Tips for level 664 Candy Crush Saga
This is an extremely frustrating level.
The first thing I would suggest is if you click play and the first fruit is in one of the extreme end columns, quit and start again..
This wastes a lot of lives, but saves a lot of time too.
With luck the first fruit will be in an exit column, if not you should just need to move it once to get it in line with an exit.
ALWAYS move the fruit towards the center because that's the easiest column to open to allow the fruit to fall.
Once you have the fruit in an exit column LEAVE IT THERE!
No matter how tempting it is to move the fruit to make a match, if you move it out of the exit line you will have to move it back.
The second fruit falls down ON move 26, so make sure you make a vertical match in the column you want the fruit to fall into.
The third fruit falls ON move 11 so once again make a match in the column you want the fruit in.
Stripe/wrap combos and vertical stripes are the most useful on level 664. Although a colour bomb/stripe may clear a bit of cream and licorice.

This is one of the hardest levels yet. After a day of trying, not even getting close.
I'm finding this level frustrating in the extreme. While the help on this site is no doubt the way to go, I've had the initial ingredient emerge in the extreme columns for at least 8 games in a row. Not good! I'm about to give up and stop wasting my time!!!!
Great tips, but so often I have ingredients far to left or right. Losing so many lives. IF I happen to get an ingredient not far left or right still have to move it most of the time and that's so hard. If it is in an exit row, most of the time I can't clear that row. Hate this level.
this has got to be one of the most boring levels ever. I'm sure, by fluke, I'll pass it one day.. but so far, not even close.

I had the initial ingredient in the extreme columns for at least 30 games in a row. Finally cleared the level with 3 star
Be careful of the last fruit drop. It's completely random. So far I've noticed a range of it falling from move 13 to move 11

Managed to beat this level by getting the three fruits in one row and then using four lollypop hammers I had accumulated to clear a path to the bottom.
Really King?? 3 days now and still can't pass this level!! Really close to quitting...

I have been on this one for 4 days now and it is extremely boring and difficult. This entire episode has not been much fun. I have played this level over 100 times and have gotten 1 fruit in a couple of times. This is not fun anymore. I am seriously thinking about giving it up.

Ok...day 5 now...if the fruit is in far left columns, no need to try cuz it's impossible...wasting countless lives trying to clear this level on my laptop...KING will we ever see mobile updates again?? No fun anymore...

Well, I will succeed one day and I'm glad we finally have a challenging episode again. This one is hard, but I'm sure everybody who came this far will pass this level as well. Remember, we now have boosters, I didn't have or used one single booster before level 500.

I thought level 660 was the most difficult until I hit 664. Good grief this was hard! I ended up using lollipop hammers at the end. And it took a week before I was able to get close enough to use those hammers. If you're unlucky enough to get a fruit stuck on the far side, close out and start a new board. There's obviously no winning that one.
I normally love the levels when I have to bring down the ingredients. I have been on this level for days with only once in a while bringing down one ingredient. I have been cheated several times out of combos I have made. This level has problems that need to be fixed. Obviously, I love the game or I wouldn't have made it this far but this is just ridiculous.
I found some tips that helped me complete level 664 without a booster:
1) Focus on one exit column. I personally feels center column gives u the best chance.
2) Each frosting takes 5 hits before it disappears. Thus concentrate on breaking the one at exit column
3) The 2nd and 3rd fruit will always drop at the 25th and 10th mark. Therefore at 26th and 11th mark, clear the candy (preferably vertical) above the selected exit column
4) It's best to have the first fruit appear very near the selected exit column at the start of the game (say 2-3 fruits away). Otherwise you would waste moves moving it.
I've used everything I have to try and clear this level , so far all I've managed is to clear is one fruit , can't get remotely close at all , some great tips here so im away to give it a blast and try again ,happy crush peeps .
well this is it for me. King I hope your stock keeps falling and people keep dropping the game. This is a prime example why. Pure luck needed. Don't give me the skill stuff, I didn't get here by not having any. Haven't been close. this is THE worst level of the whole bunch. It's either pure luck or line your pockets. I've had it.

