviour anytime King throws up difficult level. It can be very challenging but no time levels. Having terrible trouble with 1602 and finding it very difficult to solve.

This level is impossible for me, getting nowhere near. This could well be the end after 2years plus playing this game. Sounds like Cookie Jam doesn't have any timed levels so that's where i'll be heading. Bye....

I HATE timed levels and typically don't do especially well on them. Sometimes I end up buying extra time to get through. This one though was not that hard for me. I almost passed the first time (by accident I think). The second time I got nervous as usual and played too fast. The third time I remembered what had happened on the previous turns. You have to make stripes to get the plus five candies to drop, but you have to do it carefully. As the stripes open up a channel for those +5's some bombs will follow them down. The trick is to keep making stripes every couple of times and explode those bombs for points. If you can play close to the bottom of the board you get the chance to make mini- cascades and these will release a few of the +5 candies at a time. Explode those along with the bombs and you'll get the points you need. If you make color bombs use them to explode bombs if you can. I found that making stripe/wrap combos or color bomb/stripe combos worked against me on my second try because the released too many of the +5 candies at once and effectively ended my chance to burst enough bombs to get the needed points. You really have to play slowly and pick your moves on this one. For me it goes against the grain to slow down on a timed level but that's what worked. Hope this helps someone get through!

I agree with you Bill. I focussed so much on getting stripes etc, that I completely forgot about the bombs. Thought I was doing great, then BOOM. I kinda do and don't like this level. It's over too quick though.

I hate these timed levels. It stresses me out. I just can't seem to get pass this level. Not even close. Another game is starting to look good if i don't pass this soon .

As the first post noted, *don't* combine a candy ball with a striped candy. I tried that once and used up all of my +5 candies. However, I did start with a candy ball and used it to uncover some of the +5 candies. I immediately got a second candy ball, and did the same. From that point it was just a matter of getting the extra-time candies, though not too quickly as your timer only goes to 30 seconds. And as other posters have noted, you have to pay attention to bombs. If you have one about to explode and you can't get to it but have enough points for one star, stop playing and let the clock go to zero. No reason to go for a second or third star.

Fuck off

I just can't get this one. Gotten in the 140,000s a couple times but mostly under 100,000.

Is someone on commission for churning out timed levels? I really dread these as I get totally stressed out and mind goes blank?

Anonymous said...

I'm so done with this level, only managed over 100000 once. Been on this for days.

Anonymous said...

Oh come on cc, I've just spent 2 solid hours on this level and nothing. Got close a few times but not close enough to waste another 9 gold bars on. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've tried from every conceivable angle. Please let me past this level before I go nuts.

Yay, I got it at last. Used one chocolate ball as somebody suggested and all hell broke lose. Ended up with 3 stars and nearly 300,000 points.

I liked the game Cookie Jam just as much as this ... now I like it more. I hate the spawners, the chocolate, the timed levels. It's getting to the point that I don't like any of the levels, and when it's no longer fun - bye bye!

Been stuck here forever. Really bored of trying over and over and not coming anywhere near close.

Can I just say to anyone who's stuck - don't give up. I'm terrible at timed levels, have limited function in my hands, so dread them. The last 2 really difficult timed levels I passed by building up a stock of gold bars, but getting extra time this way didn't seem to work with this. So I just carried on, and used a sprinkle each time to try to open the top. The time I passed, I had the sprinkle on the board, luckily got another one then the phone went and i was distracted and time ran out. To my astonishment, the two sprinkles exploded, a load of candies at the top turned to wraps and cased a cascade. Result- I passed with over 300 points and 3 stars. Total fluke. So persevere and it will happen for you. Lin.

I played a lackluster round and when my time ran out i thought i had 27000 points. But turns out it was 227000. I think what did wss i used a color bomb on a time bomb and got big time points for it.

It comes down to luck for me spent 3 days and ended up with 6 or 7 chocolate balls in a row and ended up with 621380. Total ass luck.
