Yet another stupid level where it is pure luck as you usually only have one (bad) move to choose from! This group of 15 is by far the worst designed of the game - pathetic. Get your act together Candy Crush!!

Anonymous said...

totally agree - plus a forced reshuffle costs a move, unlike most previous levels - the makers are really trying to force us to buy boosters. They still haven't realised that we'll buy boosters for difficult but fair levels, but will not buy for "stupid" (ie luck\non-skill) levels - if you're at level 419, you already love the game, and have probably paid along the way (and felt it was worth it). On this type of level (lose moves automatically or have only 1 move available), players are going to get annoyed...

Anonymous said...

The reiterating theme for these stages definitely is LUCK. May the game god be with you when you play these stages. You will feel absolutely stupid for wasting hours on this game and no satisfying feeling whatsoever after advancing a stage using boost.

The order (2 chocolate bomb, 100 yellows, 6 wrap) for this stage is already hard enough without the cake blocks. To add in this stupid tornado which screws up all your move setting is just ridiculous.

One thing they can do is at least make the ? candy high chance of containing wrap. Instead it was like chocolate (not bomb), stripe candy, cake blocks or licorice.

ugg.. so frustrating.

Unknown said...

yes, the reshuffle costing me a move screwed me. had 3 yellow left and needed two moves. screw it bought the 5 moves but I agree with comments above and on this episode. It seemed when I cleared one side it became easier to remove the creams on the other side. Candy On!!! Dean

Anonymous said...

I totally agree wit all coments posted once I hit the levels with the tornadoes my mood for the game kinda shifted and am not so eager to keep trying. If the wuld have thrown in a torando or two during the last 400 levels maybe it would not be so bad. Dissapointed!!!

Anonymous said...

i had 1 yellow left! Darn it!

Anonymous said...

Worst episode ever YET.

Anonymous said...

Agree with all comments above. Wasted enough time on this game. Now it is becoming simply luck will probably stop.

Anonymous said...

Straight after I posted the above comment I went and completed it. The next level looks more straightforward but does still have the annoying tornado thingies.

Anonymous said...

oooookk...i've been stuck for 2 months at 410 ...3 days on 417(passed it with pure luck!!) and now this???it's just a waste of time...i liked this game but i think i have to stop it.. :(

Anonymous said...

just started this level. Looks very difficult at first try, after a few round I feel it is possible, just need to keep playing until a good hand turns up. From now on I can quit the game for good any time, having reach here so far, being runner up amoungst 60 players, as it is getting boring.

Anonymous said...

I've come close a couple of times; once had just 1 chocolate bomb left and another time had only 4 yellows left! So frustrating!

maebee said...

Very annoying level. The orders are impossible to achieve in 50 moves :(

maebee said...

Very unfair of King to make you lose a life when there's a re-shuffle. I lost 6 lives in one game because of re-shuffles.

Anonymous said...

Beat this level after two days. Just worked on eliminating the center jellies to clear room to make combos. Making 6 wraps was difficult, but I also got lucky when some of the ? jellies made wraps. I used a lot of lives trying to beat this...it just takes persistence. Good luck! PM

Anonymous said...

This might be the hardest level yet. I can't even get close to the target yellows. I've been stuck here for 2 weeks now but really don't want to use any booster, especially using them doesn't guarantee the finish as I cannot reach even close to the targets within the given moves. I might just wait for its mobile version (since mobile version usually has more moves allowed).

Anonymous said...

Actually scratch the above comment. It'll be the same 50 moves in the mobile version.

Anonymous said...

I agree totally with the other commenters: crappy episode based entirely on luck. The appeal of the game is the fact that passing levels involved actual skill, and not just throwing dice over and over again. Plus, super bummed that reshuffling costs a move! I thought it was a bug in the program. Seems like other players are experiencing the same thing. But it could also be a sly ploy by King to make it harder to pass the level. So far, I managed to get up to L419 without any boosters, and without giving a cent to King. This particular level makes me more resolute *not* to give them any money (even though I had one time been just 4 yellows away from completion... grr...) I keep at it only because I'm hoping the subsequent levels regain the quality and appeal of the earlier episodes. But if I were to be told that's not the case, then I'm quitting right away.

Lisa said...

Ok I am officially sick of this game. Level 419 is totally pissing me off. First of all the level doesn't take skill it only takes luck. Next that stupid tornado keeps going straight to the one move I want to make and keeping me from making that move. Next the tornado goes straight for any ? candies, or special ones I have make. Last the tornado will take out one of the candies I would have needed to make a move. After reading comments on here I noticed that is it charging me a move EVERYTIME it has to reshuffle. No wonder why I can't beat it. The tornado takes my one and only move and I get charged a move for it. Is this just a glitch or has it always been that way? I am officially done, at least until it comes out on the iphone so I can try on there, the computer sucks!

Anonymous said...

