Candy Crush Saga level 820

You need to collect 10 colour bombs and 5 stripe/stripe combos to complete level 820
You need a bit of luck with the lucky candies, if they turn into colour bombs they are very helpful, unfortunately they can just as often turn into something bad like chocolate or bombs. So hope for the best.
If you have become an expert at making colour bombs level 820 shouldn't pose too much of a problem.
The stripe combos are fairly easy, so concentrate more on making the colour bombs at every opportunity.
Get a stripe on the conveyor and let it move round to match with a second one while you're making your colour bombs. I actually missed a colour bomb pattern half way through so was lucky to complete this game.

Playing for 3 days now...no fun...horrible level!!

This level is the devil. It's so frustrating the majority of the time that I give up without using all my moves.

Definitely pretty impossible without a super lucky board or boosters.

I know people can be stuck on hard levels for several weeks but I get totally bored on the same one after 3 days. If you can make a wrap on or near the conveyer belt that seems to help. Anyway this is such a huge waste of time. I'm quitting(for a while at least!) and doing something else more productive!!!--Carla

I completed this level after 4 days. Needed a lucky board and two hand switches at the end to make the last colour bomb!

Unknown said...

I haven't beat 820 yet, but I think I can give some hints. Explode the mystery candies as soon as possible. If you don't get five sprinkle bombs or more, start over. Don't save the bombs or wraps, they are taking up needed space. Eliminate a color each time. I got the needed sprinkle bombs plus two or three extra and could not get the final two stripe combos. Hard to go back and play again after that. JB

Above tips work. Got sprinkle bombs completed three times and could not get stripe combos. All it took was 3 extra moves, extra sprinkle bomb, extra stripe/wrap, extra mystery candy, and two hammers. Easy as that!!! (all from free spins and extra moves from a friend)

A tough level, for sure. I've gotten close a few times. The last time I got all the sprinkles and four of the five stripe combos. At least this one is more fun than 819. At some point I'm bound to get a lucky board. It looks like not many people have gotten beyond 820.

Use all the special candies as soon as possible, blow up the sprinkle bombs as quickly as they appear, don't particularly try for the stripe to stripe - sprinkle bombs are harder - but do keep your eyes open for them. I got a lucky board after 3 days and then used a switch hand at the end for the last sprinkle bomb, - don't think I would have needed to, but I just couldn't face getting that close again and losing.

I got it after my 4th game playing (I know lucky, but I spent forever on 819). Anyway I started with using a chocolate sprinkle candy from the booster wheel. I concentrated on making stripes to pair with other stripes. I only used the chocolate balls when needed to line up my stripes. I finished all my stripe combos and still needed 4 chocolate sprinkles. I had 2 on the board and when I used both of those another chocolate sprinkle appeared, and after using it, another one was make. I finished with moves to spare. Keep at it and good luck!

This isn't fun any more. It's heartening to see some people are getting through.

I've been at this level for a week now and I hate it!

Anonymous said...

Have been at this level for close on two weeks. Finally made it through.

HATE - HATE - HATE THIS LEVEL - SOOOO FRUSTRATING!

Anonymous said...

At least I am not alone! Not liking this level at all!

Pff. I just passed this one. My hints are: concentrate on making colour bombs and stripe combo's on every move. The hidden stripes and colour bombs will reveal while playing. If no good move is there, use a colour bomb to get rid off a colour so you will have a bigger change to make combo's for colour bombs or stripes. Depends on situation on the board and of course what you still need to finish the game. Watch for combo's after every move ! Good luck ! JJ from NL

After 419, 420 was actually fun. Was I just lucky? Maybe so, but it only took 4 tries, thankfully. If 419 did anything for me, (other than bore me to tears and become a little bezerk) it taught me to slow down and be more patient. Look around to make sprinkle bombs then combine them with a color to give more possible sprinkles, or to eliminate one color so two stripes will come together.

Anonymous said...

Passed after 2 days. It wasn't a horrible level like 819. The cascades - even when they were destroying needed candies - were kind of fun to watch. I did notice that if your mystery candies aren't mostly sprinkles you probably won't have much of a chance. I did try to concentrate on making sprinkles while keeping my eye on stripes next to each other. Use the sprinkles asap to get rid of a color unless you can make one of the required candies first. Good luck.

Anonymous said...

the most frustrating part is that the work done to set up color bomb in inevitably destroyed by a chain reaction set off by the movement of the conveyor. grrrr

Peachie said...

I can get all of the double stripes. However, I am always left needing 4 or 5 choco balls. I'll keep plugging away since I've played about 10 lives.

Anonymous said...

