I got this after a few tries by saving up as many stripes & wrapped above the barrier as possible and then releasing them one after the next. Otherwise the chocolate just eats up the space you cleared. Get rid of the chocolate & the rest is easy sailing.
Ive gotten the chocolate cleared early a few times, then had to wait for the ingredients to drop onto the screen. I hate when they time the last one to be 5 moves before your out.
easy level finished on first attempt, all you need to do is work on clearing choco quick .. then you are ready to go .. any combo will help, specially larger ones ..
I was very lucky and got it on the first try. A color bomb matched with a stripe very early on cleared the board nicely then it was just a matter of moving the items down.
There must be a bug in the new mobile iPad game. I get three out of the four down with plenty of moves to spare and the fourth ingredient either comes down on the last move, or never comes down!
Anyone else had this problem?

Yes it's true. I was able to clear the chocolate with a bomb/stripe combo with my second or third move and could get down the ingredients as soon as they appeared. I just got lucky with the combos, but it took the next ingredient way too long to appear. And the last one never came. - Gabi
Actually, the next try after writing this all the ingredients appeared within twenty moves but I couldn't bring them down. The next try I was lucky again and brought down three of them. I saved a striped/wrapped combo until the end. The last cherry came with one move left. I used the combo and finished. So keep trying, you can succeed even on iPad. - Gabi
Not good, the last ingredient just doesn't appear. I have lots of moves left and think I'm doing really well but the last one doesn't drop down!?! I'm playing on my iPhone, is it a glitch?
Same with me on the iPad. My last ingredient doesn't drop until the last move so have had no chance to clear it. Rubbish!
Been down to last ingredient several times with plenty of moves left and it never comes. Happened on both the iPad and iPhone. They need to get this fixed quick.
Had the same isse. On my iPhone, the ingredients come down every 8 moves (with 32, 24, 16, and 8 moves left). It seems that the ingredient only comes out on that move if I do a move in the UPPER half of the board. I assume its a glitch that they will fix eventually, but if you don't want to wait, try doing that.
Fix this bug please can not win ?? Last fruit not coming down till last go ....... Ahhhhh
I'm having same issue. Most of my attempts I don't get the last fruit at all :(. Please fix!!!!!
Definitely a bug on this level, got down to one move having cleared 3/4 fruit and the last one never appeared. FIX it.

I agree with all the above comments. Loads of moves left , no chocolate in site but either the last 1 or 2 fruit never even show on the board. Definitely a bug on the ipad. Will try it on my android phone to see if that's the same. If it is, then it looks like this level is going to have to be completed on the PC!
Me too, even if I have 20 moves left, that last fruit won't come. Unable to finish ! Crap
This is rubbish. Time after time I'm waiting for ingredients as my moves run out. The level is impossible. 20 moves left with one cherry to drop and it doesn't ever appear.

I have that problem too on my Android phone. It's extremely frustrating!!!
So how do we let the programmers know this level is broken. The 4th fruit never appears. Any beta testing should have revealed problems. I am done with cc
Same here. The ipad never did bring down the last one. I've gone through many many lives and have not had the last ingredient fall until the last or not at all. It's irritating. But, I'm no quitter.

very frustrating , 1 ingredient left with 24 moves left , didnt come down until 4 moves left . sort this out !!
On my phone I couldn't get all the ingredients to come down. In fact out of probably 20 tries I would play most of them with 15+ moves left waiting for the last one or two ingredients that never showed up. Passed it the first time on the PC. I think there may be a bug in the phone app.
This is my first time posting and I want to say I love this site! I really appreciate all the tips! So I found this level very weird! I was playing on my iPad and could not get the last two ingredients to drop down, as noted by so many before me. I took the advice to play it on my PC, but I could not get it to reset to level 498. I couldn't get my iPhone to reset, either. Out of frustration (or maybe it's obsession), I came back to my IPad. Again, all the ingredients didn't drop down! I would like to note that all the games I played required 3 cherries and 3 acorns. Suddenly, as I began a new game, the requirement changed to 2 cherries and 2 acorns!!!! What in the heck made that happen out of the clear blue??? I mastered it on the first try!! P.S. Remove the chocolate first! RC

Really? Bugs at this level? The 4th fruit appears at the last move, or not at all! I do not mind a challenge, or even waiting for those "magic" boards - but, this is literally impossible until the the "bright " minds at King fix the bug. So wanting to be done with Candy Crush. I loved it from the beginning, tolerated the "impossible" levels - but this level appears to be designed to make many give up, the end - with bragging rights - so close! I also wasnt getting the last ingredient to drop. Then I read a comment above and switched to playing the top half when I wanted an ingredient. They all managed to come down! the last cherry appeared with 5 moves to go. Hope that helps.
I counted and had 8 moves between clearing fruit and having next one come down, even blowing stripes and such hoping that would help... Cleared chocolate right away, but how do you do this if it takes so long between fruit? Guess you can, maybe I got a bad board or something.
To circumvent the missing ingredient bug, make sure you wait before clearing any ingredient. They do show up like clockwork at 32, 24, 16, and 8 moves left, but the last one (at 8) shows up only if the other three are still on the board. Bug or deliberate feature ? I say bug.
It is level 498 so it can't be so easy. There must be at least 1 challenge. Slow down and wait until you see all 4 ingredients before blasting away.
Third attempt. Clear chocolate then combinations as usual.
C'moon! Stop complaining so much, and read the tips that people have left!
HERE IS A WAY TO PASS THE LEVEL:
After getting 3 ingredients, MAKE A MOVE IN UPPER SECTION and the fourth ingredient will drop. Tried it twice on iPhone and got it to work both times.
This is a level that you should not do too well too soon. (BTW have you noticed how easy it is to get a combo? Something is not right huh!) If you clear the chocolate blocks then you'll not see the last ingredient at all. So here is the deal, keep the chocolate blocks under control but do not try to clear them. Do not use a combo unless you have all the ingredients. Do that and you will see the last ingredient at exactly 8 moves to go. Then you have 8 moves to finish the task.
I've completed this level a number of times by saving a freckle/stripe combo until the last ingredient appears. So it is not a bug, it is just a tough level like 498 should be.
Finally someone who realizes that these higher levels are supposed to be tough. Thank you for saying what I keep telling people that keep complaint about how hard they ars. That's the idea!
This level is frustrating because of the bugs. I usually have plenty of moves left but the last ingredient won't come out until the last move. But whenever I have yet to crack the bottom all 4 ingredients are out and ready to go. They really need to fix this mess.
Same here, 20 moves left and no ingredients come down. Sounds fixed to me. I dont believe those who say they got it right away.

Completed second try on the computer after having the problem with the 4th ingredient not dropping on my Android tablet - annoying bug. AS

Glad it's not just me. On second thought, I wish it was just me because if it was that would reduce our cumulative frustration. I was crushing this level and the last cherry never came.

This is not a bug, it is intentional. Twice I cleared the chocolate and had lots of moves left only needing one cherry. Once it came down on the last move and once it did not come down. I was ready the third time and saved a vertical stripe until the last move and that is where it came down. Beat the level. JB

Fairly easy level to me. Used verticals to break thru bottom. Once chocolate is cleared it's gone.
I'm playing on PC. No bugs for me. Got it out first time. I had already removed three fruit and all the chocolate. The last fruit appeared on 8 moves remaining. So, maybe all the bugs have been fixed.