♥ Reading all these comments made me prepared to waste a lot of lives trying but I got it on my 2nd try. The first try was killed by a timed bomb that I couldn't get to in time. Yeah I found out it takes away a life for each shuffle. Not sure if it has been that way since level 1.

Anonymous said...

I only play this on Facebook and it has ALWAYS cost me a life to reshuffle. Hate the extremely high "pure luck" component needed here, which seems to be the case every level of this episode!

Anonymous said...

Very frustrated as well; my most recent play, one of the ? candies revealed a bomb. I had 3 separate legitimate ways to destroy that bomb and it would not go away. Initially I used a wrapped candy next to it, then twice in a row I pounded it with striped candies and it was still there. Eventually lost the level because of the bomb. Makes no sense...this has never happened before.

Anonymous said...

Have enjoyed the challenge of Candy Crush up to now, but this level is ridiculous. Surely someone from King must read these comments, so come on its about time it was updated to give us a chance to move on. Seriously thinking about quitting and move to another game.

Nerd_Ngong said...

There have been several ridiculous levels in the 400s, but so far, this is the worst. I was stuck on this level for over a week, which is a record for me. You have to be very, very lucky, and don't give up even when it looks like you're going to lose, as I had a miraculous win on this one. I had two moves left with 20 to 30 yellows and a wrapped candy to go. I set off the wrapped candy, which resulted in a series of explosions and cascades and miraculously brought me down to only three yellows left, and for a change, there was actually a move on my last move to clear those three. Good luck... You'll need a lot of it...

Anonymous said...

Finished the level on my second day. Definitely one of the harder levels in the game, perhaps the hardest. Crazy thing was I had 13 moves to spare. But to all the whiners posting about how unfair and difficult the level is, are you really expecting a game developer to keep you entertained for 400+ levels and not throw in some tough ones to entice you to cough up some cash? Are you so entitled that you think there should be free games made just for your level of intelligence, patience, and entertainment. Still funnier is those "threatening" to quit - gee, that will leave the world scarred if you decide not to play a free game on Facebook. How will we go on?

PuspitaHassei said...

Finally finish this level after 2 weeks --; totally need luck again to complete this one.

I win after using 5 hammer in the last step to kill that annoying yellow candy (due to using hammer not decrease your step).

For anonymous above me... you're totally lucky to complete this one in 2 days. and I am sure you will not say the same thing if you get stuck for 2 weeks or more like me because only depend on luck.

this level only need luck and booster. no skill needed. i am still enjoy level 421 even it still need big luck, but it still need skill to win. and for level 410,417, and 419 no skill needed, it only need LUCK and i dislike that.

First 5 moves had only one possible move, each followed by a reshuffle, costing me another 5 moves. These levels are awful and have totally ruined the game for me. No skill involved anymore; it's just luck. Seems geared to force players to buy boosters. Well it's not happening! I'll find another game. Sort it out King.

Anonymous said...

A few times I finish with all my yellows and a missing colored or wrapped. Or I finish the colored or wrapped and have like 30 yellows to go. Seems the game is controlling us, not the other way around. Shame on the programmers, I guess they got cocky and lazy.

Anonymous said...

Totally fed up with this level now. It never seems to play fair. Stupid tornado keeps pinching my set up moves. Candies with a ? never seem to have anything good in them. Which god of candy crush do you have to send your sacrifice to get a bit of luck? On the plus side if you fed up like I am, I have found a very good alternative game on app store called candy mania. It is lots of fun and is very similar, but so far, (on level 42) luck seems to play very little part. Check it out if you've had enough of CC like I have.

Shawn said...

I know it sounds crazy, but I beat it with 3 spare moves after about 10 attempts. None of the previous are even close! You really need luck to find combos to pass for sure!
After 417, this one seems easy. However, the reshuffle costs one move thing is sick!

Anonymous said...

stupid level..grrrr

Anonymous said...

I am officially sick of this game. Level 419 is totally pissing me off. It doesn't matter if you have skill. It is PURE luck! The stupid tornado keeps going straight to the one move I want to make and keeping me from making that move. May be I'll start playing again once I can play it on my phone again. Whoever thought of adding the tornado and how it should work needs their ass kicked!

Anonymous said...

this level is the most stupid level I've seen....GOOD BYE insane King's!!! You even don't listen to your players so you 're SICK AND STUPID

Anonymous said...

Am thinking they put these levels in to slow us down'cause they can't keep up with us!!??? Anyway am frustrated like most, I get the orders but not enuff yellow...I get the yellow but not enough wrappers...it's same ole same ole and getting that far ain't easy. Once again where is the IPHONE update, playing 5 lives at a time doesn't help get thru this and I'm not on it much as I don't enjoy playing on FB!! grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Anonymous said...

Yup, I'm with others here. I don't have time to spend weeks on one level, and life is too short to have to deal with so much frustration in not even ever getting close to clearing this level.
I've enjoyed the game up to this episode but now my CC days are over, I'm afraid. JM

Anonymous said...

