Candy Crush Saga Level 420

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 420 Candy Crush Saga
Level 420 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
A jelly level with chocolate machines blocking your moves.
You need to look carefully at the board and make special candies at every opportunity.
Colour bombs should ideally be switched with a stripe to clear the chocolate and blockers, but if you can't get them together use the colour bomb on any colour that is touching the most chocolate or cream blockers.
A stripe/wrap combo will do a lot of damage to the chocolate so use this combo if you can.
Don't let the chocolate take over too much but don't waste moves just chasing it, look always for special candy patterns and you should be able to pass level 420.

This level was of medium difficulty for me. But it was not all easy. Since level 400, i have spent days in a level.
* All your first few moves must destroy the 3-hit blockers in the middle, wrapped + wrapped combo will clear these just place it in the middle and it will slowly go down and clear chocolate.
* Striped candies can be helpful too. I made a wrapped +striped combo in the middle and when it blasted it cleared 1 layer of jelly. The most difficult to clear are the jellies in the left and rightmost part of the last row.
* Do you best to make a striped + color bomb combo as it can clear some remaining jellies. I was able to make this combo and it cleared almost all jellies.
* Do not let chocolate go to the top row as it will close the opening and no candies will fall through anymore.
* Concentrate on removing jellies in the bottom rows as jellies on top will simply be eliminated by cascades. Do not waste time clearing the top jellies. You need lots of moves to clear the lower part. So start attacking the middle when the game starts.

Ignore the top and clear out the bottom. The top jellies seemed to clear themselves. Candy On!!! Dean

Thought it's a easy one, but it took me a long time to beat.

While this level is about luck, it took me about a week of casual play to beat it.

I finally beat it when I had about 24 moves left and was able to mix a star burst with a striped candy which pretty much cleared up the rest of the blocks.

Are you serious, Candy Crush? Every time I get a chocolate ball with a stripe, a stupid tornado destroys it. I hate these levels so much. I miss playing the fun game this used to be. This is just stress inducing instead of releasing. And no break level. Hate,

Not too hard. Ignore the chocolates. Remove the centre blocks asap. Then down the middle. Horizontal stripes at the bottom.

This level seems a bit glitchy to me. There have been times when I went to use a stripe and nothing happened. Just now, I had a sprinkle/wrap combo and the game treated it like a wrap/stripe combo. WTH? Anyone else notice this happening? I know I'm not nuts! LOL

I am by no means ready to give up on this level yet, but there are definite glitches and Always biased towards then winning rather than you!

I just made a wrapped candy and the whole thing vanished into thin air!

If you make a striped candy then try to set it off, it occasionally doesn't do anything too.

As always extremely limited in any kind of move to make - often you just follow their suggestions because there is no alternative.

Maybe they rushed new levels in to keep up with the demand, but it's a shame it has such basic flaws!

In the last few games i have had 7 reshuffles in 15 moves because THERE ARE NO MOVES !

Come on mr and mrs king - sack whoever designed this level becausey we cannot play it!

I really really dont want to give up, but you dont need skill or expertise in a game with no moves.

People in tips above say try to concentrate on the lower levels......i would love to but the first 25 moves just mess about before we can even get there!

Sigh....

I started this game thinking it was skill...but as I have progressed it seems it is more of a game of chance, or luck. On this level it seems I plan and move only to loose the work to the cyclones. That does not appeal to me. Taking a break for awhile.

I have been left with 1 jelly, too many times. I am tired.

I get 1 jelly left almost all the time..just can't get that one jelly..ewww..so annoying...

Got it out on my 3rd go, concentrate on clearing the jellies at the bottom, the top jellies will take care of themselves..and most importantly make your combos!!!
GOOD LUCK...

Holy snot it worked. I've been stuck on this level for WEEKS. Bust through the middle first, then get to the bottom asap. Ignore combos and anything else until you get to the bottom. Then just focus on clearing the jellies as close to the bottom as possible. It worked on my first try.

not as nasty as 417 & 419, but still relying tremendously on luck to get any sort of combo/striped to help clear the middle in order to get a reasonable attempt at completing it. The boards have been pretty bad, shows why in soooo many reshuffles!!!

After close to 50 attempts of clearing the middle etc, I got the lucky board that even gave me 3 spotted which helped to clear the bottom after I took a chance & kept each one until I could use them to break a particular colour on the bottom 2 rows. I was very lucky the tornados did not destroy them first. these last few levels certainly rely on getting a lucky break so keep at it until the madness sets in :)

Time to quit!!!!! had 1 jelly left in the bottom right corner and a striped candy ready to drop i bought the extra moves and moved my striped into place guess what the tornado had a whole board to choose from and it choose the jelly the makers of this game really do take the **** and also the fun for me it shouldnt be about how much you can spend it should be about the skill good luck to you all :((((

I notice that every one else has 50 moves in this level and I only have 35 ? why is this ,no wonder I can't get close to clearing ,is this a fault or has this level changed ,its unfair ,please can someone inform me of how many moves this level has and why I only get 35 .

I would love to simply clear the center blocks but with 11 reshuffles and cyclones eating my next move the chocolate has the upper hand. Have seen just one speckle and two color bombs in 20 lives. As for striped combos, these don't seem to exist. I don't mind a challenge but this is just stupidity and totally unfair. Seems the Kings want anyone passing level 400 to call it quits.

I followed Constantine's advice and focused on working primarily the bottom to win this level with three stars on my first attempt.

I got lucky. I played it once and then my husband grabbed my ipad to play it, as he occasionally does, and he finished the level for me with one try! WOOT! He said he got 2 wrapped candies together that blew the heck out of everything.

I think the tornadoes on this lvl is geared to destroy special candies. I have been on this lvl a few days. I have noticed if special candies aren't used immediately, the tornadoes take them out after 3 moves.

Lots of fun. Plenty of striped and wraps and the odd sprinkle. The two bottom corners are the hardest so make the most of vertical striped on the far sides and try to get a horizontal striped on the bottom row, setting it off with a sprinkle if you have one.

It's taken me this long to work out that if you hit a tornado with a special candy eg striped or wrapped, it will destroy that tornado for a few moves before it reappears again. That said, there's a lot of luck in this batch of games.

Hadn't seen chocolate on this level. Been playing for a week. No problem clearing jellies except last 3 block row. Can't clear no matter what I do.

Anonymous said...

Three jellies in the middle won't go away. I even tried two color bombs - nothing.

Same here.
Web version.
Seems level has been changed and now has some programming error, making removal of the last 3 middle Jellys impossible.
