Candy Crush Saga Level 1292

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1292 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie.
Level 1292 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. This is a jelly level and there is jelly under the two cakes so they need to be cleared to re,move that jelly.
Look carefully at how to candies are moving on the conveyor, you need to make stripes and strip/wrap combos to clear the cake bombs. Use the conveyor to get the combos together so you can use them to hit the cakes, this will also make a start on clearing the licorice so that the cakes help to clear the jelly on the left as well as remaining licorice.
Clearing one cake will get rid of the licorice and allow you to make combos in the jelly to remove it. Try to make colourbombs if you can and switch them with a stripe or, better still, another colourbomb.
I find that saving one colour on the conveyor gives the best chance of making a special candy and use the conveyor to get your combos together.
The moves have been reduced to 42 since the level was released but it is still possible to complete without boosters.

Found that clearing the cakes cleared the licorice and lots of the jelly. Vertical stripes were easier for me to make. Tried a colour bomb/ stripe but the candies were not in the right place to hit the cakes. Managed one stripe/ wrap combo which helped with the cakes. Had to use one hand switch at the end for the last jelly. Didn't want to let this get away! Good luck everyone!

Two colour bombs together and job done cleared the whole board.

There's no jelly under the cakes, you only really need to clear one cake, that gets rid of the liquorice. Then concentrate on the left hand side, should clear without too much difficulty.

Clearing one cake makes the board workable. Finished 2 stars no boosters

Well, twice now I have cleared one cake and all the other jellies and didn't pass, so you do need both cakes to pass, I presume.

It is something wrong with this level in mobile. I have cleared all jellies except one cake and says I need 3 or 4 more to pass. Any help or ideas? Thanks all

I only had to clear one cake, then deal with the right hand jelly. I ended up with 2 moves left and one jelly to kill, so I used a lollipop hammer.

One star, but that is fine.

Sorry, Roberto - no idea what was wrong - a glitch?

Hi guys, I seem to be having the same problem as Robert.. cleared 1 cake, cleared all jelly, scored way over required total, 3 stars, but did not pass.. oh well, will keep trying. Hard enough without having to deal with glitches.

Had the same problem as Roberto cleared all the jellies twice on mobile and said had jellies left. Must be a problem with mobile

I am playing this level on a PC and I also have cleared the jellies three times with 1 cake but it won't let me pass the level...any ideas??

Now we have to clear the two cakes to pass the level, so it is harder. I have spent 25 tries to finish it. Good Luck.

Hi ,do you need to clear both cakes to pass ,I've cleared one and all the surrounding jellies but didnt pass ?

Just cleared all jelly without clearing the cakes, didn't pass - must have to clear the cakes too. (On desktop)

I don't really understand why we "have" to clear the cakes when there is no jelly underneath. The first time I cleared one and cleared all the side jellies, I thought I had it made, but it wasn't complete. Finding this to be a frustrating level!

You have to clear both cakes to clear the level. I had cleared the jelly a few times without clearing both cakes and it wouldn't let me pass the level. I cleared both cakes and voila sugar crush. Good luck all.

There is jelly under the cakes. But unlike cakes on other levels where you have to clear the jelly underneath the cake, this jelly disintegrates as soon as you clear the cake. That's why you don't pass when you only clear one cake. So yes, you do have to clear both cakes.

There must be some jelly under both cakes. I cleared one cake and all the left column. I had used a jellyfish booster and set it off after the board was cleared, it hit two fish on the cake, without setting it off. Only after hitting the cake did It show cleared and win the game.

Same for me. Cleared one cake and all the jellies on the left. Thought I passed, but no!! n Must need to clear both cakes, even though we're told you don't. Frustrating, but I'll stay at it.

same case with me, i have cleared several times all the jellies in the left and one of the cakes, but still not passed the level, please advise, thanks..

You need to clear both the cakes and the jelly to pass this level. Thanks

I cleared one cake, all the jelly (using two precious hammers) and did not get cleared. Does the second cake need to get cleared after all??? - same problem as all others. Please remove comments that make us believe we can do it without clearing the second cake. Waste of really good boosters that way. Not happy! Grace from DU

There's a single layer of jelly under the cakes.

There's definitely jelly under BOTH cakes. Like others, I read the older comments and went for one cake only. Would be good if most recent comments appeared first in the blog. Managed to complete today. Phew

THERES JELLY UNDER BOTH THE CAKES!!!!!!!!!!

YES WE KNOW ALREADY!!!!!!!

This level is making me clear both cakes. I watched a game on youtube and they only cleared one cake to get through. wtf?

You need to clear both cakes. Used a hammer to clear the second brick and had a lucky chocolate bomb plus striped candy twice.