Remarkably, I managed 417 when getting a stripe + colour bomb combo with 2 moves left and it made a vertical stripe above the nut instead of a predictable horizontal one which would have screwed me.

Level 418 took two goes, got lucky with the ? candies to get stripe + wrapped etc in the middle followed by an enormous combo/chain.

So, I approached level 419 with dread after reading the commenters on here....only to do it first time. Just focused on the crap in the middle if the screen to allow more combos and they all simply fell into place. Needed 9 yellow with 5 moves left, but with hardly any on the screen...even they appeared like clockwork and so on to 420 I go!

Oh, my life is complete ;-)

Anonymous said...

I agree with some here that they made this level hard to slow us down. That's what happened to 410 also. I noticed that when they were able to make up more levels they opened 2 slots which made the level a bit easier and I passed in my second try. So I hope King will soon remove the tornado because the stupid creams and orders are hard enough!

Anonymous said...

OMG who posted above and got it out first go, how lucky! I am so over it, bored with it, managing the combos many times but short on yellow or vice a versa., yellows do seem to come the more candied wrappers/stripes to make big dents but never enuff and i'm BOREDDDD with it...bring on the iphone update NOW ALREADY

Anonymous said...

There is some strategy in all levels. You just have to look for it and try new things. Luck has always been a factor-- some more than others, sure. But does there HAVE to be 40 comments of people whining the same thing on a help blog??? Yeesh If the game bugs you THAT much then stop playing. The rest of us looking for tips don't want to read through this BS. Candy Crush wants you to pay $$. You like your job to pay you, right?

I haven't passed 419 yet but this is only day 2 for me and I enjoy the challenge.. Which is why I play. How many times did you die on Super Mario Bros before you won?? lol

My tips:

Bust away the blocks on top first.

Try to wipe out the tornado.

Don't just move hastily-- really think about how the board will change when you make a move.

Focus on making wrapped and chocolate sprinkled candies as they will aid in taking out yellow and are hardest to get. You have to bust the blocks to have a chance.

When you get a chocolate sprinkle candy-- try to use it on a yellow of striped candy.

*** when my board reshuffles it DOES NOT take a move from me. (Playing on iPhone)

Anonymous said...

ok... so I gave in and bought 5 extra moves... I have been on this level for about a 3 days and while I have spent considerably more time on other levels before i was even tempted to pay the 99 cents, I choose to make the purchase due to fact that when I rant out of lives I only needed 2 more package candies and a 2 yellow candies. I had 2 packages already on the board and sprinkle ball. as it turns out I only needed 2 moves to pass the level. My other tips: Play on the mobile app. The mobile app doesn't take moves for reshuffling the board.
Also if you play on the mobile app, you can exit the game before you make the first move and not lose your lives and the next time you go back in you will have a new starting board. I do this to try and start off the game with as many moves as possible to get the best start possible.

Anonymous said...

This level is AWFUL. I've tried using the bonus candy that gives you what you need, but it was pretty much useless - only got a few throughout the entire level (I've seen a LOT more come through on other levels) and half the time they're just yellows.

Anonymous said...

I quit this game because this level.
Not mean it is too difficult but it non-sense to play because you always have only one possible way to move.

So, what do I play for?

Portland said...

Thank you for finally giving me the cure to this stupid obsession (level 419). I am now looking for a better game. Any suggestions people? Papa Pear is mildly amusing but I looking for a little more strategy. Thanks!

Anonymous said...

About to quit candy crush...fix the bugs please

Anonymous said...

Candy Crush used to be a fun game. Now its become tedious and boring. Time to move on.

Jude said...

Yup. This one was about getting lucky at the start with clearing the layers in the middle. Then the chocolate candies and wrappeds just made themselves.
Took me three days I think to get a good enough board - maybe 50 attempts.

Anonymous said...

Very difficult level indeed. But with dedication, meaning many tries, it will solve itself eventually. I did after about 40-50 attempts without any boosters.

It looked pretty grim too with only 10 moves left, but I got a ton of combos and what I needed on those tries, so don`t give up even if things look bad.

There is no strategy here, just do horisontal rows the first moves to destroy most blocks (3) until you have more room to do more combos.

Good luck.

Now onwards!

Anonymous said...

once again the head of this company should be talking to their programmers and letting them know that they DO NOT have job security when they develop levels like this.
lolo

Anonymous said...

do you get extra moves on this level watched dude complete on utube but he had 53 moves cant seem to get that

Anonymous said...

There is no skill in this level so I doubt there will be any satisfaction when I do complete it. The closest I've come is 14 yellows and 1 colour bomb left. I won't buy any boosters for a level that is solely dependent on luck. You're scraping the barrel on this one Candy Crush - B- must try harder!

Bill. said...

Agree need a lot of luck but can be done. Concentrate on combinations and keep looking for the right patterns. Ignore the whirlpool.

Anonymous said...

