Candy Crush Saga level 846

Tips for level 846 Candy Crush Saga
A new candy is introduced at level 846, the UFO candy.

If you find this site helpful please "LIKE"------->

As you can see from the image, the UFO is in the middle of the board on this level.
You have 12 moves to clear the board of jelly, which is hidden under the chocolate.
Don't let all the chocolate scare you, all you need to do is switch the UFO with any candu and it will fire 3 wrapped candies randomly, which will explode and clear loads of chocolate, leaving you to mop up the rest.
If you switch with the candy directly under the UFO you will also get a colour bomb.
The two popcorns will give you 2 more colour bombs, so this can turn out to be quite a fun level to play.

Make sure you switch going down because if you do any other first move you will usually lose after that first move!!

The only tip I suggest is to remove this rigged game that have levels that have no chance of using strategy to clear. It's a game of pure luck in clearing levels unless you pay which is the main aim of King. They make the levels extremely difficult so you either give up or pay. I gave up and refused to pay to get to the next level which will no doubt be the same.

That tip might be better appreciated by people on level 1 rather than level 846.

Strategy is for players who believe there is one but there isn't. Best option is random swipes or pay to progress. If you pay then it's not a game it's an addiction

Trickier level than it first looks. Took me 4 tries, no boosters, to get 2 stars. First you see the UFO candy and think, hmmm what does this do? Then you switch it and BAM, the board opens up. Seems smooth sailing but the popcorn was a little tricky to get to pop before your moves are up. At least the choco doesn't grow back once you clear it, so make sure it doesn't cover the top row or no new candies will drop.

Talk about easy. As mentioned, jist swap the saucer with the candy below it. All downhill from there...

To all the whiny IMPATIENT people who say you have to pay to progress. I've never paid a dime nor will I. I always eventually pass. Does it get tiring at times? Yes. But quitting is always an option.

Anonymous said...

Just collect and stash from daily spins

Anonymous said...

Impatient is ok but 10 Months on one level is ridiculous no matter what tactics or luck is involved

Fun level. After I figured out what was going on, I reset until the initial move of making a chocoball resulted in getting rid of all of the chocolate. Then it is important to concentrate on making combos that pop the popcorn. Played two games that ended with one popcorn unpopped and under it was the only jelly left. JS

I would say that if someone is stuck on one level for months, they are not trying very oftten, or haven't learned how to play the game. Plus, if you are at level 846, I'd say it is impossible you were stuck that long on one level.

Agree, 11 days was my worst but that was not playing all the time, I have other things to do. Regards AJ

10 Months with various players of all ages playing regularly. I gave up when any bonus used in any shape or form lost you the level.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone win the jackpot on the bonus wheel? Never heard that is has been won on any blog I've read.but I bet some one here wins it all the time.

Actually hit the jackpot for the first time last week

JanC here. Just finished playing quests to advance (yes, another one who won't pay to play, nor use Facebook) and on my last comment was moaning about nothing new since the dread popcorn. Ha! Love the UFO. First try, got close; second try, passed with a couple stars. Not even clear about what I did or what the UFO did, but it was a kick! Fun!

It knows the best move and blocks it,bonus items end the game. Random swipes and luck is the best and only way to complete levels.

Listen....I have bought things...yes yes yes...
No whining. ..its my choice....
Those if you who brag about beating ridiculously hard levels on the first try...good.for you.
I have problem with.someone.buying a hammer or.5 extra moves.
since I do not get.free extra moves playing mobile.
Each type of device that you play on has.advantages and disadvantages.
I do not play on PC....so stop judging others...
Good luck all....

You can tell after the first few attempts if the level is going to one of the pre programmed easy level or one of the boring long drawn out fixed level

Took me 2 tries. I managed to get another chocolate ball beside the one that appears from the UFO, banged the 2 together, and presto! All the chocolate was gone. After that I made wrap/stripe combos and chocolate/stripe combos and it was done with 10 moves left. Only 2 stars, but I'm happy to pass the level! Love levels that I'm not stuck on for days!

Got the jackpot on the bonus wheel a few months ago but it seems to either stop or just click past every time..this is a fun level despite not beating it yet. Always seem to have one popcorn left!

Anonymous said...

