Candy Crush Saga level 838

Tips for level 838 Candy Crush Saga
You have 50 moves to clear the jelly in level 838. The jelly is hidden under all the cells locked in licorice strings as well as the popcorns and coconut wheels in the middle.
To begin with your moves are very limited and you may not have a choice of moves at all.
Try to work at the bottom if you can so you may get mini cascades to unlock other candies without wasting moves.
The coconut wheels are most useful if you can let them drop from the middle and switch 2 of them together.
If you can't manage that just use them alone or with a stripe or wrap.
The popcorns are the trickiest to clear as you don't have a lot of space to make stripes and get them into position, so concentrate on them where possible.

Play from the bottom & let the coconut wheels fall down. Swipe them together and all Hell will break loose. Good luck !

I did not manage to combine the coconut wheels, but nevertheless passed on first attempt with 15 moves left. Fun level! Once the chocolate sprinkles are freed, combine with stripes and everything happens on its own!

I struggled with this level on my PC and rolled eyes when I saw the above comments. I never even got the coconut wheels to drop down. Switched to phone and woo hoo everything they said was true. Got it first try and it was sooooo much fun to see the 2 coconut wheels together!

I was able to clear it and still have one popcorn left :)

Thanks for the tip, I found it easy if you reset the board until you can match under the bottom wheel otherwise you won't be able to free this wheel and get the other to fall down. Once I combined the two wheels together it was easy. After this it left me with a wheel and colour bomb together so it was super easy. Regards AJ

Thank you! I wished I came here sooner! Wheel+Wheel! Ha! I thought I would be waisting a wheel that way before I read all above advices. Wrong! Wheel+Wheel is The Best combo ever! Thank you for sharing the tip:) iPhone/No booster/3 stars

Thanks for the tip, but the boards have been tough. Sometimes the only move I have is to use a wheel. I'll have to keep trying.

JanC here. Well, that took too many lives! I tried all the suggestions, put coco wheels together, sometimes twice in one game, no joy. Heard that on tablets, there are fewer big cascades and maybe that's why, but finally passed, doing nothing different. Two stars, no boosters. :P

Thanks for the tips especially about the coconut wheels. I combined them on the first try but was not able to clear all the jellies. Several tries later, it worked like a charm! 3 stars, no booster, on iPad.

I just got this with 38 moves to spare! Not sure what happened but it was fun to watch the board light up!

Excellent tip, never tried combining 2 coconut wheels together before. Got it with LOADS of moves to spare

Literally impossible. Even with combining 2 coconut wheels. Then as I was close, the game actually cheated and rolled my last wheel the opposite direction that I moved it, so it would miss the last popcorn and cause me to lose. Super dirty.

JSN: Well, that was easy. First try - three stars. I never combined two coconut wheels, but did combine one with a candy ball. Finished up with a wrapped-wrapped combo.

Release the coconut wheels as soon as possible then combinations to batter the popcorn. Quite enjoyable.

AfaFter three days, I read these instrx and did it on first try.

LET THE COCONUT WHEELS FALL, DO NOT ENGAGE THEM IMMEDIATELY. tHAT IS THE KEY.

Then crack them with a stripe, wrap or bomb. It multiplies them tremendously.

LET THE COCONUIT WHEELS FALL.

What a fun level for a change. Combined two coconut wheels which cleared a lot of the board. Two color bomb combos did some more. Then a stripe and color bomb combo finished it off so I was done on my first try with moves to spare. I love getting a break once in a while.