The help video total bull, not 1 reshuffle moves all over the board, and finishes with moves left I don't think so.

Unknown said...

This is a boring, annoying level which you will only pass when it decides to let you (as a few have been lately). I couldn't even get close for ages and then finally had to buy 5 moves so that I could get the spotty ball and about 4 more yellows. Before that I had been at least 30 yellows off and only got 2 wraps at the most - every one with a question mark had given me a chunk of chocolate or an iced tile - really, really annoying especially when it uses so many moves through shuffling!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Why do they have to make this level so stupid? The game shuffles just about every other move and when you can make a move, just one choice. Just dumb!

Anonymous said...

This level has bugs! After days of playing, I managed to get a color bomb next to a stripe, and then it reshuffled! Argh! It has reshuffled on me a lot when I still have a move.

Anonymous said...

I am not yet start this level as I just spent few days to overcome 417 with luck and without satisfaction.

I am already tire of playing slot-machine game. By just reading you guys comment, I do know it is another stupid level.

Frankie

Anonymous said...

After a few weeks i finally passed this level, but actually this game itself decided to let me pass it because suddenly I had luck and with few moves it cleared the board from the hard candies, then it literally dropped wrapped candies and color bombs. I finished it with 8 moves left. All the other attempts didn't even got me close. So I think it is not just luck to solve this game but it is programmed to be this way: after a fix number of attemps you solve it. Stupid game!

SigitAP said...

Hello,

KEEP SPIRIT
I am on 421 now, very difficult too...

Anonymous said...

This level was hard..I have tried for 2 weeks.. Pure luck is needed in this level!

Anonymous said...

This level was worse than 417 if that's even possible. There is only one tornado and it always picks a ? candy or the only move you can make. I lost at least 5 moves on one try because of the tornado causing a reshuffle. Again, a level with absolutely no skill. I have no tips for beating this level as it is pure luck. As someone else said, I hope the programmers see these messages and get a clue. The appeal of CCS was its skill factor, and that factor is gone in this episode.

Anonymous said...

My tactic is that

1. Remove all stones ASAP so that I can have larger space to do my task.

2. focus on making 6 wrap candies

3. if it happens to find an easy way to create chocolate, make it and use it to clear yellow candy. This not only achieve the 100 yellows but increase your chance to create other wrap candies

4. after 6 wrap was made, create chocolate bomb. DO NOT use it to only clear yellow candy but use it to merge with stripe. I found that you will be short of yellow candy when you only focus on cleaning yellow candies. The only way is to have a massive clean up of candies so that new yellow candies can be generated.

Good luck.

Frankie

Anonymous said...

Yeah I am done... Tired of back to back to back to back of pure luck and no skill

Sascha said...

I agree this episode isnt the best by far but dealing with the twisters is not 100% matter of pure luck. Beating this level took me a lot longer then average, a whole lot longer. I came close several times. Ultimately i beat it with 0 moves left. Didnt use boosters. Its a real tough level where you to grab all the oppertunities handed to you. Yes you need luck but you also need to execute your moves with precision and make every move count. In the end it all comes down to how well you can adapt to the randomness of the ?-candies and twisters and being persistant. Wouldnt be fun if you beat every level on your first try now would it? Good luck.

Anonymous said...

Worse thing is that King is probably sitting back laughing their heads off at everyone just coming back time and time again like gamblers to see if they can crack 421. 100% luck, no skill. Say what you want about trying to set it up for the win, you can't because the game will make sure you can't hit the combo's.

This all said, King are charging people to play this game (through play ons and boosters) which essentially means this game has become nothing but a slot machine. Shame on you King for moving the goalposts.

On top of this, do you call it glitches or blatant cheating when certain candies don't fall where they should or when 4 candies don't form striped candies?

Anonymous said...

Took a while, but was finally successful on Android. Key seems to be the first few moves clearing a good third of the hard candies early on (otherwise give up and start again) - got lucky with a wrapped candy that helped.
thereafter was able to clear most of the rest of the hard candy, whilst watching out for wrapped candies and colour bombs.
Like many others have commentated, it felt like it was my lucky day: by the end i had had 5 colour bombs, and finished with 6 moves left (and wrapped candies left over), which makes you think you have to 'do your time' to progress. 3 weeks was ENOUGH time.

Even then I still had to be eagle-eyed to build the early wrapped candies. conclusion: needed all my skill, but a lot more luck.

Anonymous said...

this took a while but not as bad as 350. after breaking up as many blocks with as you can (this is tough as sometimes there are just very few moves), concentrate on the wraps. I was finally able to pass when I had chocolate ball/yellow stripe combo, then a few more wraps shows up after that explosion and my yellows were all taken care of. After playing for a week, I myself was relieved.

Anonymous said...

Don't you just hate when you make a move to form a great combo, and the combo is here but the game reshuffles?! Why??? I mean, sometimes it reshuffles when the combo is the only available move, and sometimes it doesnt't. This is so unfair, the whole game became no fun to play. I keep playing hoping the next level will be a challenge but an interesting one, but every next level is more and more boring.