I may have been completely lucky, but I passed after three tries. Here was my strategy: go for the stripe combos first while avoiding breaking the lucky candies as much as possible. Once you've fulfilled the striped candy combo order, the lucky candies have to turn into color bombs. Then use each color bomb to eliminate one color and make it easier to make more color bombs.

Anonymous said...

I'm having an awful time with this board, must have tried 100 times, but I just had an odd game. Got all 10 sprinkles easily, but I could not get even one striped-striped. That happen to anyone else?

Peachie said...

Mine has been the opposite. Get the stripes-like now-but had 6 balls needed. It's a flip flop :)

Anonymous said...

If I get all the sprinkles I quit getting stripes. Get very few sprinkles when I do get stripes. Awful level. Can't plan on putting any together because of cascading. HATE this level. I have not even finished all of my moves in quite a few games because you know it is a bust quickly. Time for a break from CC.

Anonymous said...

Not so bad. I had only been on the level since yesterday and just beat it with no boosters. I would suggest trying to make striped combos at the beginning and not use the secret candies right away. Just let them be revealed as things cascade and they will most likely be sprinkle balls. I actually got all of the sprinkle balls before getting the striped combos, but did it finally with a few moves left. Good luck and don't give up. You have made it this far.

Anonymous said...

This level is horrible but I'll keep trying. Sooner or later I'll eventually pass it.......after they change it

Peachie said...

Finally! 3 stars-no boosters. Just my time with the lucky board. GOOD LUCK everybody.

Pugmom said...

Started level with a free chocolate ball. Then just so slow & try to make chocolate balls. Difficult level but not impossible.

Anonymous said...

After level 819, this was a pleasure to play. Passed on my 4th try.

Anonymous said...

Started with a free chocolate ball. With 8 moves left , I had one chocolate ball to get. Couldn't get it. Arrgh! Will keep trying. Fun level, so that is fine. JS

Anonymous said...

Finally got it. After many attempts on iPad and iPhone starting with a free saved chocolate ball and resetting the board until I could make a second ball on the first move, I won it on my laptop where I couldnt reset, I won on the last move. All the checks were chocolate balls and I the quota of them with 20 moves to go, but it then took every last move, along with a little luck at the end, to get the stripes! JS

I found this much easier than 819, took 10 goes but I was very close on half of my attempts, just need to take you time and look very closely at all moves. Regards AJ

just sent a message to king.com about this impossible level and asked for it to be made easier, whats the chances of them doing it or even answering......watch this space......maybe if we all sent messages they might do something about it before they lose 100's of their players

Anonymous said...

Just a con to make you buy more gold. Complete rip off. Not possible without lots and lots of luck.

Anonymous said...

JanC here. Hey Gang this level really isnt that difficult. Just need to concentrate and use your candy crushing brains!! Tee hee

Anonymous said...

Wow i really should have jumped ahead and read your comments on this level. I recently got a jackpot again then had to face level 819 which I read was a very hard level and I was stuck on a couple days, so pretty much used all my bonus's on that level just to pass it and now stuck on this level. Starting to dislike CC.

Anonymous said...

comments on here make sense. get rid of the specials asap. if you're not down to 5 sprinkles or fewer, start again (unless the board has some immediate opps to make more). use the hand swaps to make more and once you have enough sprinkles do the same with the stripes

Anonymous said...

Nasty level. Took a few days bit eventually passed. Trick for me was to get as many sprinkles as possible and as early as possible. Won by getting to 2 sprinkles and 8 moves left. 3 helping hands put it to bed. Doubt I'd have won without the boosters.

Anonymous said...

hoping for a lucky board!!

Jane said...

Can make the pairs but can't make the sprinkle balls

Anonymous said...

Been on this level for over 2 weeks..very frustrated. Finally was down to needing 2 sprinkle candies and had one on the board got my second one from a cascade and it fell right beside other one..one move left..sweet..not! Set them both off and board froze..grrr!

Anonymous said...

Asking for way to many ORDERS.. plus the conveyor belt which is there to destroy any chance of you getting the task. No doubt in a week or 3. sprinkle balls will appear from absolutely nowhere it'll be a miracle.praise be to lord KIng. for cheating its users for 3 weeks.
I guess am like most users. go on have 3 moves and then leave. because its pointless. wait on I will pay 30/40 quid for extra moves.. maybe then I will be able to get this level done before the end of march..

c/candycrush here.

Has this level been changed at all?
I found it ironic after level 819 (which I found really hard) to wander into 820 and see it chockers with lucky candy-the very thing I needed on level 819. And wow, watch how those wraps self generate on this level where you don't want them!

