I can't believe there are no comments yet. This level is horrible. Sure, you have plenty of moves, but every time you get near matching a wrapped piece with a striped one the game makes sure it won't happen. I look at the board, I study it, and I find it hard to believe my move could cause the chain of events as it does. It will destroy every thing you were planning. Here's another level where I'll quit this game. Challenging I can appreciate, but this isn't even fun. Good luck and if you figure out any tips, please post!

Btw...I'm playing on an iPad and PC. The closest I've been is 4/5 on the iPad.

Just got here.....of course the level is hard.....it is supposed to be hard....though sometimes I think that the game cheats.

Passed this level on my iPhone. Less than ten tries, I think. Just need to be patient. Had 22 moves left when I only needed a stripe candy, which was kinda far from my wrap. Luckily, another wrap fell down close to the stripe candy.

Don't depend on the candies underneath. Try to create wraps and stripes from above. That's how I beat this level.

Hello,

I am at level 392 now...
after finish 391 with laptop...

Keep spirit for finished 392

I agree with above comment..."it is supposed to be hard"

Be patient and you'll get it. If you're at this level you have the skill.

I kept the chocolate in check. There is enough space around the center to make the combinations.

Several times I set up combos only to have them explode. I also did not count on the bottom wraps or stripes.

I made stripes when wraps were not possible - that way there were enough around when I needed one to match them with a wrap.

Good luck! PM

Hmmm scratching head., one attempt and all i have had is explosions!! And yes it's not supposed to be easy...will get there..hv fun

Took me about an hour...got down to 4 heaps, basically u just hv to go slow...with 8 moves left and one to go I guess I got lucky, but like I said go slow and u will avoid the cascades getting out of control. Also I found keeping a choc sprinkle can help clear a colour coming between a match.

Finished with four moves left easier than previous game.

I almost finished this one at once, but then I succeeded on my second try. Maybe I just got lucky for a change, but I didn't think this one was hard.

Beat it in five tries. It's much easier than 391, which took me 30+ lives.

I have been on this level for days. I have read the comments and they make sense, but I can't get a board that will cooperate. When I get enough wrapped candy and stripped candy they are either too far apart Or one move cascades about 3 of them out. It could be a fundardscry level but right now I am bored with it.

Jude said...

I'm the opposite. Level 391 was quite straightforward. Completed it within about five tries I think and have repeated the success.
This level is rather more tricky. Having trouble getting the wrapped candies to avoid being destroyed by random striped candies.

Jude said...

It pays to talk - and to be patient. Completed first try this morning. Just concentrated on wrapped candies and completed with 18 moves spare.

This one is just tedious, but not hard. You just need to manage the board, watch the chocolates, and make the combos.

Anonymous said...

I played like some of you suggested and ignored the bottom specials. I was able to get 4 combos with 20+ moves left. I didn't set up my final combo until the last move! UGH! It seems to be easier if you ignore the bottom and keep the chocolate in check. Wrapped candies will sometimes form on their own and I tried to keep stripes available for when I could get wrapped candies.

Anonymous said...

My strategy is somewhat different. I don't form stripes, just wraps. Once I get a wrap, I form a stripe right by it. Too many random stripes were setting off my wraps before I could match them.

Unless it was an obvious easy match, I also ignored the freebies at the bottom.

I agree with above comments. Beat this in 2 try's. Concentrate on wraps only. If a unwanted stripped appears detonate it while keeping chocolate in check. WHEN that wrapped appears, very easy to make a stripped.

Anonymous said...

Thank you for the above comment. Absolutely helped. Forget the bottom. Concentrate on wraps only. Then make a stripe. Don't stockpile stripes coz they blow when you don't want them to. Some wraps will appear at the bottom for you if you are careful not to blow the stripes next door.

I passed it pretty easily when I stopped trying to make stripes/wrappers at the bottom; it would always end up in combos and destroy everything. I would just try to keep the chocolate under control while making stripes/wrappers around the top/sides. There's a less chance of it cascading and blowing all you've worked for.

Hi guys I need help with this level ,every time I get a wrap and stripe together it blows up before I can use it . Ive managed to get 3 but thats as far as Ive got so far any helps or hints would be appreciate

Anonymous said...

So, as they say, just keep trying. 2 days-22 moves left & done

Don't forget the power of a chocolate sprinkle candy using it to clear a color and if lucky enough to get a second one as a result of using the first thus wiping out 2 colors and chocolate makes less colors on board making it easier to form wrapped and striped. Try it it works

Anonymous said...

Seems like you get this level quickly or you get stuck. Unfortunately I'm in the latter category. When I make a wrap, they seem to get blown up before I can match it with a stripe. Maybe I should try my phone or laptop. This is getting old.p

I can't even buy my way through this level :(

I just have to say that I never could have made it this far without all of your input on this blog! I don't even look at the video, just read your comments & it always makes the difference. Read the above, concentrated on making the wraps & voila, made the level in one try!

