Tips for level 658 Candy Crush Saga
As well as the jelly you can see there is also jelly under all the cream blocks under the bomb dispensers.
You need vertical stripes and strip/wrap combos to clear the top row.
Colour bomb/stripe combo can be useful too.

The first order of business is to unlock at least one of the locked candies, either just with a simple match-3 or a vertical stripe. If you have a board where that's not possible, there's pretty much nothing you can do.
Next start making vertical stripes (or stripe/wrap combos). You need to open up one of the cream-covered squares in the top row, so you're going to have to hit the same square twice. Any moves that aren't making or setting off vertical stripes should be dedicated to charging the frog. As soon as there's an open square in the top row, move the frog up there.
Now concentrate on making color bombs (and more vertical stripes). I used the color bombs to recharge the frog quickly, and then moved him over to any other open spot in the top row.
Repeat as necessary, and just focus on the cream-covered top row. The bottom will take care of itself.

so bombs again CC!!!
Unlock the row with vertical combinations. Then more vertical combinations to clear the top row. Move the frog to the top when possible. Chocolate bomb very useful. Good fun compared to some of the previous levels.
This is almost as bad as 655. Every space in the top row has to be hit 3 times. Unlocking the licorice is a tedious task. The bombs often go off before I'm able to get a combo to knock it out. You cant use the frog up there either because the only way to move it again is a color bomb matched with the frog color. I'll be stuck here a while. Horrible level!
Correction. I have to hit each top square 4 times!
Finally completed it after being stuck more than 2 days on this level. Tough one!
I'm reading the tips, however, it's much easier said than done. Not a fun level. Very boring after being stuck over 4 days.
Interesting... After posting the above comment, I won the level. I did it by getting two color bombs several moves apart, but matching them with striped candy of colors on the very top row. The frog wasn't much help.
This level is too busy. I can't beat the bombs. Before I can clear the top row, I blow up. UGH!
This level is BS...
That has to be the luckiest video board I have ever seen, can I please have one of those.
I agree with the comment above that this level is total BS. almost ready to quit.
The first time I played this level I didn't even notice the top row until bombs started blinking at me. Still, I came within one jelly square of finishing until the bombs blew me up. I hate it when hat happens.
OMG, didn't even see that top row up above the blue top. Thought it was going too easy. LOL
I don't get the stategy of getting the frog up on the top asap. once it's there it can't do anything. Basically I just don't get this level at all. It takes a gazillion stripe wrap combos to clear the top, I've only managed to get down kto three jellies left and that was once out of probably a 100 tries. I'm surprised there aren't more comments on this level It is once of the nastiest I've encountered so far and there have been some nasty ones! This whole 600 level has been really very tedious.
Finally beat this round by combining a chocolate bomb with a striped candy three times. This cleared all but one jelly at the top. Saved the frog til the end and used him to get the last jelly.
I too find this level 658 to be quite an evil one... I'm having probs getting the vertical stripes and especially with the color ball combo...
Unless I get the almighty lucky board I'll be here for a bit
You have to get the licorice at the top before anything else or it's game over. Moving the frog to the top too soon is wrong because he's useless unless you get a color bomb. If you release the cream too soon now you have bombs to deal with which reduce the number of moves. Hopelessly stuck. Grrr