It s designed to leave you with 1 or 2 left so you feel buying help will help you finish the level.reading other blogs it doesn't just helps make money for KING

Second attempt swipe downwards then combinations needed to get the coconut. Wish people would stop moaning play the game or remove it. It's your choice.

cherylcandycrush here

Quite a fun level because when you do manage to get past that first turn, it's very satisfying to watch a lot of jelly smashed all at once.
It took me a while to get through, several times I never got past that first turn, so I experimented.
I'm here to say I got through by making a sideways switch with the saucer. Like others, I was suspicious maybe that wouldn't work, but it can & obviously that first move is just luck of the draw.
After that, I found 2x stripe/wrap combos is what got me through.
Good luck and have fun.
It's not too easy but I think it is probably do-able within a day or so, so not too frustrating.

c/candycrush
oops, I meant satisfying to see chocolate smashed.

Anonymous said...

I disagree. I have no problems beating levels, and I've never paid.

Anonymous said...

2 cleverly designed programmes that 1. release chocolate that then blocks any move than can clear a level.
2.makes odi fall for no reason and also loses the level.

Anonymous said...

Even the bonus wheel doesn't give you the pointless prize (never get get top prize anyway)

A fun start to new episode & new booster "UFO"...Got real lucky & 1'st move opened up tons of chocolate as bomb created exploded along with wraps & cascades all over...Special combos & bombs kept coming...after 2 large cascades near end got single jellie on very last move for 2 stars..not often beating new episode start on 1'st try..I know luck big factor but very doable & fun...Stay patient & guaranteed you will win

Extra lives=lose quicker

kfmconsulting said...

Fun level to start the new episode although it took several tries. Finally got a sprinkle/stripe which helped open the popcorn. 2 stars, no boosters on iPad.

Anonymous said...

Strange how you never get the move you want until the last attempt then it's to late to use.

Anonymous said...

Interesting... I was prepared to be here for a while. I switched the candy above to form a candy bomb which fell to the bottom of the board. The bombs went off and exploded my bomb, but I finished with 4 moves left. Lucky board.

Anonymous said...

You can tell when your close to completing level because ODI falls off

Anonymous said...

I have never paid and I too used quests to get to this level. Got this one on the first try with 3 stars and moves left over. One of the easiest levels I have played. No tips, I just switch the saucer with a candy.

Anonymous said...

Clever how 90% of moves are on the wrong side of the board until 5
Moves from the end then it's to late

Anonymous said...

Did you know that you can make ODI fall in 4 moves without even trying

Anonymous said...

First move big cascade ODI falls 19 moves lost why am I not surprised

Anonymous said...

I guess I'm just lucky ODI fell on the fist move on 5 attempts. Glad it's not rigged to do that or i might become suspicious

Anonymous said...

You can tell the end of your attempt at a level because the game slows down 1 go before the end

Anonymous said...

The Cutty Sark had less rigging than this game

Rick Silver said...

For those that keep saying this game is all luck.. you just don't get it then. The game is luck AND strategy/skill. Both are needed. Luck determines what colors drop but the other part requires you to recognize opportunities and, in the best possible situation, create opportunities.

Anonymous said...

What Rick is saying is when I lost 5 consecutive games on the first move its just unlucky.?

Anonymous said...

Agreed. I've never paid one cent and I'm at this level

Anonymous said...

Most bonuses lose you the game and are therefore pointless so why are they here?

Anonymous said...

Sugar drop another exercise in dragging out a level that is already boring. A bonus wheel you can never get the top prize. Why my grandkids still play this game and then ask me when they get stuck is beyond me. I never help

Anonymous said...

With the latest sugar bonus now introduced the game is now even harder to complete and now my grandkids have finally given up and now deleted the game.told them they would introduce more junk ages ago

You pay for Playstation games. You pay at the arcade. Those aren't games?

Anonymous said...

JSN: The first time I played this level, I thought I was going to complete it on the first move, what with all the cascading. But getting the popcorns was always difficult. I got lots of striped candies and candy balls, but could never combine them. One game I played did not clear any of the chocolate in the top row after my first move, and so no candies fell. Game over! Anyway, it took me seven tries before I got through. Two stars

Anonymous said...

What is the big deal about people paying?? So what if people pay. If people didn't pay how would King contunue to give us enjoyable games to play!!???

Unknown said...

Wow. Such an easy level. First try and I got it 😊😃

Karen said...

Took about 4 tries..Fun!

I won 1 time in 5 years

Spike said...

Seems impossible. Ran out of lives quickly, need unlimited lives for this level. Maybe I am a nice person as I give lives to people I don't know, it is nice to get them for sure, wishing others would do the same. Anyway good luck all !!!

This level is now only 12 moves. Needing to hit each popcorn five times to grow them is making it very hard to pass.

After getting to the end of Candy Crush, I deleted and just recently decided to start over. It is interesting to see the changes in the levels and episodes. Not quite as fun as it used to be. Especially coming up against a level like this one.

Only 12 moves. Can't pass. Need lucky board.
