Hints and tips showing how to pass level 455 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect green, orange and blue candies to complete level 455 Candy Crush Saga.
Don't worry too much about the bombs, you will be able to keep them under control as long as you look for special candies and combos. If you can make stripes you can use them to uncover the colourbombs on the left and at the bottom of the board. The colourbombs can be used to clear whatever colour is beside them.
You need to create some cascades to collect the most candies of any colour, but don't waste moves trying to make matches of 3 or 4 just to collect the orders, you will need to just look for combos and use them to clear as many candies as possible and get the cascades going.

I finished level 410 and it appears to be last level. But I see there is more. How do I get to them?
You need to play 411-455 on the computer.
This may sound sort of silly, but I did better on this level when I zoomed in and played it at 150% instead of 100% - it made it easier to see the colors behind the bomb numbers and where combinations were possible. Once I did this, it took me only 2 tries.

From one Anon to another...I also finished first try, 3 stars, no cheats, score 2,192,260. I have never commented here before but do want to say I find Shawn's and others comments extremely helpful. I never watch the video but check comments before I ever start a level. It helps a lot!!! If you are frustrated with a level that is fine we have all been there. I see no reason to resort to insulting comments. Keep trying or quit playing. I would hate for people to stop trying to help others because they are being ridiculed. Now put on your big girl panties and get back to the game.

Did this on my first try too and I still haven't used a booster/cheat so it is possible
I don't suggest using bombs and stripes as it illuminates all the bombs under the jelly. Try to make colour bombs and pick off colours. Either the colours you need or lots of a colour you don't need as that eliminates that colour making the odds of creating another colour bomb quite high. Try to keep a colour bomb at all times to get rid of those pesky bombs. Good luck. I quite enjoyed this level.
someone commented to play to 455 0n computer and i assumed 456 would be available ion the iphone, but im at 461 and still only goes to 440 on my phone, so dont get your hopes up...good luck!!
Took me about ten tries. I found it helpful to remove one of the jellies between the chocolate bombs on the left side with a stripe. Like this two chocolate bombs will fall upon each other and by switching them you can wipe out the whole board when the bombs are down to one move. -Gabi
I too passed this on my first try with no cheats or boosters. Woo hoo!!! On to playing on laptop only. Thanks everyone for all your helpful hints - they certainly help.
Found it difficult to look at the layout and see the patterns at first. Good game.
Got it on the second try. Quite easy. Found it better to not mix spotty chocolate with stripe as it kind of used all your spotty chocolates all in one go. Use them one by one.
Thought I'd be stuck on this for weeks, but got it on my 10th life :) now got to wait for. king to hurry up and give us some more levels to play on my iPod, good luck everyone it's not as hard as it looks.
I'm still at level 448 but wanted to check comments to see if other people are waiting for more levels on their phones. The last time none appeared, I uninstalled the game from my phone and played the next level on the computer. Then I reinstalled on my phone, logged in with Facebook and had more levels. Has anyone tried this yet or will it be futile?

and honestly, why can 't updates be sent to iphone? been waiting here on 455 all done forever. obviously i have better things to do, but this was a fun pastime! most of my friends got tired of waiting. guess i will stop waiting and move on, too:)
As of this morning, Android has the next episode on it. Check your phones! I'm still stuck at 452 but I just wanted to give a shout out to those patiently waiting for more levels.
If you are waiting for an update to candy crush, see if your machine will do an auto update. On my I pad I found this seemed to happen automatically by virtue of the last iOS 7 update.
Currently playing this level on my PC and iPad, but Amazon have not updated for the Kindle yet so still only up to 440

I agree to use color bombs and pick off colors one at a time and it sure didn't hurt if a stripe fell next to one. Took out a bunch of bombs that way. 1st try 2,485,580 Lots of fun!!!

Finished 455 4days ago, then they gave me level 70 as a quest. Gotta have over 100 tries already and just can't get the points I need to advance even though I cleared all the jellies many times. Very frustrating
I have no idea how I passed this level but thank goodness I finally did. And, I've yet to figure out the "pattern" someone referred to above. Never understood what I was supposed to do so just kept trying to keep the bombs from bursting and all of a sudden, done!! Wish I could give some tips.

I don't see any pattern! This level makes no sense. Just stupid bombs that keep going off. Ready to quit! This is not fun!
completed first try! looks hard but if you go slow it's actually quite easy!! the chocolate bombs with stripes helps! just keep track of how much time you have on your lowest timed bomb!

Got this one on the fourth try. I had success in keeping the bottom row free of bombs. If one drops in there, especially in the corner, it is hard to get rid of. Once unfrozen, I used the sparklies to help clear one of the needed colours, or take out a bomb with a low count on it. I had adjacent sparklies in case I needed to clear the board, but did not have to use them. I found that concentrating on making combos with the required colours, and doing all that is possible to keep bombs out of the detached bottom rows helped. Then, when the lowest bomb counter was higher than the moves left, I used my remaining sparklies to clear needed colours. Ended up with 3.1 million points.
Fun level. Go slow and watch those bombs. Use sprinkles to eliminate the bombs about to go off. Working from the bottom takes care of most bombs, makes the most of cascades and enables more sprinkles to be made. The 3 extra sprinkles I made saved me because I couldn't get to all those under the jelly.

To won 1st time anonymous, I didn't see any hints Shawn left for anyone, just gloating,like you just did, then insulting, which you also did. Maybe you should keep refraining from commenting, that way you won't have foot in mouth disease. I see 2 people with braggatitis, Shawn & you. It is a hard level, no need to make others feel bad then tell them to quit, that's just rude.
It's more than likely because u have an iphone, I can get all levels on my Samsung. My bro can only get 8 lines of text on his iPhone, I can get a whole screen of text. While iPhone can do somethings the Samsung can't, Samsung can do somethings iPhone can't, it's a wash.
Having a very difficult time, can't get close with full boosters or none. Posting for luck. Good luck to all !