Those lucky tick candies will only ever be something you need for this level ie a colour ball or stripe, so I am not sure where people got chocolate from, unless the level has been changed from the original format.

Here is my tip. Look out from the very start for chances to make colour balls or to open the lucky candy.
If you open one and it is a colour ball, look around carefully and take out one colour that does not have any stripes (if you can).
Do not match a colour ball with a colour ball.

I enjoyed this level. It wasn't super easy but in its present format, it is do-able in a day.

Anonymous said...

JanC here. Got this within maybe three tries, BUT! used the sprinkle ball booster. Didn't get it the first time I tried that but got close. Second try, it did the trick. Had plenty because I was stuck so long on 819 :P

Anonymous said...

It took me about a week to do this, but eventually did it with about 6 moves left!

Here's my advice - I found it equally difficult on iPhone and FB. In the end, the following things worked...

1. I saved up my free daily booster - had about 8 lollipop hammers saved up and needed 4 of them (I was happy to do so as I was sick of the level and it hadn't cost me anything lol).

2. Start with a sprinkle candy booster (again free) and make sure you can make another on the first move. If not, exit and start again if playing on phone/tablet

3. Concentrate on making the sprinkles - then use them fairly sparingly only when you can't make a wrapped candy - this is the key to it in my opinion. The wrapped seem the hardest to make - for me anyway.

4. When using the sprinkle candy, do not go for the most common colour, rather pick a colour which is well spread across the playing area as this will give you maximum chance of getting more powerful combos

5. Use the free hammers wisely at the end, but use them! Each one of the four I used made another sprinkle and then step 4 comes into play again.

6. When you have done it, be prepared for what seems an easy level of level 821 but in practice is just as hard - it's a lot more fun though due to the huge number of cascades. Just pre-warning that some smart alec at King decided to put three (maybe more!) killer levels one after the other i.e. 819, 820 and 821.

Good luck, hope the tips help you. Comments welcome

This game is no longer fun. Acctually it was many levels ago, this game was fun. The levels cannot be won, until a lucky board comes up or you pay for several boosters.....Same pattern with Pet Rescue and Farm Heroes. Goodbye Candy Crush :-/

Anonymous said...

It's pretty amazing how this game is fixed. If you use a 3 extra moves boost or start with a sprinkle ball boost, the secret candies will give mostly stripes and maybe two sprinkle balls. I've tested this several times during this level. This level is horrible.

Freecaroljoy said...

I am at the end of the rope. I will play and play and get to one more and will fall for the buying again. 820 and my interest is gone. It is so rigged. I have read and watched and it still goes on without end. I do not even get the lives given to me by friends. I come in in the morning and I it is full and I get 5-10 lives from friends. I play out 5 and I am done till it reloads. We really don't need lives but we have to have the tickets. What a disappointment this has become. I have come so far and it is like shut it down, stupid.

Anonymous said...

Yep, it is rigged for sure. Everything fell in place and I had one stripe combo. Guess what with 11 moves I could not accomplish it but they keep me dangling and expected me to buy. Screw that no more. It is not skill. I have purchased but it always does this after loooonnnnngggg dry spell and you know it is rigged. I could not even see a move that had 4 of the same color. Sure keep buying then and be charged by Paypal, King, and FB. It says $1 but I always wind up paying 3. Again where do all the lives go that my friends have given me. I had 5 this morning and accept 9. I stayed at 5 and had to wait for it to fill. It does not accept the lives I get. Overnight I get 5 without my gifts. Come on guys, I been doing this a long time now.

I *hate* this level. For those who passed it easily - be glad. I stopped playing Candy Crush for about two weeks because I despise this level that much. I came back today to try again and I'm thinking another break is in my future. This is a horrible level.

As others have stated, if you get all color bombs, you can't get stripes. If you get stripes, you can't get bombs, and if you ever try to set up two stripes next to each other, it all goes to hell with the damn conveyor.

(By the way, didn't encounter the problems with 819 that others did.)

Cat said...

Lucky, only took a few. Concentrated on stripe/stripe,as I found that harder than choc balls. Lucky because first few boards stuff kept exploding before I wanted, but not last board. I also kept an eye on things coming up conveyor-wise, and made harmless moves on the other side to avoid interference.

Anonymous said...

Definitely a challenging level. 3 days now and I've gotten down to having a stripe/stripe next to each other left to finish but out of moves twice! Depressing lol. Anyway, gotta keep trying. Good luck everyone

Anonymous said...

Well, finally got it. :). Had 4 moves left also. My only advice is go slow and watch carefully for moves. But you already know that. And I agree with other posts, 821 isn't much better, but seems more fun than this one. Good luck all.