Unknown said...

This is getting annoying its all luck and becoming boring.. the reshuffules is over and over. Being not my fault for it makes it worse

Anonymous said...

Wow I just passed this level 419 today! I am still trying to absorb everything! I even topped all my friends' top scores finished with3 stars and 3 moves to spare! I can feel other candy crush players when they get down after staying in a level for weeks, these few episodes i spend days stuck in them! All levels are just so difficult. I am still trying to think of helpful tips...
Some tips to help you:
* Clean up the blocks because you need space to start matching candies.
* Striped candies are helpful too, if you got them, use them.
* At the start make any match that can clean blocks, but make the 6 wrapped candies first as that is the most difficult to do.
* If you got color bombs use it match with yellows or any other off color. With candies eliminated the easier to match and make wrapped candies and eliminate yellow.
* Do not make eliminating yellows a priority because in the process of cleaning the board you can clear yellows.
* I think i spent about 16-20 moves doing wrapped candies!

Good luck everyone! This level is super difficult for me since 350! -LEI

Anonymous said...

Three times I have gotten a reshuffle, and lost a move, when I had a striped/wrapped candy combo available, did the programmer of this level forget that those are available even though they arent color matches? Trying to report the bug to King games but cant find where I would do that. Ugh, agree with all that challenging is fun, frustrating and almost impossible is not!

Anonymous said...

Wow, this is beyond ridiculous. No way to earn boosters without paying. No alternative at all. Lives and tickets are money or friends only. 5 lives at a time. Now, they add this mechanic which takes all strategy out and makes it luck. Then i get here and its, Reshuffle, reshuffle, reshuffle, etc. this company is worse than Zynga at this point. Difficulty is extremely fun. Artificial difficulty based on nothing but luck to get people to pay, is disgusting and tasteless. Im actually happy though. It made me search the app store and go back to fun games like Final Fantasy and other rpgs which dont have any hints of this gimmicky thieving nonsense. Goodbye Candy Crush.

I really appreciate the few of you who posted helpful tips for this level. I'm still on level 418. Only played twice so far. Doesn't seem too hard! While I understand everyone's frustrations with certain levels, if every level was easy we would all be sitting at level 500 waiting for the developers to add more. If you want to vent, feel free but please share strategies too. That's the whole reason for these blogs. I vented a lot on the level 417 blog but I also shared some things along the way. Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Agree with the above comment. Complaints are ok but only if you post tips too. You don't work for free. So don't expect King to either. It's just free enterprise.

My tips for this level: it's imperative that you get several triple hits on the top row pretty fast. You must chip down quickly to free up space. If you don't, restart. I restarted unless I could get a triple right off the bat. You should start to get packages or sprinkle balls after 20 moves or less. If you don't, restart. Don't worry about yellow, concentrate on packages. Hang in. The game will give you lots of gifts if you just keep your eyes peeled. At the end you may have to buy a hammer or extra moves. Just do it.

Anonymous said...

I must have gotten very lucky! I passed this level in less than 10 tries. I did what others suggested and chipped away at the merangue first. Then, I focused on making wrapped candies. The sprinkle balls came on their own without much effort. I got very lucky and paired my final sprinkle ball with a striped yellow. It cleared all my yellows but 7 and I had 7 moves left. I got the final yellows with 3 moves to spare.

Anonymous said...

This level is difficult enough without losing a move every time I am out of moves! Seriously between the tornado knocking out my ONLY move and then losing a move, this level feels impossible to win. On average I probably lose 10 moves per game. The fun is fading and I refuse to purchase moves to win this one. This could do me in. KING needs to eliminate the lose a move when you are out of moves and maybe there will be half a chance of winning this one. You are sucking the life out of me on this and the fun is gone.

Anonymous said...

See comment above... "This level is difficult enough...". That was me 15 minutes ago. And after weeks of frustration on this level, I PASSED IT! I managed to do it as others have posted to focus on eliminating the top row and making wrapped candy. As others have said, don't worry about the yellows, they automatically come. I was down to 5 moves and needed a chocolate ball. Did it in 2! Super frustrating level but will now continue on. Good luck everyone!

Anonymous said...

You will complete this level when it wants you to. Tornadoes know just where to go. Don't try to set anything up because it is useless. Just play until it happens. VERY FRUSTRATING. like previous comments have stated got this far if it continues to be this bad good-bye candy crush.

Anonymous said...

This level is so ridiculous I agree with the comments upbove ahhh

Anonymous said...

All I keep getting is.. No more moves, shuffling!! Although it's not taking a life or a move when it does that as others have said. Very frustrating level when it keeps shuffling all the time!!!

Anonymous said...