THANK YOU!!!

I tried and tried and finally got it after 30 or so tries without reading these comments. Then I got the same stupid level as my 3rd quest needing passed before getting on the train to advance to the next tier. After 15 tries I decided to read the comments. After reading, I got it in one try with 29 moves left. It was quick and easy. Ignore everything but the wrapped. Get a wrap them form and combine a stripe. One at a time. Don't build up stripes or wraps. When chocolate appears, pause and take care of it and then back to forming wraps. Good luck friends.

GO Slow! Forget about the bottom candies just concentrate on getting wrapped/striped combo. Think before you move. Make wrapped candy before the striped then it won't explode prematurely. Don't be tempted to make stripes. Make one wrap candy at a time. I did that and I passed after 3 attempts with 30 moves left.

Yes this level is doable...If I can do it you can...got it on 3rd try..would of had it 1st try but computer locked up with my final combo right there....hang in there,,,I was going to quit this game many times...but here I am still wasting my time playing this addicting game...LOL

I have to say this is one of the most helpful tip pages for any level. Just focus on wraps, keep the choc at bay and all will follow. Cleared in about 4 tries after reading this.

I'm happy to say that I find this level very boring. Too many moves and I hate trying to make stripe and wrap mixes. It has caused me to lose interest in Candy Crush. I'll be getting my life back!

Was going to give it up for Lent, now it might be sooner.

Thanks for all the tips on this blog!

Good luck to all!

Just got to this level last night, and already today I'm very frustrated! Agreed there must be a some level of difficulty otherwise it would be totally boring!

But give me a break, every time I manage to make a striped+wrapped it somehow cascades away like a domino rally!

Thanks for the tips everyone, I'll be plodding away till I get it no matter how long it takes.

I'm back, just posted the comment above, I've done it!!!

Went on to my Mac and got it first time, after banging away of the iPad! So mic last night. The cascades that I previously mentioned never happened at all on the Mac?

I noticed on the Mac, the purple candies replaced the yellows on the iPad.

yeah, I want it to be a little bit difficult, but it hardly seems like there is any skill involved in this level or the last few. When some people get stuck for games and games on one - like 391, that I got on my first attempt - and then I get stuck on 392 for no reason except the board doesn't cooperate - too much luck involved. Agree, though, this blog is absolutely THE BEST for help! Thanks everyone!

Anonymous said...

and then, of course, right after I post that about luck - as luck would have it, following the making wraps, not stripes, I crushed Level 392 with 13 moves left over - did use 2 bottom ones that opened, though.

This board is horrible! Got this far but ready to quit! How many boards do they go through to get the perfect one?

Bill. said...

Took a lot of lives. Too many explosions at times which remove all the wrapped candies. Still can be done at least on pc and Facebook.

Bill. said...

Very difficult with lots of explosions you don't want. Need to concentrate fully.

Got this one on the fourth try. I've noticed that on my Android phone, this level is different than on Facebook. On Facebook, the bottom frozen candies are all stripe/wrap combos, but on Android, they are stripe/wrap against mystery candy. The Facebook version basically is giving you two wrap/striped combos. Free one of them, set them off and that unfreezes the others, so set off another pair. That's two down, three to go in just a couple of moves. Then, concentrate on wraps. I was able to get three more just working to make wraps and ignoring everything else, except the chocolate if it gets too extensive. Then I got stripes above wraps and moved them down. A couple of times, though, when I moved a stripe against a wrap, an unexpected cascade set off the pair before I was ready, which is irritating. This level does require a lot of thought, and each try took far longer in time than other levels.

i have to agree, it's much easier on the mac, played on my iPod Touch and kept getting the cascades that ruined everything! Then first try (after reading the comments) i got it on my mac!!! No horrid cascades!! yipee! concentrate on the packages the stripes are easy by comparison!

Anonymous said...

Ignore the combinations at the bottom, concentrate on making wraps from above. Do not make stripe candys until you need them to combine with a wrap. After days stuck on this level, I cleared it first time using this strategy.

I really agree with the comments to ignore the bottom candy. I looked at this one and thought it was time to quit playing. It was too hard. I read previous comments took my time and beat it with 25 left. Thank you everyone for your help.

After my first game I checked the advice here and followed that. I focused on wraps, but up high as I didn't want to wipe out those at the bottom. When you detonate one at the bottom it wipes out all the others at the bottom, and I wanted at least two of those. So, I got two at the top, used two at the bottom and then I had only one more to get. Finished with 40 turns remaining and a very high score. Maybe I just got lucky but the advice about wraps was good.