Charlotte said...

Ugh finally. It didn't seem to work when I focused directly on colour bombs since I'd never have enough moves to finish the stripes, but I got there eventually by concentrating on colours but still making sure that I kept my eye out for stripes.

Anonymous said...

This level is RETARDED!

Bill. said...

Very difficult to get ten chocolate bombs if the lucky candy turns into striped candy then start again.

Anonymous said...

Finally, after about 3 weeks I got it. Not enjoyable, so I was only playing about once a day, got too frustrated. Today I started with the Extra 3 plays, plus a chocolate sprinkle. The board was much kinder and I got most of the chocolate sprinkles early in the game. Finally down to my last two plays and had one stripe combo to get, I had two stripes one space apart, so I used the Hand Switch. No good advice from me, just luck finally went my way. Good luck! On to the next level, hear it's another challenging one!

Anonymous said...

Three times completed sprinkle bombs but 1 or 2 stripes were left. Waiting for a lucky board. On this for last two days.

Mandy Smithers said...

I am pretty sure I finally started with a lucky board. Also used a sprinkle bomb extra to start the game. Used several bombs and then was able to create stripe combos.

Anon lafy said...

Got it! I started off by rolling the board until I could make a sprinkle. I was lucky to get the ten! Then I managed 4 out of the five stripe/stripe combos with another ready - but ran out of lives. I had 9 gold bars available from the previous level's purchase, so I used them to buy 5 more lives. I only needed one, of course. Yayyyy!!

What a toughie that level was, but fun, really.

Hunter MacLean said...

Mine says 7 color bombs needed...

Anon lafy said...

Done it! I actually quite enjoyed it, even though it was a real challenge. Sprinkles can actually be helpful in destroying a bomb counting down. Wraps almost made themselves, but my most useful combo was a wrap/stripe.

kfmconsulting said...

820 must have been nerfed recently--only need 7 color bombs instead of 10. Did it in less than a dozen tries and found it enjoyable. The stripe/stripe combos were easier to make than the color bomb and the special candies helped a lot. Open them ASAP to see what you have to work with. 3 stars, no boosters on PC.

Bill. said...

Now only 7 bombs needed much easier completed on the very last move.

One of the worst levels those King money grubbers have put out. Way to make the people who play your games hate you, King.

Unknown said...

Ay yi yi!!!

Anonymous said...

Turned out to be much easier than what the first players encountered. Or maybe I just got real lucky. I guess it pays to wait a few months before playing a level for King to make the level easier. First try with 17 moves left. The lucky candy all turned into candy bombs and stripes.

Unknown said...

This level is driving me potty! Whenever I get all the bombs, I've stripes left to get. Whenever I get the stripes first, the bombs are left to get. Frustrating!!!!! Or if I manage to line two stripes up, they get blown up! 3 days I've been on this now

Unknown said...

How strange!!!!! I write this comment above, go back and play the game and I beat it with 3 stars and 7 moves remaining !!!!

Thanks to the tip from Feb. 8th 18:47 I won it on my first try after us I g that tip !!! Thank you for the tip !!! Because I was having a hard time !!! If you don't feel like looking for the tip it was start with a free sprinkle ball ad then wait until you get a board where you can make a 2nd that's it !! Good luck !!!!

i have been on this level since last night and I've gotten down to needing just ONE color bomb for at least 5 games and with 10+ lives to spare! These kind of levels make me adamant that I will not use a boost. What a nasty level....grrr!

Anonymous said...

Yup. About 20 tries and a lot of frustration. 3 switches and a hammer was the road to glory.

Anonymous said...

The information above is wrong. Lucky candies never have bad outcomes. In this case only gives the player color bombs or striped candies. The only candies that have bad outcomes are MYSTERY CANDIES, like on the previous level. Anyway, thanks for the tips, I haven't passed this level, but here's a tip that bring me very close with only two color bombs left: Just fulfill the striped candy order as fast as you can, trying to not destroy the lucky candies as they will turn into striped candies, and only a few into color bombs. So try to save the most if not all of the lucky candies, use them when you have completed the striped candy order. They are the key of this level. I hope that this tip helped you! Good luck with this level!

CCexpert says-got it first try...horse pucky!!
I get loads of round sprinkle bombs--and can't get those double stripes!! Try AMD TRY-- until I get upset...I should quit!!
I constantly have the hardest time---and score very low.
S0metimes when pay for extra moves it doesn't pay off!
When pay for boosters never receive them-so then gotta file a claim....Just wANHA BE winning..........

I like this better than 819 but it is hard. The last two times out of three just needed one set of striped candies. Will keep plugin.