Stupid, stupid level!! My ? Are either bombs or chocolates!!! Grrrrrr

I must admit I thought here we go again after level 410. After 3 days I passed it with the last move. My advice is that the wrapped sweets are hardest. Clear the middle, look at combining cluster with stripes or at least swap with a yellow. Don't get hung up on the whirlwind play ur game regardless and still plan then latter stages plan to get what u need. Deffo luck plays a big part but for me 410 by far the worst level yet! Good luck

Anonymous said...

I enjoy this game alot. Obvious seeing I got to level 419. But, this level is totally luck. No matter how skilled you are you are going against a computer set to stop you finishing the level. I feel i am wasting my time now and will stop playing. well done candy crush....

Anonymous said...

I don't see how anyone can get thru this level. By the time I clear enough of the board to build any special candies I'm down to maybe 11 moves. Between that and being penalized moves because THE GAME hasn't set up the board correctly, this is getting very frustrating.

Anonymous said...

Yup agree its a stupid level. On my Iphone I got to needing ONE yellow. I will not cave and buy as I am sure u then get levels that will create u buying again. Have not come close on the computer. I hate levels that have no strategy. Other than that since I ma at Level 419 without spending a dime they must all be do-able at some point. A waste of time I must admit for this level.

No room for cry-babies in this game. Good job candy crush! I haven't given you any money yet you have kept me occupied for months.

Came to this page for help passing. Didn't see any helpful comments (apparently it is just luck...I was wondering if there was pattern to getting the ? candies). Went back to fb to play and won it on next try. Seems like the second I say this level is unbeatable, or seek out help, I pass a level. So weird!

Thank you level 419, for curing my stupid CCS addiction. Free at last ! It took a monumentally bad level design for me to finally snap out of this. If you're reading this and are still playing, there's hope for you: quit NOW. Uninstall. Move on. Cheers !

This entire chapter, with the introduction of tornadoes and pure luck, has completely ruined my love for this game for over two months. I refuse to ever spend money on this game, especially if it's just to beat some poorly designed level that frustrates me to no end. At least with most previous chapters, the harder levels were fun to try to beat and felt satisfying when I beat them. With 417, I was stuck it for over two weeks and when I beat it I just had a blank expression on my face and a feeling of 'whatever' because I knew the future levels were just as bad. Worse yet, King isn't going to do anything to fix this because they know that people will still play it and that some will get enraged enough to spend money on their game. I think it's time for me to say farewell to Candy Crush Saga and get on with more important things in my life again.

This level is horse shit. I think im just about done with this game -__-

This level took me a while. As has been mentioned, focusing on the yellows doesn't work. Neither does focusing on making choco balls. Focus on making the wrapped candies, and the rest will take care of itself once the board opens up.

How to open up the board quickly? The natural tendency is to try and make matches to blow up the frosting anywhere on the board. However, the times I got closest to finishing, and the time I actually passed, I resisted the temptation and only focused on making matches at the very bottom (unless I saw a striped or wrapped combo, or the question mark), even if it didn't blow up anything, hoping for cascades, and it worked. The board opened up pretty quickly, and then just started searching for wrapped combos. Once those started blowing up, I got lucky with cascaded choco balls, and made a striped + choco ball combo to clear the board. Good luck!

If I only had a nickel for every time this particular level does the "no more moves" shuffle, I could afford to hire a team of monkeys who could come up with better ideas than the programmers of this game have for the last 50levels or so.

Anonymous said...

Wow. Last game, I had 18 reshuffles, 20 out of 50 moves were at the upper right or left where they meant nothing, and to add insult to injury, one of those weird eggs turned into a chocolate which ended up covering half the board. LOL End of game, no wrapped combos, no chocolate balls, and I still needed 60-something yellows. Crimony.

Just realised that this is just a slot machine.... And I won't even win the jackpot!

Anonymous said...

MUHAHAHAHAHA! I WIN. Took 2 weeks, but I WIN!!!

Keep trying and eventually you will get lucky.

Anonymous said...

Thanks to all the comments in here it took me 6 tries to finish this level just now. I completely ignored trying to get anything at first and just worked on clearing the meringue. The sooner you do this, the sooner more special jelly beans will fall as well as making it easier to make the wrapped candies and colour bombs as you'll now have more room to move. Just focus on the meringue first!!

Omg..so frustrating

PANTS!
Uninstall
Move on
Forget Candy Crush ever existed!

Anonymous said...

This is NOT totally about luck. Just focus on the middle and nowhere else, and your chances go dramatically up. Seriously.

Anonymous said...

Well done King. I was enjoying candy crush until now. This level has ruined the experience for me. I am finished with it

Anonymous said...

So far this is just a joke. start, reshuffle, 1 move, reshuffle, next move, reshuffle and so on. How the heck are you supposed to be able to make any decent moves or clear anything if it just keeps reshuffling!!!! Another hopeless level that will come down to luck. I wish CC would have a look at how ridiculous some of these levels really are.

Anonymous said...

