35 wrapped in 40 moves. Tricky but definately not impossible. As you are making your combo's try to remove all the frosting asap, so then you have the whole board to work with. Striped/wrapped best for that. You also can collect the wrapped that are stuck in there. Colourbombs are your best friend here, match it with the main colour on the board & it opens up more opportunities to make the wrapped. The less colours on the board the easier to make the wrapped.

Any advice for this one (besides always making wrapped candies whenever possible and being ridiculously lucky)? Been at it for two days and haven't gotten closer than 4 away...

At first look, this seemed impossible.

You must try to get combinations that will clear the jellies and open up & eliminate the 13 or so wrapped candies on the board at the start.

After playing 6 or 7 games, I got a board that allowed me to easily make wrapped candies. Because I had the board opened up, I got chain reactions that made many more wrapped candies.

Good luck! PM

Incredibly lucky sounds like the strategy. In the demo video he made 17 wrapped candies in 23 moves. That's not something you can do at will anytime you want. I've had the board opened up plenty, can't get many wrapped candies made after exploding what's there and can't get closer than 10 or so away from completing the order.

Beat it after about 10 tries.
Some tips:
1. Always look for MAKING wrapped candies. Try not waste your moves on clearing them. They will be cleared by chain reaction.
2. Color bombs and wrapped candies works the best. It helps to open the board very fast.

Good luck!

Another level that requires a lot of luck. Very frustrating that you have to lose a move for a re-shuffle :(

This is another level specially designed to make you part with your money :(:(:(

Impossible level. :(:(:(

The fact that he had 6 moves left and 4 wrapped to go is unbelievable

I have wrap candies enough to go thru, but not enough moves left to explode them to get counts!!! and NO am NOT buying extra moves!

I'm still working on this one but wanted to mention to be careful with color bomb + striped combos because wrapped candies will be turned into striped ones before exploding and you're going to need all that you can get.

I just finished the level and had the greatest success using this methodology. First obviously look for wrapped candies to make. Once the board is opened up also look to make color bombs. When I couldn't make matches I'd use a color bomb with either a wrapped candy or a regular candy and cross fingers for chain reaction wrapped candies to be made. If no color bomb was available I'd explode a wrapped candy and again hope for more chain reactions. Yes some luck is required, but I had very little luck trying to manipulate the board to make wrapped candies using strategy. You simply don't have enough moves for this strategy to work very well. Good luck!

Holy clouds I thought I would be stuck in this level for months and lo and behold passed it on my 12th attempt! 3 stars topping all my friends and no boosters! I almost quit on the level then suddenly I passed on my last move!

Requirement: 35 wrapped candies
*This looks like a nightmare of a requirement and yes it really is. There are no amount of tips to post here to help you strategize but just luck mostly.
At the start of the game check the board of you can start busting some wrapped candies on your first move, if it does not then restart and restart it until it givesyou a good board.
*You must have started bursting the frozen wrapped candies on your 35th move, because you need the rest of the moves to make your own wrapped believe me. Number of moves should always be greater than the number of wrapped candies made, if it goes the other way then you will lack moves to make more wrapped you are in big trouble.
*Always make wrapped or color bombs. Do not make striped candies because if you do the board will give you mystery candies and lots of opportunities to make stripes! Just let the cascade of wrapped burst then if it stops make a color bomb + regular candy combo. It eliminates some colors and gives you more chances to make wrapped candies.

Just make wrapped candies! That is the important note here. Lots of luck to you all! Thank you for the walkthrough video and tips!

This level is again not the player playing the game but the game itself playing the game.
In my first 5 attempts, the best one was having 7 left.
But when I noticed the behaviour and change tactic, it got it immediately.
My tactic is simple and straight forward.

1. At the very begining, try your best to clean all the rock. DO NOT use chocolate+strip as it may change the wrap to strip accidently.
2. After all the rock clean, DO NOT try to "plan" for it unless it take you 1 or 2 move to create a wrap, you should try to bomb whatever you can. What I want is dropped "question mark" candy which is potentially the wrap.

Good Luck

Lei had the best advice! I had played several times before checking this handy page! Don't try for striped... After clearing the blocks, I focused only on wrapped and cleared it on the next try. Yes there is a lot of luck involved, but skill in setting up wrapped and wrapped speckled did it for me!