Tengo el mismo problema, imposible pasar sin romper las dos tartas.

This blog which someone posts out of the goodness of their heart has helped me with countless levels - quit moaning and figure it out yourself if you don't like it!

c/candycrush here
as far as I can see, you definitely need to clear both cakes because there is one thickness layer of jelly beneath each of them. The jelly itself will be blown away when the cake clears, so in itself it isn't a problem. But it IS there. So you DO need to clear the cakes.

If you can manage 2 colour balls together, game done. It clears the rest of the cakes & all the jelly on the left.
No boosters really needed on this level-probably a 6/10 difficulty.

Clearing both cakes is now reqired. If you do not, you lose and are told you need to clear 4 more. Still not as difficult as many hard levels. Appreciate the tips!

the video and hint info needs to be updated. spent many days
trying to clear only one cake because hint says no jelly under cakes. when I finally thought I cleared all jelly and won, surprise, surprise, I wasted a lot of time trying to pass when I actually had no chance. very upsetting!!!

GC said...

After about 4 tries I decided I didn't really want to be spending days on a level, especially a hard level. So I tried a fish first then a sparkle and fish twice. On the last try I couldn't believe my luck, a sparkle landed right next to my booster sparkle. I set that off and worked on the remaining jelly. Then I was left with two pieces of cake, so I carried on til I had 2 moves left, I had no alternative but to use my last two hammers. It's all down to a lucky board, lucky move or lucky combo's' that don't keep exploding by themselves.

Good luck everyone.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about whether you need to clear both cakes/whether there is jelly under the cakes. I play on iPad and you certainly do not have to clear both cakes, there is no jelly under them but of course smashing them will help clear liquorice and jelly. Good luck to all.

bowdeen said...

There is a lot of confusion about the cakes in this level but you DO NOT need to clear the cakes to win. It does help to get rid of the licorice but every time you hit a cake with a special you are destroying the jelly underneath it. You can see that clearly. Two hits with stripes and there is no more jelly left. So if you can hit both cakes with stripes you'll get rid of all those jellies without needing to destroy the cake. If you've managed to clear the jelly behind one cake then focus on the other cake to clear it if you wish and it will get rid of licorice as well as any remaining jelly behind that particular cake.

I can't even break one cake let alone two. This is my third day on this level and my patience is very close to running out.

King recently updated this level and now you need to clear both cakes. King has updated several levels lately making them much harder to Complete. King wants you
to spend money on boosters.

Every example on fb shows you only have to clear one cake. I have cleared one cake 3 times and all the jellies on the left and don't get passed. This game should be considered HARD. What the heck is going on?

Unknown said...

same here!! anyone else, no jellies and can't beat le el-says 2 to go.

Boffo said...

Work on clearing the cakes. Yes both of them. Working the left side before the cakes are cleared is a waste of moves. Ended up using the 3 boosters. This level is a time waster so you get held up.

AngelS said...

I seem to missing something here. Even after clearing a cake I am nowhere close to winning. I cleared both but still was nowhere close to winning. So boring!

AngelS said...

Finally! I had despaired of ever winning this! Even if you take out both cakes, you will need a few more moves to finish off the squares on the left side, if you have been concentrating only on the right side.

Anonymous said...

How often does that happen? This blog is to help people who genuinely need help, not for people to brag.

AlvaroGerardo said...

Correct you are! I agree.

AlvaroGerardo said...

After the first cake pops, the right side of the board will clear, so why even bother with it?

Anonymous said...

Must have changed the game at some point - you have to clear BOTH cakes, there are jellies under both of them. Still working on it.....

This sucks
They really ought to have fewer colours on levels like this, otherwise it’s close to impossible

Can’t make enough stripes to break both cakes with this set-up
I guess I’ll be stuck here for a long long time

I found you have to clear both cakes. I have cleared one and god all the jellies and there were 4 left under the other cake. This has happened twice. Looks like an impossible level to me.

Regrettably, your strategy doesn't work on this level. This is because, uder the CURRENT version, there are FOUR jellies under EACH of the cakes, which your strategy doesn't account for. The cakes are not there as decoration to "trigger" the horn to make it easier to blow candies away. Rather, in addition to everything you did, BOTH cakes must be destroyed in the 45 moves, or you will be stuck (as I have been many times) with FOUR (or worse, EIGHT) jellies left because I was not able to destroy BOTH of the cakes and get to the jellies UNDER each of the cakes. But thanks for giving us some clues we can use. It's just not enough to pass the level.

Bored to distraction with this level. As usual, too few moves for so many jellies. Need a lucky board please king.