The problem with watching the video is that the moves you get on a board are nothing like those shown. I have never got a board that opens up that easily, and sure as hell not got combos that have been possible like those shown. I guess this is why we have all not passed yet?

Anonymous said...

Another mindless stupid level that revolves around shifting candy in the hope that you get some good moves. Not much challenge in being bored stupid by the waste of time & energy watching constant reshuffles.
No wonder so many people quit!!

Anonymous said...

Oh good, I'm not the only one who's had enough.
There are far too many stupid levels recently, but this is the worse.
Never have or will pay for moves. Only play on mobile.
Think I've finally had enough.
Thanks King -you've finally cured me.
See ya!

Anonymous said...

Totally mindless level which requires no brains or intelligence at all. Just shift candy around while watching reshuffles, about as interesting as watching paint dry.

Anonymous said...

To be blunt: this is another bullshit level that relies mainly on luck. After hundreds of attempts and not even getting anywhere close due to the stupid reshuffles and crappy boards, I am over it and deleting CC is getting pretty close.

Anonymous said...

This is the first level where I can't even come close to completing. I've been here for almost 2 weeks now and losing hope. If I would get down to 1 or 2 moves needed I would get excited, but nope. Not even close.

Anonymous said...

This level can be done in 50 moves and without boosters, but the luck element is a big factor. If the mystery candies contain nothing but chocolate, bombs or more blocks, then you may as well abort the attempt and start again.

Now, some comments say this is level is nothing but pure luck. That's not quite true.

In order to do it, you need to destroy most of the candies within 25 - 30 moves, and this comes to down to luck more than anything else.

However, if you can clear most of the candies and have about 20 moves left, then it does require a bit of skill to set up the right combinations. Swapping wrapped and striped or color bombs and striped will clear the board and set up lots of potential moves.

Having said that, this is not a level I would want to revisit!!!

Anonymous said...

In the above comment when I said destroy the candies in 25-30 moves, what I really meant to say was "destroy the two-hit and four-hit blocks".

If you can destroy them, then you have a chance.

Up to now, most of the levels were beatable with strategy and patience. This one is just ridiculously difficult with only luck and persistence. I admit I've bought my last few moves on several levels but I can't even get close on this one. Plus those little tornados are stressful and prevent any sort of planning at a all. Game deleted. I'll check back some day and see if the level is fixed but until then , I don't need this kind of frustration. Game is supposd to be challenging and fun. Not sure what they were thinking....

Bilbo said...

Another level that's challenging for sure. A lot of luck needed for sure. But that is the nature of the beast. I haven't got past this one yet in 2 days, but I won't give up.I was hoping to find some hints here but mostly find whining :). I play with the belief that I will eventually beat it, and King does not get any money from me on this type of level, I just wait for another free life and try again. If you are going to give up that is your choice, nobody's loss but your own, but please stop " clogging the blog" , just go away.

Anonymous said...

I've been close a few times. You gotta clear out the blocks rather quickly then start making combos. Take a break and go do something else for a while. Then come back and plan your attack. It will happen. I get pissed too but I usually get them within a day. Good luck!

Anonymous said...

Half a day and beat it. Clear the middle out and start making wrapped candies and the color bomb if you can. One color bomb with at least one stripe will help. It will work. Good luck!

Anonymous said...

The only strategy is to clear out the middle as quickly as possible and focus on making six wrapped candies. The level is more doable on Android than on a computer. The computer takes away moves for reshuffles. That being said, it still takes countless frustrating attempts. I too believe that you will only beat it when the game decides you've had enough. I refuse to spend money on the game. If the developers read this, GFY! I don't see the point of taking days to complete a level. It is not fun and way too tedious. Thank you and good luck everyone.

Anonymous said...

This board sucks. Those of you who have made it this far in Candy Crush know how to clear the board and really don't need any tips (sometimes the tips in this blog are useful, but the ones posted for this level are basically things anyone who plays the game already would know). My tips: 1) Basically, play until the Candy Crush gods feel sorry for you and stop dishing out one steaming pile of crap board after another. Or 2) Quit level 419 altogether and go back to the FUN board and try to beat your old scores.

I've played this level over and over again. It is pure luck.
So ready to delete the game at this point.

Anonymous said...

Played this level off and on for two days, hate that u lose a turn of the shuffle and also the lack of room to make good combo's in the beginning. If you get a couple lucky drops early and make wrapped, wrapped combo in the middle the level isn't hard after that. I really hate levels like this that have way to much luck in them to win. I did finish it with 4 moves to go but I did open it up early and fast. Good luck.

Anonymous said...

Sad that i am stuck forever on this level. Just not enough moves!

Anonymous said...

This level sucks! Been stuck for weeks!

Anonymous said...

I'll admit that this level nearly made me give up Crushing. On most attempts I never even go close but on some I came within one move, literally!! (As someone mentioned above, not helped by FB version taking a moved each time it shuffled.)