When I concentrated on what move the fruit was falling and got it in the right column I was able to get a few vertical stripes in that column. I did use a "hand switch booster" to move the last fruit over seeing I had a vertical stripe set up to take it out.
still finding this extremely hard , only ever managing to free one fruit , 4th day now and not even coming close , the fruits are always on the extreme left or right ,just waiting on a lucky board but they seem to be very few and far between , it gets boring after a few days especially when there is very little hope or even coming near , maybe take a few days break and come back and see if there are any other useful comments , good luck peeps .
By SHEAR LUCK all three fruit fell down the middle column. When I had 3 in a row, I ended up using a lollipop hammer to smash the licorice under them to complete the level. It took several days, but it can be done even on pure luck alone. Had I read this page before though, I may have been able to clear it sooner.

This level is mind numbingly boring. I've been at it for days and I'm not even close, and while there have been several levels that were extremely difficult, for most of them at least I had fun trying to beat them. This one...not so much. It's just frustrating and boring. I agree with the earlier suggestion to end the game immediately if the fruit appears in one of the end columns (which it usually does) because it is almost impossible to maneuver it into an exit column from that position.

My comment does not seem to be published ,this is my sixth day and so far I managed to clear 2 fruits once , 2 fruits in 6 days is not fair , it's bordering on the impossible , can say that this is the most boring level yet ,because 99% of the time I have to quit the game because the fruits appear in the far left or right of the board , bit unfair ..don't you think .#thatisall .......
On this level for over a week now and I have played 100's of times. I have managed to get only 1 fruit down. Boring, boring, boring. Seriously thinking of quitting.
I have come close on 3 occasions in last few days..been on this level 4 days...oh well...I will get a lucky board sooner or later :D
After a week I finally completely this level. I had to use a swap candy to get my 3 fruit lined in the same row and then had to use a hammer to get them through. Very boring and frustrating level. Good Luck.
As per others, just a horribly frustrating level. Stuck for 3 days and losing hope rapidly. Maybe someone needs to tell King: "Enough!! Fun whilst it lasted, but its time to retire Candy Crush at level 700 and "encourage" us addicts that have made it this far onto one of your other offerings!!"
Seriously Candy Crush???????? Even on the lucky boards you don't give much of a break. Get the fruits lined up perfectly and nothing to get rid of the cream and liquorice. Give me a break!!!!!!!! (please!)
I have no sympathy for any of you at all! You by some miracle got past 655 on FACEBOOK! Ie. the limited 5 lives version where moving the clock forward won't work. That means you got your lucky board early on. Be patient though. Soon enough this episode will be available on mobile so you'll be able to plow through games at a much faster rate to get your miracle board. Never give up on a level until playing on mobile a while first.
Oh and by the way to those of you complaining about being stuck for days? Once this episode is on mobile you'll be able to try or reset more games in an hour than you have over days on the facebook version.
this level is a BULLSHIT grrrr....
The biggest irony for me is that I got past the original 500 and 578 on facebook before those were on mobile. If I had started playing those levels on facebook I would've probably cleared them both in about a day or two as supposed to the two weeks it took on facebook.
Well over a week Ive been stuck on this level ,I feel like a hamster on a wheel , its a never story of bad boards , very very little chance of completing . I'm in a loop with no hope as this level gives no hope .the comments and tips are no use unless you get a decent board and you only ever get a decent board 1 in every 20 trys .....
I mean if I had started playing those levels on mobile I would've cleared them in a couple days. Haha
This was an irritating level. I got all three candies in one column and used three lollipop hammers to clear the last level of cream, the foil and one candy that was in the way. Two hammers and a switch hand would have worked, too. I recommend getting the candies all in one column and then using boosters if you have them. I had a stockpile of hammers from the wheel so that was convenient.
I HATE THIS STUPID LEVEL!!!!!!!!
Finally made it after 5-6 days or so.
- Dont ever try to get the fruits down to the coloumns on the sides. You want to get them to the middle one, or less ideally, the two on the side of that one.
- If the first fruit starts at the edge of either side. Forget about the whole freaking level. You will waste too many moves if you even are successfull at getting the fruits to the middle coloumns.
- Try to get vertical striped candies. Or Striped + chocolate ball. Or Striped plus vrapped candy.
- Pay attention to the move counter. New fruits drop down on move 25 and move 10. That means if you are on move 26, you need to make sure you make a move near the coloumn you want the fruit to fall down on. Same on move 11.
- If you successfully remove 2 fruits pretty quick and you are down on move 25 or something. The last 3rd fruit will fall down regardless. So make sure it falls where you want it to.
Don't start unless fruit is in centre column. Then on 25 and 11 drop fruit into the same column. You then have ten moves to blast away the brick in the way. Difficult but not as tedious as some at least there is a way rather than pure luck.
King needs to put a frog in this level to make it doable.
I'm now well into my second week on this level and trying to get the fruits in the middle is hard because on almost every board the fruits are are always either in the extreme right or left , Ive exited this game more times than ive played , finding it very very difficult indeed .
Dreadfully boring level that relies too much on getting a lucky board (where the candies are towards the center) which rarely happens. After a week and a hundred or so unsuccessful attempts, the only thing I've learned is two bombs together seems to be the best combo to break open an exit column. Yet, I am still stuck and losing interest in trying to beat it. This just might be the level like the one in Pet Rescue that cured my addiction-- which isn't totally a bad thing.
Don't give up. I was on this for 9 days. If the fruit is in the last column forget it you will waste your time. I finally got them to line up in the middle and completed this level with one move to go
This is my first post here but I have followed for a long, long time. I can't believe this level is so hard. To me it seems almost impossible to beat. I have a feeling this will be the end for many players of CC, simply because they can't pass this one. I've been at it a long time and not even close on this one.
I had to play this level hundreds of times before I beat it. Towards the end I only played if the first fruit was in one of the three middle lanes. If it wasn't there, I quit the game. My advice is to play the center column. That is, work to get all three fruits down the center column. After playing so many times, I can't imagine how to do it successfully any other way. I never really got close to winning until I beat it, so don't get discouraged. This level is all about a bit of strategy and a lot of perseverance.
Nearly two weeks on this level and my bet chances come when I play the middle exit , but I have to exit more than I play because the fruits are always at the far right or left and impossible. I feel I have a chance when the fruits are near the middle but those chances very very rarely come ,I keep coming back here to see if any more useful tips are posted so that I can try again , but im seriously scunneret , when a game because so boring its time to quit .