I found out that the best way to start this level is with a combination. I restarted the level over and over until I was able to match the wrapped candy in the middle with another wrapped or striped candy. That will open up the board pretty nicely. The rest is pure luck. I was trying for two days when suddenly the wrapped ones came dropping like mad so that I finished with still 15 moves left. Good luck! - Gabi

Great deal of luck required. Keep exploding the wrapped candles.

Bloody hell, if it wasn't hard enough as it is, it's not counting all my wrapped candy, I had 4 that went off but it only counted as 1 off my 35,no wonder I am not getting thru :( not happy Jan

In my humble opinion:

This is NOT a difficult level at all IF you know the strategy.

This is much more about strategy than luck, and it’s not difficult, but you have to use ALL the strategy tips. I got it on my second try once I did this, with 8 moves to spare. Missing just ONE will can hours of ‘fun’ on the same level. I’m repeating Lei’s tips, as well as others:

1. Like she says, do not start without a wrapped candy ready to be made. It’ll take between 10 to 15 restarts, and it’s obviously worth it compared to 15 attempts.
2. As counter intuitive as this is, focus on clearing blocks RATHER than activating wrapped candies, UNLESS that’s the best move to clear blocks. This is probably the single thing that caused me to repeat the level mindlessly until I changed it.
3. When there are no moves, that’s the only time you should explode a wrapped, and this should always be at the bottom when possible because cascades create most of your extra wrapped candies, not the ones you create yourself.
4. Make a color bomb ONLY if there are no wrapped candies to be made. Do not choose making a color bomb over a wrapped candy, that could be two moves that net you nothing versus one that did.
5. Choose the most prevalent color with your color bomb.
6. All the other tips on Lei’s Nov 3 post. Thanks Lei! Not from Hawaii are you?

I’d love to hear feedback on if this saves anyone hours of their life (ah, they’ll never know) – I wasted three of mine on this level, when it could have been much less.

I started out by playing this one on the ipad but spent several weeks fighting a losing battle. It's either glitchy or in one of it's "you're not going to win this level because we haven't updated enough beyond this one" moods. Stripes wouldn't clear the entire row, not all wraps were counted when they exploded, and so on, the usual tricks.

So, I finally switched to the FB version on my laptop and cleared it in one try. Might that be because the pc version has many more levels? I think, yes.

Anyway, it's done, wasn't hard, make wraps, etc. Unless you're on a mobile device....

Trying to follow the above strategies but not having any luck. I thought the last couple of levels were tough. Need a lucky break. This is frustrating!

I spent 3 days playing this level on my IPad and some on my phone. After reading the above comment I decided to try it on my PC. After just a few tries I passed the level. Thanks for the comment about passing it on the PC. Good Luck!

Anonymous said...

Passed it on the 4th try with 8 moves left...if you get lucky and can get most of the board open as fast as possible, the wraps pretty much form themselves during the cascades.

Anonymous said...

Do not play on mobile phone. It is very much easier on PC/laptop facebook. I completed successfully on facebook at 1st try. Another tip is to flush the wrapped candle asap as new one will appear immediately automatically.

Making warpped/bombs and wait for chain reactions. Cleared it at second attempt with 12 moves to spare!

Anonymous said...

I have been counting the ones I have created. Adding on the 13 hidden ones seems the game is cheating me. I made 17 so should have scored 30. Not so. Then kept a close count and every time did not get full credit. I deliberately avoided making wraps, destroyed everything and scored 10 so why did I not get 13?No wonder many people can not pass this level. The overall average is 21 out of 35 counted over 10 games which includes the 13 hidden ones. You will only pass this level with luck but have better chance in a lottery.

this level is easily beaten on a pc. I played for days on my tablet to no avail. beat it on the second try on my pc.

3 days trying endlessly on my iphone and ipad with no luck. i usually don't use the PC to play but decided to give it a shot and passed on first attempt. best part was the wrapped candies kept making themselves and i had to do minimal work. 6 moves to spare. finally done with that crap. until the next bitch.....

I cannot believe how often I manage to clear a level after I have read suggestions here. I don't do anything differently, but luck catches up with me while I have this time out. Love this.
Onwards and upwards!