But I kept up my usual strategy of persistence and last night I go through!! I needed 3 wrapped candies with 3 moves left and it then 2 candies with only 1 moved left. Luckily when I blew up 1, another dropped into place and exploded as well...woo hoo!!

Anonymous said...

silly level pure luck makes me think about giving up but i ve thought that since level 165 which will haunt me forever lol xx good luck guys

Anonymous said...

Just keep on trying, and you will pass this level as well. And yes, like 147, 350, 410 and 417, this is a hard to pass level. And I agree, the amount of luck you need to pass this is way to big... This episode with the tornado's isn't as much fun as previous episodes. But it wouldn't be fun to complete 3 levels a day and/or finish the game within a 100 days. So, hang in and if you have come this far, you absolutely will pass this level as well. (350 and 410 took me much longer than this 419).
Good luck from the Netherlands!

I agree with the first comment on this blog. Candy crush you really need to get your act together or are you there only to make money on those poor people buying boosters.... those levels need to be hard i agree but also FUN... not fun for a long while now. Us that are now at level 300 and more (im 419) love to play but its getting less and less fun, but I guess you don't care cause you are only there for the money. I'm pissed off big time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The Fun-o-meter at the end of the level on pc should hopefully filter its way to the programmers and give them some clue to this levels popularity. Although the lowest setting only has 'Boring' where 'Very Boring' would be more apt. Wake me up when there are not 10+ shuffles or another bomb/chocolate maker/brick in the question blocks! Sort this out King, this is another pathetic level!

Anonymous said...

Of the 419 levels I have played this is by far a long way the most boring level of them all.

Anonymous said...

This level is plain boring and monotonous.Requires luck more than strategy.Have had other hard levels but nothing so boring as this.At least it will help clear my addiction to CC.

Anonymous said...

This level is really bad. They take away your moves & keep shuffling. No sklii to it. Really stinks!

Anonymous said...

This level really is not fun. You can't concentrate on making moves, the darn whirley's jut keep coming & the shuffling drives u nuts!

Anonymous said...

If this level is designed to get people to spend money, King is doing it wrong. It is one thing to buy a hammer to clear that last piece of jelly for a guaranteed win, and quite another to buy extra moves in hopes that the game will stop screwing you, when that has not been the trend. This level is even dumb as a money grab.

Anonymous said...

they must have fixed the glitch because i played on my mac and when it shuffled i did not lose any moves! It was not as difficult as i thought it would be, took about 5 tries! just go very slow and make sure each move helps! i concentrated on clearing the center square first so you can make the combos needed!

Anonymous said...

I have finally arrived at the level in which I see no fun in this game! Good riddance. To the designers, in case they do read this. People play games to have fun, yes, challenges are fun and I have never complained about any level, but this one is boring, pure luck, and undoubtedly doable, since others have passed it, but I refuse to play something that irks me to no end. Finally I can stop playing a game that was way too distracting see'ya!

I used to enjoy candy crush - it was a relaxing and fun game - now I'm frustrated. No game is worth that. I'm done.

Anonymous said...

Omg. I had one excellent board! Took it away with one yellow to get! No more good moves since! Cmon! Getting real tired of being on one level for so long! :( I continue to play and have NEVER bought a thing to help get this far! Give me a break!

Anonymous said...

What's the deal! So sick of this level! 419, you SUCK!!!!!

Unknown said...

I still can't pass this level! Sucks!

Anonymous said...

I've been playing this level for a while now and I don't think I've seen 100 yellows! And I am no good at getting bombs so I think this may take a while. Might be the end of me -

Anonymous said...

Annoying board. Been at it close to 40+ games so far. Closest was 28 shy of yellow and used the color bombs on the yellow. I'm hoping the tornadoes are less frequent once I pass this saga part. I used a color bomb and stripped wrapped candy to start on one game, and didn't get close. I did notice if u get chocolate, I would start over if u can't remove it quickly. If u get one chocolate, u will get more in that particular game. I can't imagine what the last lvl is like in this saga if these are more difficult. Keep at it. It will eventually happen :)

cherylcandycrush here.
Takes a couple of days to get through this and you do need a bit of luck, as always.

This level has a lot of reshuffles, which I think is always a sign of a problem with design.

My luck came from being able to make matches down the bottom of the board and several of the matches were yellows. Even so, lots of reshuffles.

If you get a colour bomb, matching it with any special candy will really help. Matching any special candies actually will help heaps.
Try to expose those surprise candies with the question mark too as some are wrapped candy.
IMO the surprise ones shouldn't be chocolate or a bomb, there is enough to contend with without that.
Just don't give up, even though things start slowly. And make and use any special candy, no matter what colour.
Good luck!

Anonymous said...

Chocolate bombs and wrappers come together too late. Almost quit CC when I was on level 410. Almost a month on it. This one is almost as inane. Tornadoes really screw you up. Got down to completing the bombs and wrappers but still had 45 yellows to go. Not impressed with creating enjoyment for the users.