I had two adjacent speckle balls that I swiped together very soon into the game. It got rid of the licorice, but even with that edge I could not blast the blocks away in time to drop all the items. I am not on Facebook and do not get spins for free boosters, so that is not an option for me. I find myself stopping playing even though I have lives left. This level is just not fun. I will step back and do something else until CC makes this level easier.
After reading your tips I completed this level in one try. I had an extremely lucky board. All 3 fruits dropped down in the same exit column and I had 3 stripe/wrap combos. I needed 2 hammers to break the cream just above the exit. More luck than anything for this level.
The tips here were very helpful. Here's how I passed:
1. Restart unless the first fruit is in the middle column. Chip away at that column.
2. On moves 26 and 11 make sure you have a vertical match so the fruit drops down the middle column. Set yourself up to do it. If you have to make a horizontal match across the middle and the fruit drops into a column adjacent to the middle, move the fruit to the middle.
3. With 10 moves to go you should have all 3 fruit lined up in the middle. I didn't have to use a booster but I have the striped paintbrush so I dropped a vertical stripe down the middle. If you don't have that you might need a hammer or two to finish it off.
After reading all these comments thought I would be stuck forever. Got a good game where I got all fruit and kept it over centre then worked on stripe wrap combos to break the thru. 2 fruit down then lucky I had a stripe under last fruit and voila done. Its not an easy level but can be done. Gl
After a week of frustration on this level i am looking for a new game to play. It stopped being fun and is irritating to get this far and hit a brick wall.
The first time I cleared this level I needed a switch glove from the free booster wheel to get the last ingredient over to an exit column. I went back and got through it again without boosters and scored over 100,000 points. Always try to get the fruit to fall either in the middle column or the two right next to it .This was a tough level but nowhere near 655. This one took a couple days though.

