Candy Crush Saga level 823

Tips for level 823 Candy Crush Saga
You have 50 moves to clear the jelly on level 823 and are provided with 2 colour bombs in the form of popcorn which you will have to grow to use.
The most difficult squares to clear are the top 2 on the far right, so keep your eye on chances to clear the licorice and cream from those squares all the time. If you find yourself with just the cream blockers second from the top they stop the candies from falling underneath which makes them harder to clear. See image.
The first image shows the squares to be cleared and the second shows what happens if you don't clear them, there is a blank square underneath which makes it harder to clear the cream blocker.

Other than those 2 jelly squares the rest aren't too difficult to clear, but you do need to grow the popcorn as there is jelly under it.

Pff. Done. And indeed concentrate on breaking the right upper corner because that's the hardest part in this one. And with a bit luck with some nasty combo's it's feasable. Good luck. JJ from NL

I can't emphasize enough to concentrate on the far right row especially the top 3 squares - probably go the exclusion of all else. Look after each move. If you don't clear these you won't win anyway. Next concentrate on getting rid of the popcorn. I hate popcorn. And no "pff" I haven't passed yet. It's not that easy.

I am sick of this level. I suspect that pff is lucky (liar) Jan C. Have seem any posts from her lately.

Pff gets on my nerves....really so easy for you? Hmmm...
I miss JanC also... She was good...and modest..;)

Soph here. work from the bottom. The cascades do the trick concentrate on sides. Sprinkle and stipe crucial

The bottom left is nearly as hard to get as top right. I hate this level. Working from bottom as much as possible does seem to help. Haven't been anywhere close. Have to disagree about Jan C. She is NOT modest. I'm surprised more people aren't on here. Maybe they've given up.

Agree- Top right & bottom left most difficult. Used fish from boosters and that worked! Also, the square second down at the top right doesn't have jelly under so I finished without having to clear this.

Finally. Had to buy 5 moves to get past it but no way was I going to let 2 moves stop me. Glad it's over.

Agree with other comments. Thanks for the tip about working from bottom(that usually works best in most levels). I beat it next time.just need combos. Once I had side by side sprinkles and still didn't win

Anonymous said...

Still not finished but using fish from boosters was really good. I have got within 2 squares twice now and each time been beaten by bottom left, probably because I paid too much attention to top right
2 sprinkles together did damage but still didn't defeat it.wrapped and stripes together are also good of course.

Officially done with cc it's deleted my phone and blocked on Facebook, having made it this far to be stuck for this long has made me lose interest fix it candy crush or you're going to lose more people

JanC here. Don't usually post here until I have passed a level & all too often it's just to say thanks for the tips, I squeaked through, hooray! But since my name's been mentioned, thought I'd chime in to say that I haven't passed this level yet but boy if I hadn't checked here after i'd been struggling with it for awhile, who knows how much longer I'd have been stuck without noticing that tip about the top right squares (because on my luckiest boards I was getting down to 3 or 4 jellies left). That is exactly why I come here for tips when I am stuck: so, thank you all again for the help & encouragement (hearing folks say they passed helps, *and* hearing folks are stuck helps too, so I know it's passable but hard and that if I can stand to keep at it, I'll pass too) ... But yeah, I quit for awhile & took to dreamworld over 819. At least this one isn't nearly as bad as that was! :P

c/candycrush here.

Fun level, bit of a challenge but not too hard to get through, you feel as if it will be possible eventually.

The right hand square, second from top, is the hardest of the lot to clear and can cause havoc.

You either get a good board or you don't in this game, but if you are given a half way chance, make combos near the bottom to cause cascades or do what you can to clear the top right.

JanC here again: caved! And if you can't stand it anymore & have plenty of daily spin boosters, try this: I chose three: a fish, a sprinkle, and a wrap/stripe. First thing, the fish escaped and ate the sprinkle :P (that's what I get for using boosters!) But! It didn't matter; more fish came along, it was a very active board, ended up matching a fish with a stripe and won with like 12 or more moves to spare. Only two stars and I'll probably replay it now the pressure's off to beat it without boosters but if you just can't stand this level, it's a way out :)

Been here for a while and don't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Have had two sprinkles together twice but that didn't do it I find it hard to set off combos. If I have a wrap, no stripe. If I have a sprinkle, no stripe. Frustrating level. Very tired of it.

Geesh!! I finally pass this level! I wish I had some tips to share but I don't. Basically I just got a lucky board. Sprinkles sitting right next to stripes. Sprinkles just started popping out of everywhere. I use those to blast the jellies that I needed. You can pass this level basically by getting that lucky board. Good luck. Just be patient it will come.

