Just put the two cotton wheel things together at the beginning. It basically destroys the board.
Excellent advice. I did it, as suggested , cleared most of the board and the rest was easy. Three stars on the first try!

The key to this one seems to be to play the two pink hammers on top of each other, which takes out a lot of jellies.