Anonymous said...

Get really lucky. That's all you can do. And try to make wrapped candies (duh).

Anonymous said...

Why does the above video not have any yellow?
Also the wrapped candies are exposed!
I'm on iPhone and have yellows and the wrapped are covered by a filiment!

Only took about 25 tries to finish this level. Just go slow and look for matches carefully. Use color bombs to take out a color to make matches easier. And as always, you need some luck! Keep crushing :)

Officially hanging up my candy crush hat. Level 453 has done me in. On to something else.

Anonymous said...

I am using I pad, cannot make wrapped candies very often, when I try to set it up to get wrapped candies something always ruins it! Guess I can try on my computer, that is if it works, just aggravating playing and never getting enough wraps..grrr... I still will keep trying.

Definitely a glitchy level on ipad !!! Just made and blew up 9 wrapped candies - but the game only registered 2 !!!!also - the ? Candies - i have had whole boards where EVERY SINGLE ONE - has either been a chocolate block or a merigne - or a bomb - where i have not been given one wrapped or striped candy ! I dont have a PC - so im skrewed - looks like this may be the level that makes me gice it up !!

Been on this level for a good 4 days now. gotten 34/35 on mobile. has nothing to do with skill, only way i've gotten close is when the game decides to start chain reaction-ing making wrapped candies for me in the process. all luck, just depends on when King decides its time to move ya on

Anonymous said...

This is a luck only board... Well game. Just isn't as fun as before.

i dont see what the big deal is. i just won after 3 tries!

Got this level on the second try playing on my Android phone. I thought that thirty-five wraps was ridiculous, even if the game spotted me some. I was able to make Y-shape and L-shape wraps immediately, so after every move, I examined the board and looked for wraps to make. I did not worry about setting them off since that seemed to happen automatically. Stripes were useful for clearing cream and unfreezing wraps. I did not bother with sparklies, but wrapped/striped was useful too. The luck component--cascades that produce lots of wraps--was also a factor. I was surprised that I made this level so quickly.

Anonymous said...

I've made it this far, and anyone who tells us this is a relatively easy level is out of their mind.

I have not come close in two weeks. Prepare for a long ride, baby.

Anonymous said...

I just read the comments here after trying this level many, many times on my phone and decided to try it on facebook as suggested. I passed easily on my first try without even being able to reset the board (because it was facebook) The wrapped candies seemed just to make themselves - weird.

Anonymous said...

c/candycrush here.

Hardish level, been at it a few days.

Obviously make a stripe if you can, but if you can't, make anything and explode it asap. You basically need to have cleared most of the board by move 25 because the sooner you clear it, the sooner you can start the candies cascading and that seems to generate more stripes.

Explode everything in sight (after looking for opportunities for wrapped ones to make), just get them tumbling as far and fast as possible and eventually you will get a game that does it.

Wrapped are good but stripes and colour balls are your friends too.

Anonymous said...

oops-that should read-make a wrap if you can.

Michelle dv said...

Gosh, I must have got lucky. I got it out in 4 lives. I focused only on wraps - uncovering them and making them. Combining two wraps together several times got me most of my orders as well as clearing the board. Then, with only a two moves to go, and one wrap short, I finally got a sprinkle and I then matched it with the colour of an unexploded wrap. I hope some of you have the same luck as me.

Raylo said...

I wondered the same thing about not getting credit for exploded wraps! I'm on an iPad as well. Hmmmmmm.

Anonymous said...

I didn't expect the upper rounds to be easy, but I am going to quit buying extra moves, etc., to get to the next level, because now, it is like jumping out of the frying pan, right into the fire. The next one is no better, so may as well stay on this one!

Finally!!!!!

Please... anybody... any tips for 453 on Dreamworld? This seems like a joke, and a very unstable Odus is driving me insane!

Dexter said...

Phew! Finally! Level seems to be modified, 3 instead of 2 moves in moonstruck now, twice. I guess that helped too.

Anonymous said...

I was on that crasy number since two weeks! Try today as I read to do it on my PC, and have it on my second try. Easy to have wrap... Grrrrrrr...

Probably be ok if I had 40 moves instead of the 24 I am getting.. impossible
