Candy Crush Saga Level 482

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 482 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
The aim of level 482 is to collect purple and blue candies,
First you will need to clear some of the blockers down the middle by making matches next to the, this will give you space to work.
All the time you should be looking for chances to make stripes, wraps and especially colourbombs, don't just concentrate on collecting the blue and purple candies, it won't work.
Work close to the bottom of the board as much as possible and always try to make combos, the combos will collect the colours for you.
As long as you keep making combos the bombs shouldn't be a problem, but keep your eye on them as they don't have a long countdown.

If the level you play is different from the one here it is because the developers have changed it since I played and I have no control over this. Please let me know in the comments and I will try to change it.

Tried more than 20 times not to open the side columns, but still fail.
However, if you are lucky enough to make a lot of combos, it's much easier to collect the orders and kill the timer bomb at the same time.
I beat it with 15 moves left with a lot of combos.

A colourbomb/striped combo did it for me

Clear as much of the bottom as you can prior to inevitably having the bombs come down. I used the bombs to create combos when I could and cleared it on 3rd attempt with 7 moves left. Not bragging just got the combos..

Another horribly difficult level😁

After days on this one, I finally made progress with this strategy: Clear the bottom quickly and avoid opening the top corners as long as possible. Make as many combos as possible for chain reaction explosions. Especially wrap/stripe or sprinkle/stripe. Use the bombs in combos. Don't worry about colors or diffusing individual bombs, just concentrate on combos. I got down to 2 purples left to clear with 6 bombs ready to blow. I extended bomb life by 5 turns and finished it off. Best $1.99 I ever spent.

I decided to play Dreamland for a bit and take a rest from regular Candy Crush. This level, like many others in the 400 series, is hard! Dreamland is a nice change from all the obstacles. I will finish at some point. Just need a break from this madness!

i followed the above method with lots of combos and got it first go with 7 moves left and a score of over 750000

its easy once you get the wrapped and striped combos

I have been playing Dreamland for the past week and suddenly Odus the Owl has disappeared from my screen. Has anyone else had this happen? I already completed the 65 levels. I've just been trying to improve my scores.

I still have dreamland. It has been a nice break from regular CC.

I got Dreamland back. Must have been a glitch. I have enjoyed it as well. I suppose I will finish Candy Crush at some point. I just really hate those bombs!

Surprise! Surprise! After leaving this alone for a week and playing all 65 levels of Dreamland, I came back to level 482 and passed it on my second try! I played the bottom and middle of the columns, trying to keep the bombs at bay for as long as possible. I suddenly realized I had 7 purple & 3 blue left to get. The bombs all had time left so I made my combos and finished!!!!

I always read the hints but on this occasion I find those totally useless. I seems all crap that one can easily clear the center when starting at the bottom. Have gone through almost 200 lives and cannot get past maybe 12 moves before my board blows up. I take my time and study next move but there is always a bomb which is impossible to get. Might as well give up and try a different game because this level is beyond me. Get a chocolate ball but no stripe is nearby and always there is a bomb ready to blow. So what is the use continuing? I thought CC was a game to enjoy and not a gamble but this level surely is just the luck of the draw. Just like a poker machine, put in your money, push the button and hope for a lucky drop. Those machines are programmed to benefit the house and so is this level. I don't think Mr. King likes me as I never get a decent board such as the one shown in the demo above. Just look at how many freckles appear there. I call myself lucky to get just one and then it is useless. For those who succeeded I say congratulations. I don't think I will ever be able to crack this one.

See my comment 13 January 2014 03:08. In desperation to crack this level I decided to go for broke and blow up whatever comes along. Guess what!! I have one move left - a bomb is about to blow and I need just 3 blues. There was one. hooray..hooray!! Made it. Looks as though I am still in it. Mr. King must have felt sorry for me and helped dry my tears.

This level is so frustrating. I have tried all tips, but can't even get close before a bomb explodes. Can't get close enough to make a purchase to move on. There was one other level that was almost as frustrating, but this one takes top spot in level of frustration.

Maybe I got lucky, but I thought this level was fun. The combos came down very easily and just a little bit of maneuvering got me through.

Got it on my 8th or 9th go.

Clear the screen as quickly as possible, then just play hard and fast for multiple combos and the blue/purple count and the bombs are not an issue.

I don't think this level is as hard as it seems at first. Wasted some lives because I was too busy making combos and forgot about the bombs, but just getting rid of them made more combos. Concentrate on blowing p the middle column and stripes, wraps and color bombs will appear.

This is really one of the most fascinating levels so far. I really enjoyed it. It took me about 20 tries to complete it (reading this weblog about 2-3 times). In this level one wrong move will cost you an extra attempt. So take your time!

I had one colour bomb/stripe combo and a lot of wrapped candies, of which one 2 to next to eachother and one or two wrapped/stripe combos and multiple singe stripes.

Main focus is to keep at least one side free of bombs falling down, otherwise, your fighting the bombs in stead of making combos and get the 2 x 77 candies.

I was glad there were no chocolate machines and tornados in this level and the funny thing in this level is that you know you can do it, but it will takes you a lot of focus! It's not an easy one, but real fun.

Up to the next level! Looking forward to it.

Good luck from the Netherlands

Got this one after 4 tries. Focused on making combos rather than the bombs. You do have to watch them though. Got 3 stars also.

got it second try, stayed on the bottom making combos as long as possible, was able to get two wrapped candies next to each other which cleared out all the bombs and then chocolate bomb with stripe then a chocolate bomb next to a blue to get the last few blue's needed!

The bottom line is:

Work at the bottom as long as possible setting up striped, wrapped or disco balls. Keep an eye on the bombs and use them in your combos.

Ignore the bombs, they'll be gone when you match your combos.

Keep an eye on the number of blue or purple you need after matching a few combos! They add up fast!!

Good luck. :)

Yay Me, did it first go!! With three stars!! Easily found heapd of combos etc that soon got rid of bombs.. Good luck all crushers

I don't know how anyone could beat this stupid level. I'm tired of trying. It doesn't give me enough combinations to be able to get the blue and purple. This is the most aggravating level yet!!!!!

I guess I'm done with candy crush! I've tried to beat 282 for too long now. This isn't even fun anymore. I've read all the helps and watched the videos and I think they were just lucky. Obviously not happening for me!!

Gosh, you can spend you whole time chasing your tail on this one.

I opted to focus on making a sprinkle stripe combo which then got me most of my orders. I then had seven moves to get the rest which was easy. Took me six lives to get it out.

This is where I left candy crush. I guess I reached my level of candy crush incompetence. Gramma

For me this was one of those levels where I passed quickly on my Mac after getting no where on my iPad. None of the suggestions above helped until I switched to the Mac.
