Candy Crush Saga Level 714

Tips for level 714 Candy Crush Saga
The board is completely covered in jelly on level 714, but it's only a single layer  so only has to be hit once. BUT, the bottom part of the board is under locks, so no more candies will fall into the bottom area until the locks are opened.
There is one key on the board to begin with and the rest of the keys fall down as you are playing.
The keys appear every 11 moves, so on move 35, 24 and 13, so you only have a few moves left to complete the level once the locks are all open.
Some of the locks will open with the third key, the rest need all 4. The best way to play is to clear as much jelly and cream as possible while waiting for the keys to fall.

Correction... when the final key unlocks the final jelly, that jelly is double. So you then have a maximum of 13 moves to destroy that.
Not managed so far but can see the only way to achieve is horizontal stripes or strip/wrap and bomb/stipe combo within those 13 moves.
Don't know if this is an update to the original posting but this level is tricky and requires a degree of luck toward the end

Why does another key release when you have 2 moves left? Does it serve any purpose?

it is weird, as there doesn't seem to be any relation between the opening of the locked jellies and the keys coming down...it's happened to me that the keys don't come down and suddenly, the locks open...very difficult level...stuck already for 3 days

I am starting to really dislike this 714 board. It is so annoying coming 2 jellies short! 12 moves is not enough to clear all those double jellies once that needed key comes down!

I don't understand the point of the last key right at the end

Michele I completely agree with you. This is a VERY difficult level. It is even worse than the original 655 and 664 which I beat twice before they were nerfed! Harder than 673 and the rebuffed 688 too! Horrible level! I am leaning towards "insanely hard" on this one!

I guess I got very lucky on this one. I got it on the second try.

Early in the game, concentrate on destroying the row of icings. Keep an eye on matches that can destroy the upper corner jellies in the protrusions.
Vertical striped candies that can clear the bottom jellies are also useful and reduce the amount of jellies that have to be destroyed towards the end of the game.
You don't have to destroy the first and second key immediately, so don't focus on that. Let them be destroyed in matches that come up naturally.
Then destroy the third key as soon as possible to unlock the chests.
Prepare special candies, but leave them unused. When the fourth key appears, destroy it immediately so the rest of the chests are unlocked. Then use the special candies to clear as many jellies as possible.

This level is all about luck, once all keys have been used you only have 12 moves to remove all jelly. Only a combination of stripes and bombs strategically and "luckily" placed will allow you to finish this level.

Stupid level. Your reward for all your hard work early on where your all possible jellies, is that you don't have enough moves to finish the job off. Does anyone remember playing football as kids? We always used that silly rule, "next goal wins!" No matter what the score was. This level is exactly like that lol.

Must be my lucky day, I succeeded with my first try. Happened to have two chocolate balls beside each other when the last key fell. So after opening the locks I matched them and wiped out almost all of the jellies. The remaining moves were enough to take care of the rest.

Quite enjoyable. Need a lucky combination chocolate bomb plus striped candy. I use a bonus hammer to get the last jelly.

Ive cleared the board almost with colour bombs and stripped candys.. after 4/5 moves then you gotta wait 25 moves just for the key to be released. the last key gets released with only 10 moves left.. given you no chance to clear the remaining jelly
Ive come close to winning but always run out of moves.

JanC here. 714 took me way more tries than the latest version of 713 actually but it was way more fun to play. Kept getting down to 2-3 jellies but I didn't use boosters, just kept at it and got it without any suffering :)

King is making these levels especially hard so you will switch over and start playing the new candy soda game.

Reading the comments above I was expecting another difficult level like 713 but did it first time with several moves to spare.

I’ve never stuck on a level for this long. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong
Even two chocolate bomb +striped combos plus loads of specials didn’t do the trick
Have used up all my boosters on this.
Shame as I really enjoy this game but this level is making me feel really thick! I give it a few more tries then I’m switching to Word Brain. This is giving me a migraine
