Candy Crush Saga level 744

Tips for level 744 Candy Crush Saga
Get rid of the chocolate first if you can and it won't come back.
You need 5 keys to unlock the fruit at the bottom of the board.
Stripes or stripe/wrap combos will unlock the coconut wheels and if you have 2 together match them and they will give you a whole row of stripes which will clear loads of cream blockers from below the fruit so when you unlock the fruit it can fall easily.
You can also use the coconut wheels to clear the chocolate if it gets out of control.
Vertical stripes will clear the rest of the cream and send the fruit out of the exits.

Damn easy got it on 1st try with 3 stars.

I thought 742 was hard, but this one is just as difficult. Kudos to the person above who got through on the first try. This level is boring, boring, boring. Did I mention it was boring? Have played about 50 times and got close only once, and it wasn't close enough. So few comments at this level. I wonder how many people have just given up. What is King thinking?

Also got this one in a couple of tries.....odd streak for me....sure that I will "pay" for this later one.

Tried for an houre and then could match the 3 coconut wheels, which blew everything away. 23 moves left and 3 stars.

Matching 2-3 of the coconut wheels will get you through this level handily!

Hardest part is getting 4 hits on the block stopping the fruit. Took about 12 goes for me to do it regards AJ

If you use a coconut from the daily wheel, this helps

Been on this level too long ... Boring and waiting for the lucky time ...

Might be fewer comments because the captcha is so difficult to work out ...

This level is actually quite good because at least you have to think about how to crack it. Just use the first coconut to release the other two, then ensure the remaining two are adjacent and move one into the other. The masses of vertical striped candies blast through.

most of these post must have had a very lucky board because I have been stuck for weeks. Just passed and what happens??????? ERROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY SUCKS!!!!!! Might be the end of candy crush for me now.......

Very unusual set up need to get the keys and coconuts working. I had a chocolate bomb plus coconut next to each other. Twenty attempts.

I can't even break through to the coconut wheels with a stripe because the chocolate is so aggressive in the top portion that I cannot make a striped candy. Most of my moves will be in the lower left side and then the chocolate takes over very quickly. This is going to be a long event for me, I can surely see that. Very maddening.

Aim for the lowest coconut wheel then once unlocked, use it to free the two other coconuts that should be combined together for massive destruction, in the end it will leave with one cream layer to blast no matter the combo is, good luck ;)

JanC here. Three stars, no boosters, fb, etc BUT! I did try a wrap/stripe booster on an early attempt. Did no good. Yet again, requires a lucky board. Nuisance.

I wasn't stuck on this board for that long before I gave up and used two of my freebies. First of all, I didn't know that coconut wheels could be combined together, so that was a nice tip I learned here. Even though I was able to combine them together three different times, it did no good. I could not break through all the blocks at the bottom.

I finally used a freebie coconut wheel and a chocolate color bomb to start the game. My coconut wheel was in just the right place to unlock the other three wheels, which I then combined two of them, which set the third one off, which did a lot of destruction. I finally cleared this board, and it was worth it, as I could see a lot of frustration from endless amounts at futile attempts.

c/candycrush here.

I found this level really hard, wasn't anywhere near cracking it, but have to admit it is a fun level- a challenge in strategy.

Trying to kill the chocolate helps, but those last blockers are hard to shift.

I ended up starting with a coconut wheel from the free spins. Then a lollipop hammer to bang the last blocker out of the way.

Took many tries to pass this one, but I thought it was a good level. The coconut wheels didn't help much on the time I beat it, instead I focused on vertical stripes up the middle to get the fruit to drop.

thanks for the hint about unlocking all the keys and then combining two coconut wheels. Worked well!

After more than 3 weeks, finally passed. Used my coconut wheel from booster; choc ball booster; 3 moves from friends. So glad. Good luck.

How do you get moves from friends?

THANK YOU for the tip about combining two coconut wheels. I was stuck on this level and didn't like it. I read the comments and started a game with a free coconut wheel booster. That unlocked the caged wheels. I combined two uncaged wheels and the board blew up!! I was actually worried that I would clear the cherries before I earned at least one star.

Michele McBride - you should see a page that tells you what friends are stuck on a level and give you the opportunity to send 3 moves to those friends. Your Crush friends should also see that page when you are stuck on a level. The 3 moves are only good for the current level. Once you beat it, unused moves go away.

I haven't been stuck over seven days in a long time!! I had trouble freeing the coconut wheels but finally got a lucky board and everything fell into place. Frustrating level.

Hard level. I used the strategy of opening and closing games until I had moves that would clear some chocolate on the right and above with no available moves on the left, since this wastes moves and you're likely to clear more chocolate when the board shuffles. Try to mix the 2 wheels together or a wheel and a stripe (so that it goes vertically down and hits as many blocks as possible) It requires luck to get to that stage though.

Piece of cake after combining 2 coconut wheels!!
Thanks for the tip!!

Can get the coconuts & keys sorted but then any further moves needed to clear any remaining mellows mysteriously dry up.
Once again a lucky board will be required. Boring.........zzzzz

Anonymous said...

Give me the two coconut wheels together then!

Anonymous said...

Third try. I was able to get rid of the chocolate early, giving me 20-something moves to concentrate on everything else. getting quite a few wrapped candies really helped.

I'm shocked that so many of you got this one so easily! I've been stuck FOREVER! Not even gotten close! UGH!!!

After reading the tips I used all of my Coconuts and was only able to get 2 together 1 time. It did lots of damage but did not touch the icing by the cherry's.......I still had about 20 moves but was not able to breakdown the icing walls......shucks.

Unknown said...

2 wheels together barely did enough damage to do anything, so people who are saying that's how you clear the level are wrong. Finally managed enough vertical stripes to get 1 star.

I need a hammer!!!! This level is another frustrating level. Definitely need a lucky board. Argh. Matching the wheels is good for clearing the chocolate and opening the keys, but you still have to match enough other stuff to get the block open under the cherry.

I made it after my 6th try with 3 stars....I matched 2 coconut wheels and the board cleared making way for the fruit....

I LOVE this blog!!! It has helped me many times to understand the levels better. After reading the comments about using the coconut discs together, I completed level 744 with 3 stars! Thank you!!!

Level 744 - I was about to pull my hair out. This blog is the best!!! I read how to use the coconut wheels together and it cleared out a huge amount of obstacles. I still had to use two lollipop hammers to release the cherry, but didn't care because I was so sick of this level. Thank you everybody for your great tips!!!!
