OK - I can't be the only that is having trouble with this level. How the heck do you get 25 stripes in only 25 moves when you mostly get bombs and licorice? I haven't got it down to even 10 yet! A color bomb/stripe combo is the only hope and that is quite difficult with so many barriers/bombs/licorice in the way!
This was a fun level. You pretty much need 2 combinations of color bomb and stripped. Before you connect them, try to be sure you have many of whatever color the strip is on the board.
As others said, two color bombs and stripes work. I found that you really need to get that first color bomb within the first few moves and quickly get a stripe. Then, you'll have enough moves left to line up your next combo. That said, there's just a lot of luck where the candies fall. I did it with 11 moves left. After trying numerous times. Just luck.
The closest I got was 7 stripes left! I used a sprinkle from the booster wheel and matched it with a red stripe. I couldn't make another sprinkle so I just kept making individual stripes. This level is definitely challenging with the licorice and the bombs!
I absolutely hate this level. It's too hard to focus on building color bombs when you're watching exploding bombs. Or if you get lucky enough to build a color bomb then you have to move a stripe to it. I've done quite a few times but doing it twice seems impossible.
It comes down to luck, if you can make the 2 sprinkle candies or are lucky enough that they drop in form above, you are almost there by only having to match with some striped. If you are unlucky not to get any sprinkled.....you are screwed!!!
Easier said than done to get 2 sprinkled striped combos. Once more, like most of these games now, you need to get a lucky board. There is not a lot of fun playing at this level when it always comes down to the CC god deciding it is your turn to pass.
Glad to know I am trying the right strategy in attempting sprinkle/stripe combos. Licorice and bombs are killing me!Will just have to wait for the lucky board. very frustrated!
It was pretty obvious from the start that one sparkly/stripe combination was needed, so the effort was to form the sparklies, while avoiding the bombs, though many seemed to disappear on its own. It helps to be able to make the first sparkly on the first move, which was the case when I got this level. I managed to quickly get a stripe against it and set it off, and then used the remaining moves to get another sparkly and another stripe for the win. Got the level with four moves to go, but only one-star points.
Yep, you need two sprinkles combined with stripes. I suggest you work low (to maximise the chances of this) while ignoring the bombs (most sort themselves out and if not, then the sprinkle stripe combo will.) If your bomb reaches 1, then exit and start again. It took me three tries.
Can people PLEASE stop spelling the word "striped" with 2 p's. It's driving me crazy. Unless of course you're talking about someone taking their clothes off!??
I had trouble with this level. But, I finally got it! If possible, Try to get a stripe next to a color bomb. Or whatever the multi-color balls are called! I needed to do that 2 or 3 times! On to 477!

Just luck. And this morning I had luck!

Chocolate bomb did the trick. Enjoyable.

Everyone is right. You need 2 stripe and wrap combos. Completed after a few tries.
Just got to this level tonight. Thanks for all the great posts. I may have to start fresh in the morning.
Just can't do it!!!! Help
Just did it!!! Very difficult, two color bomb with stripes. Keep trying!
I haven't finished this one yet, but I'm finding it helpful to hit the top licorice piece on the first move to prevent them from fall for a few turns

not as bad as i thought, got it on the last move you do need two chocolate bombs paired with stripes! but the stripes were not that hard to make!

I hate this level! Nothing is working-or falling in place. I'm having more trouble keeping the bombs from exploding! Time to quit this crap.