Change the rating on Wiki from "Considerably Hard" to INSANELY HARD! Many of the jellies on the right side can't even be destroyed by cascades. The only way to get them is through MANY striped combos because of all the layers over them. The closest I've gotten is 6 jellies left! Yeah there are no bombs or chocolate but still incredibly difficult just like 305 and 323 were for example which also had no bombs or chocolate.

Hi, it's Kath... Took about a week, but finally cracked it easily, with 7 moves to go. No Boosters, just luck I guess!!! Good luck fellow crushers...

I have been on this for too long as well. No starting place seems to do it for me. I am also miffed that I come in and have tons of lives from my friends. I have 5 from over night. I accept all the friends and I have no extra. If I don't take them I lose them. I do not understand what good all the lives that are send and lost are doing me. Maybe it fills a little faster, but not that I have noticed. Any on have a suggestion on that? On the Ipad, they stay in an envelope but I can't use the daily wheel there.

If you don't get moves in the upper right, you are screwed. I am finding that lower left is never cleared. Working bottom does not work. I have not even been close enough to buy. This is one tough level.

Another fun level. It took a few tries but I don't see anything wrong with a challenging level this far along. I did better on the last board because I paired both sprinkles with stripes which helped clear the top right. After that it's the bottom left that needs to be worked on.

I just made 690,000 and still had a ton of jellies left. Unbelievable. This is surely no fun at all.

Needed some help from the bonus fish very useful. Have to blast the popcorn then need some luck with combinations.

Second try. No skill involved I just got an extremely lucky board got color bomb stripe combo 3 times.

Hooray! I thought I'd be stuck on this level for ages, but thanks to the tip to work at the bottom first, and two sprinkle/ stripe combos, I passed it with two stars, no boosters. My only tip is to look carefully at the board before making any moves. Obvious, really, but you need to check that each move will pay dividends.

Thanks so much for all the tips! I come to this site prior to each level since the 500's and credit it for getting me this far! I, too, started at the bottom for the cascade effect, which is beneficial. Also got two color bomb/stripe combos, which cleared a lot of the board. 2 stars, no boosters.

Wow...Just passed this & glad its over.I like Peachi above bought 5 moves as had 2 jellies ready to go with a striped/wrap combo but no more moves.bought the 5 & 1 move its done ...was not gonna let it go & try again...just tired of the level...had multiple choco bomb/stiped combos & still it took the extra move.

Use your fish booster. They keep coming throughout the level. I passed it first time I used the fish.

Working from the bottom, meh ... not having any luck with that strategy on this level. It leaves me with no options but several wasted moves at a time, using up precious turns. I haven't resorted to using boosters yet, but even if I get the upper right clear and then the popcorn, I am running out of turns with usually 4 or 5 jellies left, a couple times just 2 which is seriously frustrating!

Anonymous said...

Yea!!!! Finally got it on last move!!
All moments helped!! Took about 25 times. Lorie.

I've decided that this level is the worst in candy crush maybe it'll be the level that makes me quit

Anonymous said...

JSN: I guess I am in a distinct minority, having gotten this on my first try. Getting not one but two candy ball-candy ball combos certainly helped. Along with a few striped-wrapped candy combos to mop up at the end. Often times with this game it's better to be lucky than good.

Anonymous said...

thanks! i was stuck on this level for a couple of days, i just attacked the top right and the rest came easily and i had 17 moves to spare

Unknown said...

An absolute horrible level . Ughhh.

Anonymous said...

Just passed this on my 25th (or so) try. Wasted 4 fish boosters. Finally a striped+wrapped booster to start and a lot of luck. Had 6 moves left.

Anonymous said...

This one is harder than it looks! And I agree w/others about the top right. That corner is a bear. Fraid I'm gonna be waiting for that elusive lucky board on this one.

Anonymous said...

I can't stand this level any longer. I cant pass it with double sprinkles, with every possible combination I can think of, nothing works. If you hear someone in Florida screaming please just put me in a padded room until I calm down....thanks!

Finally passed this level after eight days of daily play. Color bomb/color bomb combos don't do enough damage, but there are times that is the best there is. I passed using two color bomb/striped combos. The jellies in the upper right took care of themselves when the board starting running like a pinball machine after the color bomb/striped combos. The jellies in the lower left were eliminated with a couple of striped/wrapped combos. All in all, as with all of these levels, you have to wait for a lucky board.

This is an evil one no doubt and I have no boosters other a few lollipops and hand switches but I've not gotten a board yet that I can even use those... All the posts are from so long ago, wish there were some current players to talk to... I do appreciate the tips though and that's why I come here... Back to a good board I hope :)