I got all three in the same column, not the middle, then used 4 hammers to break through the hard thing. I got the hammers by playing one of those other games it offers after you are out of lives.
This only took me a little over 2 days to beat twice ..once while only using 1 free switch booster and the second a day later with no boosters at all. I would agree with a "very hard" rating but I'm not sure I'd say 664 is "insanely hard". It is not nearly as hard as 655 or the original 500 although this did remind me somewhat of 500.
My strategy turned out to be good:
- First you concentrate on clearing 1 column, take the one that's nearest to your first fruit.
- Then play the fruits through this column. Not easy, but not impossible, because I succeeded this way.
certainly a level to give up the game! 80% the fruit are at the edge so no chance of succeding at all

Think they've listened and made this a bit easier today by letting them fall through the blocks, which before, they used to get stuck on top of...Fingers crossed will get me through this after over a month!! :)
Got through this level today on the first try after being stuck for a few days. When I got through I looked back and realized that King had changed the ingredient requirement from 3 ingredients down to 2. Yea!! Good move King. Thank you.

Struggled with this one on ipad for a week, then went on computer and as stated before, you only have to get two down and much easier. Managed to do it right away with 29 moves left!!
Boring boring BORING LEVEL!!!! No skill involved. Just luck. Seriously, King? Funny how the wrapped candy combos in OTHER levels work SO well to annihilate a strategic move and yet does absolutely NOTHING to kill the remnants of the frosted blocks and liquorice swirls. Be consistent if anything, for goodness sake!
awful hellish level... without doubt of all the 'hard' levels this is the worst, fruit falls to the left or right, give up without a move because it simply can't be done... King had finally reduced this to 1 nut and 1 cherry on the PC but it still sucks cock as do King... fat ones
SERIOUSLY KING! Are you kidding me with this level. Other difficult levels has some form of strategy. This is awful and I have paid enough for boosters. And by the way, how come the wheel NEVER lands on the jackpot? Another rig! Joke joke joke. You took all the fun out of playing this game to sheer stress level. AMAZING
Finally! U can do it, i just did! Really close to quitting this shit on this level, but then all of a Sudden it just all fell into place. Don't give up!
After a crazy amount of attempts on my ipad, I moved to the PC. On the PC you only have to bring down 2 fruits and you get more moves! (at least on mine) Beat it in first attempt on PC.

So they must have made this level much easier for mobiles too now:) i play with my iPhone, it gives 45 moves. And I beat it first try with many lives left. Yay! CC! Good job listening to my forerunner players who suffered.

Hard level, but the tips at the start are now incorrect (on a computer at least). There are only 2 fruits to get down and when I just retested the game to check, the second fruit fell when the move number got to about 30, I think it was.
I agree though if a fruit is on an extreme edge, you might as well quit than prolong the agony.
I used booster coconut wheels to no avail (though I at least got one fruit down at times using these).
Finally got through, no boosters. but it took 2 early colour balls/stripes where the colour balls appeared by themselves and a stripe was easy to make next to them, then I had a chance to make a third colour ball/stripe plus a couple of stripe/wraps.
Until you get a good run like that, it's a bit hard, even with only 2 fruit.
Swear that every time I read this blog I go back and I beat the level. Crazy luck.
Like me others have said. It's only 2 fruits and it falls after your 31st move, so best clear middle column during that move.
These tips were great! I got it out with less pain than anticipated.
These are the tips that worked for me:
1. Unless your first fruit is in the middle of the board, start again. You may need to move it one across to align it to an exit column.
2. Stay in the middle of the board, do not stray to far. Focus on vertical stripes to clear the blocked middle column/s.
3. Make sure that at move 30 you are in the middle of the board. In fact, if you play in the same column that your fruit is in, the second fruit will fall in that same column and make your life easier.
I got it out with no boosters (or combos for that matter) but the most frustrating part was getting a board where the first fruit was in the middle.
Struggled with this one for a long time -- finally used a coconut wheel from the bonus wheel and blasted through toot sweet!
